Tungabhadra River Ghat - Hampi. This ghat is just next to Virupaksha Temple. Hampi is derived from "Pampa" which is the original name of the Tungabhadra River. Almost all ancient heritage sites are found on the banks of river. These rivers are the source to the beginning of many civilizations and Empires. Hampi changed a lot in me, my perspective towards my history and culture is enlightened.
