i’ve been loving all the paris content from yibo and his team. from the photos and the blogs! they have been spoiling us so well. one of the things tho that turtles are having fun clowning about are the little drawings/doodles found in the photos/videos. while i do think wyb has a capable team who can edit and style the content he puts out, i also like the idea that he has his own designer who adds stuff. this is all cpn. of course i will take every opportunity to connect things that may or may not be related. that’s just how we roll.
let’s start with xz, who basically said that drawing is a priority for him in an interview.
Q: “what do you usually do when you’re at home”
XZ: nowadays i would get a good full sleep, and draw when there is time.
so we know he makes time for it, he is consciously aware that drawing is in his to-do list. & from what we saw, he is very efficient when he draws. he can even do it in between filming when he is taking a “break” in his RV.
the first one we all screamed about is the goodnight 🌙. out of all the drawings, and said on a trip abroad, honestly, who can blame us from mildly freaking out? plus it’s one of those things we have history with.
i’ll point out some things that’s being talked about. and of course, i may miss some cause you can explain each and every drawing based on your interpretation. it’s almost impossible to write down each and every explanation out there. at it’s core, the cpn is that xz did the drawings.
1. Cool! not necessarily a drawing, but this one feels XZ to me. cause he knows how much WYB likes to be labeled cool all the time so he has to make his puppy happy!
2. the emphasis on the clouds! blue sky and white clouds anyone? ☁️
3. the paper airplane! a recurring symbol between them.
4. the 3 ⚡️that represent movement. something we have seen from previous drawings.
Coffee!!!! ☕️
yes, it’s a universal favorite. a lot of love coffee. especially if you jet-lagged and fighting to stay awake. wyb is also known to be a coffee enthusiast. but knowing XZ posted himself with it, and then yibo too. then the drawings of coffee. they share the same braincell.
this one does not need further explanation. the shades and the smirk. 😎
the camera character. we noticed xz likes to make things feel “alive” by adding human features to them. and lastly, some were looking at the mole — the same place as XZ’s. however, this was actually a part of the “filter”. you can see the black dot in other parts but this one by chance, landed on that spot. what a coincidence!!!!
This is probably one of the many clips that explains why they can't be seen together. I am a firm believer that no one banned them from appearing together in public. Look at dd being so unhinged! The subtitles are correct and verified by a Chinese speaker. Plus , the conversation swiftly switched to making juice from the flowers? Obviously to cover up the awkwardness.

1.) When XZ/WYB lived together, there was a video call where XZ answered. After the call connected, the XZ said WYB was changing clothes, and then sat on the sofa chatting gently with Brother Han. Brother Han asked how they were doing, and he said they were doing well, but XZ was feeling restless and kept urging him to hurry up with his changing.
During the video call, XZ noticed the younger brother was barefoot and scolded him, saying things like, "You're coughing and barefoot!" WYB immediately cowered and put on her shoes. Then XZ peeled an apple for him and poured him a cup of tea. After he finished drinking it, XZ refilled it, treating him like a son.
When filming officially started, XZ stepped out of the frame. Attentive viewers might notice that in that episode, WYB was bending down to put on hus slippers, and the water glass next to him was empty and then refilled. This was a deliberate mark left by the older brothers at the station, a tacit approval, a blessing, and a record of their relationship. The unedited original video, those with connections should have seen it.

2.) XZ is at least 185cm tall, so there's a noticeable height difference between them when they stand together. XZ is very humble and polite in public, but gives off a distant vibe. However, when WYB is around, XZ becomes very charming and gentle, extremely attentive to the younger one, clearly caring and loving him deeply.
He spoils WYB unconditionally, indulging him regardless of right or wrong. In the dressing room, when WYB was tired, he sat on Xz’s lap, and XZ held him in his arms. The staff at the station saw this but pretended not to see, collectively turning a blind eye and protecting the two of them.

3.) XZ isn't very good at comforting people. When comforting WYB, it's a mix of coaxing and scolding, like saying, "That's enough, that's enough!" WY immediately backs down and comforts themselves. WYB love is undisguised, but XZ seems more deeply involved. They watch WYB’s expression when speaking, seemingly unsure how to show affection, and revealing a strong fear of losing them, though they try to hide it, experienced people can tell.
Occasionally, XZ visits the station, and everyone knows it's to assert their dominance. WYB one rents an apartment near the broadcasting station, and the older one often comes to keep them company.
After work, Brother Han invites WYB over for dinner, and WYB usually eagerly goes to freeload. When the older one arrives, they'll say, "Brother's here! I made something delicious and I'm waiting for you!" Brother Han and Teacher Da tease them, saying they want to freeload, but WYB just chuckles, clearly not agreeing, only showing off, not wanting to share! Several older brothers at the station dote on WYB.

4.) During the time WYB was on the show "Day Day Up," XZ frequently visited the set, buying food and drinks for the staff and speaking in a family-like tone to thank them for taking care of the child. Actually, it was just to assert their dominance; WYB was very popular with other women at the time, and XZ felt insecure and was very nervous about WYB.
They would eat at the cafeteria together, and XZ, being a picky eater, would put the food they didn't like into WYB's bowl. WYB would pat XZ’s head, gently stroking their hair, and would also wipe the XZ's mouth with a tissue, completely without any attempt to hide their relationship.
If you argue with me that this is all fake, then don't believe me. Anyway, hundreds of people at Hunan TV have seen it; anyone with connections knows whether it's true or not.

5.) WYB’s family is very traditional. His father strongly disagreed after learning about it, and WYB is also very strong-willed; once he's made up his mind, he won't compromise. He put in a lot of effort to persuade his parents, and finally they agreed to meet the "outstanding" person their son described.
During a filming in Hainan, his parents went to visit him on set, arranged by WYB. We don't know exactly what they discussed, but they agreed after returning. Now, WYB’s parents favor XZ, and XZ’s parents favor WYB. Also, WYB's parents think their son has good taste and that XZ is better looking than their son.

some of these may border on the ‘burn after reading category’ so don’t take it too seriously. a lot of these are connections and “confirmations” of the state of xz and wyb’s relationship. please don’t ask me if any of this is real or what i think of any of it. i don’t have a particular opinion. i’m just taking this all in as fan fiction and some idle gossip.
1. 【Exploring The Unknown S2】
Hello, I have an aunt who immigrated to America a few years ago. She's a diving instructor there. Since WYB was filming ETU2 there, I asked my aunt if she had any friends participating. I just wanted to try my luck. But!!! I actually found one! A friend of hers (maybe) said that before filming, WYB was speaking Chinese in many videos. He (my friend) thought, "Why are you so enthusiastic?" and jokingly asked, "Is she your girlfriend?" WYB very seriously shook his head: "family." This friend was a little embarrassed because he just wanted to get closer to WYB, but he didn't expect Bo to deny it so seriously.
Then it was just a break or something, anyway. During the casual chat, it seemed like WYB was listening to a voice message (in Chinese). His friend said he couldn't understand it, but WYB’s expression was very serious with a slight smile. His friend said his expression was really "sacred" (or should I translate it as "devoted," )? Um, because it was relayed by several people, and my aunt doesn't speak Mandarin (she used Chaoshan dialect), so some interpretations might be different? Maybe, just for fun, don't take it too seriously.
[Finally, important: Our WYB was really praised a lot. My aunt's friend actually has some prejudice against Asian men (not discrimination), but he said, "WYB’s strength and courage really impress me," and expressed his admiration for Chinese youth (he really wants to understand young people like WYB).] I was originally thinking of holding off on posting this for a few years because I didn't know if it was a good idea. 2. Submissions & Connections
I have a friend and we've organized events together, participated in related filming, and he showed me his WeChat Moments during our time working together. Also, the fact that XZ was introduced to the talent show ( XFIRE ) by his mentor ( XZ and this ‘friend’ of OP has the same mentor/counselor in the school Youth League Committee ) is something I know. Although I'm a straight man and don't really understand, I've heard people around XZ talk about him and WYB, and he introduces his friends to others saying that *The Untamed* is his masterpiece, and he loves *The Untamed* so much.
3. Regarding the guy who posted the three blushing emojis of Wang Yibo on August 5th this year, he posted a long essay a long time ago (but he's someone who easily expresses his feelings and opinions) it seems he was talking about BX's future plans it took a very long time, I only remember one part, roughly that they both said they wanted to develop their careers in Hong Kong, but they don't have the ability yet. and they also wanted to adopt a child. If any sisters in the comments section have seen it and taken a screenshot, please share it, because I saw it in 2024, and I changed phones and all my records are gone, so I can't find the screenshot.

In our industry, we generally don't work until retirement; we probably retire around forty.
As for actors, it depends on their choices, but it seems very few people choose to pursue this profession to the very end.
I was chatting once, and we talked about what industries people would likely pursue after their careers ended. I heard a very unusual answer:
They said they wanted to open a bakery. I mentioned that Zhuhai's most famous bakery is Sweetheart Bakery. The handsome guy said he wanted to go to Hong Kong; he and his girlfriend wanted to immigrate there together.
I was puzzled—why are they both heading to Hong Kong? My ex-girlfriend went to Hong Kong too!
They said it's because there's less scrutiny there, less chance of being disturbed. They both like coastal cities, and they even mentioned their children's education. I don't understand what "children" means.
They're both young, but I think they've thought carefully about retiring; at least they didn't intend to work until the very end.
However, most people probably haven't considered this idea in the last decade. Without accumulating enough wealth to go to Hong Kong, it's like a beggar venturing into a wealthy area. Hong Kong is incredibly expensive; even a small apartment of a few dozen square meters costs nearly ten million. Sigh, it's not easy to make it in a wealthy area.
4. I was on a business trip in Shenzhen. Later, our project involved randomly selecting audience members offline to answer questions, and I was responsible for guiding them. I had to chat with them to prevent them from leaving. I met a girl, and when we chatted, she told me she had worked in the entertainment industry in Beijing for several years.
She told me some gossip, and I was just listening with a gossip-loving attitude. She also told me about a bag from an idol on a talent show, but I didn't delve into it because I didn't know much about it.

5. Although I became a fan in 2019 because I was working in the Chinese entertainment industry at the time, and many of my friends in that industry know it's true. However, recently, while studying abroad, I met a classmate who, one second, said it was my rival's (though she didn't admit it) because she was involved in a certain drama, and the next second said it was because her sister works at Tencent. It's really funny; other fans' statements are more convincing than mine as a fan.
6. Submission: Back in 2023, a friend who ran a social media account suddenly contacted me on WeChat, very excited, saying that the Bo Xiao was actually real! She was shocked. She said she thought everyone I shared on Weibo was just randomly shipping couples, until her friend, a minor celebrity, told her it was true, and that the younger brother was very attached to the older brother, haha. At the time, I was actually in a state of semi-retirement, having already known their relationship was stable, so I hadn't paid attention for a while. Recently, I've had some free time and came back to this, so I'm submitting this post. Although I haven't revealed much information, I think their stable and peaceful happiness is quite nice.
7. (Connections) My high school friend's older brother was a coordinator for the song "Year After Year" sung by Zhan Zhan. My friend suddenly messaged me saying her brother was involved in my idol's song, and sent me a screenshot of his WeChat Moments. Then I found out they'd been together for a long time (I can't post the chat history and Moments screenshots). I really want to share this!!!
8. My friend's older sister used to work in Guangzhou and had connections in the entertainment industry. She said that Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan (Bo Jun Yi Xiao) talked to her and could guarantee that they would definitely be together while they were working there. Because she no longer works there, she doesn't know their current situation, but a year ago they were definitely together.
9. On his birthday night, XZ got drunk and went to WYB’s house. XZ told WYB that he liked him himself. that was probably the first time he confessed.
10. I used to like them but didn't ship them as a couple. I read their posts, but I always thought it was impossible. Until two years ago, I had dinner with a former Douyin (TikTok) marketing manager who said they were actually together and had broken up. That's when I started to get hooked. He said they had dated before but broke up. But two days later, my teacher from Zhejiang University of Media and Communications told me that a friend of his told the staff of this program that BJYX was real. He saw the two of them on the program and their relationship seemed stable. Bobo is a little quiet, but very hardworking and ambitious. Another art exam teacher of mine, a former agent (I'll write down his name), also said bjyx is real.
12. (2023) This year, the older and younger brother were separated again for the Spring Festival. The older one went back to Chongqing for the holiday, while the younger one stayed in Shanghai for movie promotions. XZ flew to Shanghai to be with the younger one. The two of them had a fight, I don't know what it was about. (Wang Yibo was in a particularly bad mood those two days; apparently, he wore the same hoodie for several days in a row, didn't even want to do his makeup and styling, and after finishing his promotional activities, he didn't even look at his phone.)
In the dressing room at the Shanghai roadshow, Teacher Wang was on the phone with someone, and all I heard was, "Listen to me first." (Wang Yibo is really assertive; it seems like he's in the right.) Later, I don't know how they made up again. It's really obvious when they're fighting and when they're not.
After making up, Brother Bo would pick up his phone as soon as he finished work.
Who knows who's more clingy?
13. Okay, so let me tell you something. I can guarantee it now. An insider privately confirmed that they got together during the CQL era. The exact time is unknown, but the person confirmed that they suddenly discovered they were together during filming in Guizhou. And living together is true. Before they were so busy, XZ would stay at DD's house after work in Beijing.
With 2026 just around the corner, I have seen a lot of discussion of the date, and of turtle expectations. I have also seen a lot of confusion about it.
Here are my thoughts.
Background
So I'm going to give you a bit of background on where this is coming from and what turtles tend to believe about it. I will also give a bit of information about what it isn't about, because that's confusing for people as well.
2026 is a big deal for turtles and has been for many years. While the idea originated with a statement GG made in an interview, it was given significance by turtles and has grown from there ever since.
In 2019, GG was asked about marriage in an interview*. He replied by saying that he didn't plan to get married until he was 35.
*He was frequently asked questions like this back then because in that part of the world everybody is expected to get married and have children, and he was approaching the age where people start getting nagged about it.
BXG began to semi-jokingly say that meant that GG and DD would be getting married in 2026. From there it continued to grow and gain significance for most turtles.
Some BXG have even had astrological readings done to try to find out what GGDD's future might hold, and for years they've been claiming that 2026 is going to be a big year for GG and DD - for their shared lives and careers.
Some fans took it to literally mean that GG and DD are getting married in 2026, or that they're going to start collaborating again in 2026, but most just seem to treat it as a sweet date with no serious/real significance beyond celebrating the CP.
Taking it further
Some people have expanded the significance of 2026 to include other things, such as:
GG and DD will no longer be banned from being seen together
GG and DD will begin interacting publicly again
GG and DD will come out as gay and/or in a relationship
These sorts of ideas don't really have any connection with the original meaning of 2026, and they're based on fan assumptions and (in my opinion) a misunderstanding/lack of knowledge of GG and DD's life and career circumstances.
Much of this seems to have come from the story of what happened to the actors and characters from Addicted, and a lot of discussions about these things end up also touching on Addicted.
For those who do not know, Addicted is a controversial Chinese web series that was based on a BL story. It began airing in 2016 and only got a few episodes in before it was shut down by authorities due to the inclusion of underage characters, drug use, sexuality and criminality.
Many people believe that the banning of that series was what led to the heavy crackdown on LGBTQ content in China, but the crackdown predates Addicted and had been escalating in the years prior.
In the story the two characters are separated and promised to reconnect in 8 years. Some fans of the show made the same promise to the actors - they'd wait for them to be seen together in 8 years.
This led to some turtles extrapolating that onto GG and DD, and claiming that they were banned from interacting. The whole thing got intertwined with 2026, and people began saying that they weren't allowed to interact until then.
As I mentioned in a previous post, there are a lot of reasons why this just doesn't apply to GG and DD (and there's no proof that it applied to the Addicted actors either).
The Untamed was never banned, and in fact is still available (and popular) in China.
GG and DD appeared together publicly many times during promotion of the series, and they were seen on the same stage multiple times after the series finished airing.
There is no evidence that GG and DD are being 'forced apart' by external powers or official mandates. It's simply not in their best interests to be seen together publicly, for reasons I have discussed elsewhere.
So for those who believe that 2026 will mark the lifting of some sort of governmental 'ban' on any public interaction between GG and DD, this is unsubstantiated, is based on multiple assumptions and misconceptions and - in my view - is false.
Will they come out?
As for the likelihood of them coming out, I think it would be best for fans to rethink their expectations and understand the circumstances that GG and DD are under as stars in China. There is simply no likelihood whatsoever that they are going to come out about their relationship, or even about being gay/queer.
The industry in China trades on ideas of romantic availability, and that means that most stars, whether gay or straight, will hide their relationships to avoid losing fans and opportunities. It's unlikely that GG and DD will come out about their relationship as long as they want to maintain a career in the entertainment industry in China.
There are other reasons that it would likely not go well for them.
As two of the most popular stars in China, they are expected to uphold certain values and ideals. Coming out as gay could put them at risk of being perceived to be promoting or glamorizing homosexuality, of corrupting the youth, of going against the values the government wants to see promoted, and even of being the leaders of a subversive movement.
LGBTQ relationships are highly censored in Chinese media, therefore there's a likelihood that any story of them coming out would be suppressed or avoided by media to some extent. Especially if it started generating the kind of attention I suspect it might, and led to an upsurge in discussion of queer rights.
Any decision to come out would also have a massive ripple effect onto every project, endorsement and platform they have any association with, impacting the livelihood of potentially hundreds of people. There is no way either of them would ever do that. Not only do they have legal and business responsibilities, they also morally would not want to do something personal that would have a negative impact on others.
I talked about all of that in more detail in this post.
More than anything, GG and DD are individuals whose lives do not revolve around being gay or being in a relationship. It's highly unlikely they'd choose to derail their careers or take the focus away from their projects and achievements.
They have worked so hard to get where they are right now, there's no reason to believe they'll want to take the spotlight off of all of that and put it onto something that is very private between the two of them.
So anyone who thinks GG and DD will come out in 2026, hopefully this gives you a better understanding of why that's unlikely to happen.
What will happen?
In fact, it is unlikely that anything will change in 2026. I expect that we will get some candy, because I believe GG and DD care about turtles and they know how much 2026 means to us, but I don't think we can expect anything massive to happen.
DD's contract with Yuehua ends in 2026, and some fans believe/hope that he will join forces with GG and his studio. This is also unlikely, for reasons I discussed in this post.
If he doesn't renew with YH (and I doubt he will), it is more likely that he will go independent so he can have more control over his career and reap more benefits from the work that he does.
But this is totally unknowable and pointless to speculate too much about. I talked about that more in this post.
Will they get married?
Getting back to the roots of where this initially came from - the idea that GG wouldn't get married until he was 35 - do I think that GG and DD get married in 2026?
No.
I don't believe that will happen, because I believe they are already married.
Of course I don't have any earth-shattering 'secret proof' about it, it's just what I believe based on various factors. I'm not going to dig into that right now because this post is already a lot longer than I intended. You can read some of my past thoughts on their getting married here.
What does 2026 mean to me?
I see it as a beautiful fandom anniversary. A milestone if sorts. Something we have all reached together as turtles, where we can look back over the years and reminisce about everything that brought us here.
For years we've been talking about 2026, and it's finally just around the corner. Looking back, so much has changed and yet everything's stayed largely the same. We still love them as much as we did back then. More.
It's also a great opportunity to reflect on how far GG and DD have come in their lives and in their careers. How much they've grown as performers and as people.
A celebration of GG and DD, and of turtles.
Ultimately we don't yet know what's going to happen. Things might end up as I've outlined above, or they might not. We'll find out soon enough!
Regardless of what happens in 2026, I look forward to seeing more from them and their projects, and I think it's going to be a fun year to be a turtle because I suspect turtles are going to be very active and excited.

I also studied design; this alignment must be ingrained in my DNA.

from the banner alone, you can already tell a strong theme at the start of the month. only because ‘spying’ wrapped 9/30 and we had lots of content. so we had more ammunition for wei ruolai and ren shaobai. it’s so effortless how the characters match so well. 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻 even the place they shot the respective dramas is the same. so i’m sure the fan edits will be wild!

• there are some cpfs focusing on the fact that WYB took a picture + essentially supported the new creative directors of LOEWE - Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. they are in a relationship 🌈 & i understand why some are taking this as CPN. like how this shows WYB’s support to the 🏳️🌈 community. tho i personally think that WYB is the type of person that doesn’t care. he doesn’t look at someone’s standing or much less their gender, he will treat you as a person. and i think people forget that WYB is Loewe’s Global Brand Ambassador, so he will obviously show support to the new creatuve directors.

This seems to be new because the turtles over on the Chinese side have just picked up on it too.
Just so we're all on the same page, what happened was a turtle visiting a temple in Jinzhou found their names carved side by side on the donation wall
Just to confirm, yes, those are definitely their names. And according to information from Weibo, the wall was most likely carved in 2023 when the temple needed maintenance and restoration.
I would say that this was probably the work of a turtle, i.e. a turtle donated on their behalf, maybe as a joint donation to ensure their names would appear together? And this only came to light now because more turtles have started visiting Jinzhou perhaps. I'm also gonna say it's most likely not done by Yizhan themselves coz I can't really find any previous links between either XZ or Wyb with Jinzhou (that is, prior to this new medical drama currently being filmed there), so it would be odd for them to even know about this temple needing donations in the first place in 2023.
But I guess you can never fully rule it out until the turtle responsible comes forward and claims the donation 😂😂
Another fun thing to add. Some have also said it's fate, coz the temple is 1005 years old this year, the very same year that XZ has descended upon the city and brought the spotlight along with him 😆😆😆😆

They exist to share fake rumors in the fandom.
Do I think they could be coming from the same fake accounts/sources?
Anything's possible, but I think it's highly unlikely. There is just too much variety from too many different perspectives. I don't see any single source going to all that trouble.
And I don't think it's likely that everything is entirely invented, either (in fact we know for sure that some have been true). There's just as much incentive for real people to share real stories as there is for random people to invent fake ones.
Part of the original point of the fake rumor houses was to make it possible for people to safely share stories about things they'd witnessed, and some of the stories have proved to be true in one way or another (the 49 fake candies, for example), so we know at least some of them have been true.
The fandom has slowed down over the years, and there's not nearly the volume of fake rumors being shared anymore. I think a lot of people lost interest in the whole fake rumor thing. GG and DD's circle has also tightened, and they've reined in their behavior a lot. There are fewer chances for people to witness something they'd want to share.
The entertainment industry has become a lot more tense over the past few years as well. There are likely fewer people who feel comfortable sharing anything that could put anyone at risk.
Most of the candies people have been enjoying over the past couple of years have been things mined directly from material shared by GG and DD (his and his cameras, phone cases, hiking photos, etc.), or else material from leaks and verified sources (for example, the covid test rumor, the black barriers at GG's hotel in Mongolia, etc.).
Various things have shifted so that these rumors aren't flowing the way they used to, and that would obviously imply that there are fewer people out there who are sharing these stories - real or fake.
I think the people who would still care enough about this dying art form are those who actually have stories to share, or else those who might have a reason to keep the fandom interested. I talked about this a bit more a while back.
So, yeah, they could be totally invented fan fiction from industrious turtles who are trying to 'keep hope alive', but it's just as possible that some of the newer ones are real just as some of the older ones were.
We will likely never know for sure. I think that's the whole point of a lot of it, isn't it? To enjoy a mystery, and to safely get stories that couldn't otherwise be shared.
LRLG is a bit of a special case, though.
LRLG rumors come from the same account every time, and always have. This is denoted by a number in the bottom right hand corner of every rumor coming from the LRLG source. There are other rumors from the house that have used the 🔴🟢 format to show which speaker is GG and which is DD, but if they don't have the number in the corner, they did not come from LRLG.
Have there been more rumors this year?
No. If you go through the accounts you'll see that the output of all of them has been gradually slowing for years. This year has been slower than any other to date. LRLG is the exception to this, as they've submitted more this year than last year, but the rumor house itself hasn't been sharing rumors from any other source for quite a while.
And in case there's any confusion - the Boxiao Fake Rumor House is not LRLG. They are a rumor house that has shared a variety of rumors from (presumably) a variety of different sources, and LRLG is just one of the contributors (and in fact LRLG has been the only published* contributor there for years).
*It's possible that other materials have been submitted to them by other contributors, but not published.

No contest here. I love LRLG so of course I have to choose the Boxiao Fake Rumor House, as that's where the LRLG rumors have always been submitted.
