Second year where I attempt to create an illustration that works as a Christmas card, yet at the same time could be sold all year round. My "Little Hares" artwork last year was such a success that I wanted to challenge myself again! This time a squirrel is marveling his collection of decorative cones.

🌿 The Moose Explained 🌿 Hejsan! I'm here to talk about my obsession with moose - uhm I mean, explain the inspiration behind all my moose designs! :D

So then, I wanted to draw the moose. I made a bunch of dotwork designs, I put up a poll, and in the end we have this sunwheel moose and kurbits moose, as a sticker and a print!

The Conclusion: I feel like we're connected through time, via the moose and the petroglyphs, to our stoneage ancestors – and the stoneage moose.

What emotion do you create from? Might be a silly quiz but I resonate with the result. This world is strange, and so am I. But I love our odd universe and the human experience I have in this lifetime. I miss my more personal artworks that I used to do and which better reflected these feelings.

Comet Lately I've seen so many beautiful photographs of sky phenomenons like Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet, auroras and rainbows that I wanted to combine all of that magic into a scenery of my own. Sweetgrass (Hierochloë) A grass with a deliciously sweet scent that can be used in the wardrobe or around the house for its scent - or for cooking, it goes especially well with desserts. In Finland it's most well known in the Lapland these days, but I've heard so many beautiful ways these grasses have been used around the world!
