hello i am alive and still barely coming on fw for raids and rift and getting the occasional news update from friends

Can the MM purge work on Hale in ESNM, or it’s broken? It was my first time trying as a purger and it kept failing :l Prec MM has 100% chance to dispell.. Am I understanding this wrong… it doesn’t work in this situation? I want player feedback before I report it.

The buff in ESNM isn’t an attack buff, which is MMs purge like rebel priests. You can purge in DT but not ESNM.

Assassin

I started off my search for a new DD toon with the assassin class. I went with a human because the racial skills are more beneficial to an assassin (IMO) and I’ve decided to go down the dark tree because when I think of an assassin I think of a stealthy, quick(evasion), an accurate kind of toon.

I got to level 30 relatively quickly, that 4exp is a curse and a blessing….So far I like the damage output, but I feel like it’s not as good as it could be because my talent tree is kind of a mess. I like the curse that jumps you right to the target, but what I’ve noticed is I get a little frustrated because I can’t do ranged attacks like I’m used too hahaha.

I think I’ll continue to play this toon until I at least get to the main quests in Nightfall Citadel, but as of right now it’s kind of an eh class for me.

Dark tree out of the three is the weakest. The beginning of the tree definitely has dmg benefits, but overall it’s not completely fit for full-on DPS. Most sins I generally see go split tree with edge/dark or venom/dark or full edge or venom. Venom has an aoe and bleeds while edge is more spike dmg. Dark I believe is just more a support tree, particularly for skill cd reduction in the beginning along with swift evasion.

I asked Gwenny but I want others opinions too if you don't mind sharing yours. When is the best time to go lv2 and lv3 wings?

like… toon progression wise when you get to those wings, honestly most ppl will expect some kind of use in your toon by then, varying by class/build (PvE wise). i personally would rather have you know how to play your toon. if you want solid numbers though, the numbers gwen gave for main mastery is pretty close, though i know a few lv2 winged ppl w/ ~lv40-50 mastery that still dps pretty well

if you healer build like divine or blood, could just focus on resistances and prob get around ~lv40-60 by lv2s, and ~60-80 by lv3s depending how much you want to farm wargod points

wings are just a thing that marks how much chroma you have, so should be taking your time to build it right instead of paper wings rushed w/ useless gems. also, forts > gems, not saying completely neglect gems, but work on forts too as you’ll probably get wings faster that way with a bunch of lv3s in 12/12s than a bunch of lv4s in 9-11/12 gear.

when is a good time for building them, i’d wait for fusion agent sales (about 8.5g for FA2s on Lionheart right now w/ sale, bought a few for 8.2g)

there’s fusion agent npc too if that ever exists again
