I’m sorry to be that person, truly, but I am struggling a lot.  I’m in uni right now and can’t work because of my certain program and health issues.  I’m spending all my limited free time doing online surveys to earn a few pennies in an attempt to survive the next few months before I will be able to work again.

BREAKING! The police just arrested Alvin Cole & Jacob Blake's family!!

Tonight, October 8th 2020, the parents of Jacob Blake and Alvin Cole were arrested by the Wauwatosa Police Department for PROTESTING THEIR CHILDREN BEING SHOT BY THE POLICE!

Tracy, Taleavia and Tristiana Cole have all been arrested, as well as Jacob Blake Sr., there are also others that have been swept up for protesting the decision not to charge Officer Joseph Mensah for the murder of Alvin Cole.  

The officers threatened to use a taser on those in the crowd and Tracy Cole has seemingly had her arm broken. They also hit her in the head. On the livestreams, she could be heard her telling them her head is bleeding and the cops say “well, that’s too bad.”

Monsta X Reaction: Saying Something Hurtful to Their S/O

“I can’t believe this.  I leave you alone for five minutes and you make a giant mess.  Why can’t you clean up after yourself?”

Hyunwoo had already started picking up your things and straightening them, despite your protests that you weren’t actually making a mess, you just hadn’t had the chance to organize it yet.  You were moving some things back into your apartment after having stayed with a friend for a while, and things needed to be sorted a certain way.  But Hyunwoo wasn’t listening.

You left him alone to finish putting up your things and didn’t show him much reaction when he came up to you, instead turning away from his advances.  It hurt you as much as it hurt him, but you were upset that he had said those things, and that he hadn’t listened to you.

“I don’t like it.”

He was talking about your new shirt and, fine, okay, he doesn’t have to love everything you wear, but it still felt like a punch in the gut.  You had bought this outfit specifically because it made you feel like you looked nice and he had just made it feel cheap somehow.

You went back into your room and changed again, trying to push back the tears as you folded up your new clothes and buried them in your dresser.  Maybe you didn’t look that good in them after all.  You definitely wouldn’t be wearing them again for a while.

“Oh my god, you are so annoying!  Can you leave me alone for five seconds?!”

He turned and left the room, slamming the door on the way out.  You had been trying to talk to him about something serious, but he hadn’t been listening, too wrapped up in whatever was on his phone to really give you much attention.  You were now more than angry, you were furious.  You stormed to your front door and locked it, using the chain so he wouldn’t be able to get in with his key.  He would just have to find somewhere else to sleep tonight.  That would give him more than enough time to be away from you.

“Maybe I should just go flirt with someone else then.  How would you like that?”

He was jealous that you had been complimenting Wonho on his body.  You had been very polite about it, but apparently he had taken it the wrong way and blown up in front of the others.

You felt bad for the way you had acted.  You knew that he could get jealous sometimes and you hadn’t put yourself in check to make sure not to get him angry.  But afterwards, you just couldn’t help getting upset with him, too.  He shouldn’t have said those things to you, especially not in front of others, and he shouldn’t have gotten so jealous.  It’s like he doesn’t trust you at all.

“Why do you get so upset about everything?  You’re way too emotional.”

You had been upset about the amount of times he had blown you off to do something else in the past month.  It felt like every time you tried to get together, he made other plans on top of it and left you stranded.  On more than one occasion he had actually stood you up, not bothering to tell you what was going on.

But he flipped the blame around on you, and that hurt you more than anything.  You didn’t feel like you were in the wrong here for being upset, but he seemed to think it wasn’t that big a deal.  You stopped making plans after that and let him decide when he wanted to see you.

“I can’t stand you!  I don’t know why I ever agreed to this!”

You were in the middle of a fight, just another in the long line of ones you had been having lately.  It seemed everything made him mad, which made you mad, and you had always been a firm believer in communication.  It was just that this communication wasn’t really helping.

He had probably not meant it.  You had been happy once.  It had just been a long time since you both were in a good place and could focud on having a healthy relationship.

“Well you’re in luck.  I’m done here.”

“You just don’t understand.  I work harder than you!  I always have.”

He was invalidating you’re feelings now.  Okay.  That’s fine.  Two can play at this game.

Except you couldn’t.  You thought of a bunch of things to say that would make him feel as bad as you did right now, but you couldn’t bring yourself to say them.  Instead, you just left, closing the door softly on your way out.  You couldn’t understand how he could actually say something like that when you could barely bring yourself to think those things.

X1 Reaction: Another Member is Being Too Touchy but They Can’t Say Anything Because No One Knows You’re Dating

Seungwoo was watching as Seungyoun cuddled onto your lap, his head practically on your chest.  He was so frustrated that he couldn’t say anything because you were keeping your relationship a secret for a little while.  He had to rely on you saying you were uncomfortable, but you seemed to not even notice.

Until you glanced up and noticed that daggers Seungwoo was glaring into Seungyoun.  With a deep breath, you push Seungyoun off of you and, when he asked you what was wrong, you nodded towards Seungwoo, hoping he’d understand.  He sat up with a smirk and nodded.

“You better be careful, Seungwoo, or someone will snatch her up from under you.”

Seungyoun

Seungyoun put his tongue in his cheek as he walked a few steps behind you.  He would walk with you, but Hangyul was holding your hand and he knew that he couldn’t handle not saying anything.  You had requested to keep things under wraps for a while until you got used to it, wanting to avoid the members getting involved in the honeymoon phase, but he wasn’t very happy about it.

Your hand was warm in Hangyul’s, but it didn’t fit properly.  It was wrong somehow and you wanted to let go so you could hold Seungyoun’s instead.  But you had asked to keep it private, so you couldn’t be seen going to Seungyoun more than the others.  Still, you wanted to hold his hand a lot, so you slowed your step a bit and Hangyul let go on instinct, allowing you to move back to Seungyoun’s pace.  Hangyul grabbed Yohan’s hand instead and you could pretend it never happened.

“Please don’t hold his hand, jagi.  Only hold mine from now on.”

Wooseok

Wooseok was pissed.  Junho probably didn’t mean anything wrong by it, casually flirting with you to get the hang of asking out a woman, but it was still making his blood boil.  He was ready to start throwing punches, but he had to stay silent because he had been the one to ask to keep things private for a while. He just didn’t want any of his 19 members getting involved in your private lives.

When you turned away from Junho for a second to see how Wooseok was fairing, you noticed that his hands had curled into fists and glaring so hard you felt warmth on your skin.  You turned to Junho and whispered that he should stop.  When he asked why, you motioned towards Wooseok and explained.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!  I had no idea!  I’ll go practice with Eunsang instead.”

Yohan

Yohan got all pouty when he saw the way you were hanging off of Seungwoo, laughing with him and getting as close to him as possible.  When you had first started drinking, he was afraid that you would spill your secret about the two of you, but now, the results of a couple drinks were much worse.

You were trying to tell Seungwoo your secret, but he kept trying to push you away.  He seemed to not want to talk to you, and when Yohan got close to him, he basically put you into his arms.

“You need to be more careful, Yohan-ah.  She almost told me something I don’t think either of you want getting out just yet.”

Hangyul

Hangyul decided that, instead of getting jealous, he would tease you until you turned bright red.  Yohan was flirting with you nervously, trying to ask you out on a date, and you kept struggling to turn him down, too enamored by his puppy dog eyes to just say no out right.

Hangyul slid his arm around your shoulders and started teasing you mercilessly.  He wasn’t encouraging Yohan exactly, but he wasn’t doing a good job of deterring him.  You could feel your frustration rising until you didn’t know what to do, so you just turned and kissed Hangyul on the mouth to get him to shut up.  Yohan started stuttering even more.

“Oh, uh, sorry, I didn’t realize.  I’ll just... go then.”

Junho

He knew that he could trust you and he knew that he could trust his hyungs, but he still got scared when he saw Wooseok laughing with you and placing his hand on your thigh every few minutes.  He could tell that something was going on and he’d need to approach the problem soon.

You watched as Junho came up and asked to speak with Wooseok for a few moments.  You shared a knowing look and instantly could tell what he was planning.  They stepped only a few feet away, but they were whispering and you couldn’t hear them. When they were done, Wooseok bowed to him, turned and bowed you you, and then left.

“I told him about us.  He’s upset, because I think he really likes you.  I just hope he can get some closure.”

Dongpyo

It was obvious to everyone that Hyeongjun thought you were pretty.  Like, really pretty.  He would constantly compliment you and stare at you when you had your back turned and it was not convenient given that Dongpyo and you had started secretly dating a bit ago.

You knew that Hyeongjun liked you, but you hadn’t gotten the chance to let him down yet, too preoccupied with your new relationship.  You had hoped that Hyeongjun would eventually realize what was going on and drop it, but he didn’t seem that inclined to.  One day, while dressed in your old prom dress again, just to find out if it still fit, and Hyeongjun was practically drooling.  Dongpyo walked up to him and put an arm around his shoulder.

“My girlfriend is very beautiful, isn’t she.”

Minhee

The problem with Dongpyo is that he’s very touchy.  He always has been, as soon as he becomes close to someone, he gets clingy.  And he loves to scatter kisses all over your face and hair, holding you tight to his chest as he does so.  It was kind of adorable, except it left Minhee so mad.  It wasn’t fair that Dongpyo got to do this with you in public but he didn’t.

One day, Dongpyo was scattering kisses all over your face and he was getting dangerously close to you lips.  You needed to stop him, but you were too confused to really process what was happening around you.  Nothing really clicked until Minhee was yelling.

“Dongpyo!  Please don’t kiss my girlfriend!”

Eunsang

Eunsang got jealous very easily, so when he finds you and Dohyun cuddling on the couch, he feels like he has to step in immediately.  There’s nothing serious going on and no signs that Dohyun is having any thoughts about you, but he doesn’t want to lose you so easily.

Eunsang stands in front of you and Dohyun, blocking the television.  He reaches down to grab your hand and pulls you up off the couch.  Dohyun complains that he’s ruining the movie time, but he just growls in response, pulling you as close to himself as possible.

“She’s my girlfriend, so leave her alone”

Hyeongjun

Hyeongjun was constantly threatened by Eunsang because he knew that you found him attractive.  You had admitted that, if Hyeongjun hadn’t worked out, you would have gone for him.  So when he saw Eunsang flirting with you, he felt sad, like you would leave him soon.

You were just flustered by the way that Eunsang would watch you.  You knew that you should be moving on from him now that you were with Hyeongjun, but it still made your heart flutter when Eunsang would flirt with you casually.  But it needed to stop, and the way Hyeongjun was pouting on the couch right now made you say something.

“Eunsang, I need to tell you, me and Hyeongjun are dating. S o I need you to stop flirting with me.  Please.”

Dohyun

Dohyun, Minhee, and you were all hanging out, watching a movie or something.  When you excused yourself to go to the restroom, Minhee started talking about you.  He wasn’t saying bad things, but the way he said some things was making Dohyun uncomfortable.

On your way back, you heard Minhee say your name, so you stopped and listened.  Eavesdropping was bad, but you wanted to know where this was going.  Minhee said some things and you felt weird, but then Dohyun interrupted him.

“Minhee, please don’t talk about my girlfriend like that.”

You practically scream when Bambam texts you, telling you that he got caught behind a car accident and won’t be able to make it to the birthday party that’s starting in less than twenty minutes.  He has to give a statement to the police since he almost ran into the accident and it’ll be at least an hour before he can get back on the road.

Jaebeom had been leaning on you when you received the text, watching as the others moved around the room, waiting.  He had quickly backed away when you started cursing up a storm under your breath.  He started some conversation with Jinyoung just to make sure you had your space.

Yugyeom would be here in 12 minutes now.  11.  Ten…

The clock ticked by slowly and you regretted making this decision even more.  If you had just checked your calendar two years ago when you made these plans, you would have known that you couldn’t miss Yugyeom’s birthday.  Sure, you hadn’t even been dating at the time, but it was still an important date and you would have tried to reschedule.

But it’s too late now and your plane leaves in 8 hours.  Just long enough to have a small party, get in a good screw, and then you’d be off, missing his actual birthday entirely.

A party the evening before was the best you could do.  Well, that and breakfast in bed, lots of presents, and a nice, long lunch followed by a bunch more presents, one of which Yugyeom had had to take a raincheck on, saying he’d much rather wait until the time was right.  He was sweet like that.

Finally, the door opened and you flung yourself across the room, into his arms.

“Happy birthday!” everyone shouted around you.  You just let Yugyeom hold you tightly in your arms, pressing kisses to the top of your head and whispering how much he loves you and how glad he is that you did this for him.

After maybe two minutes of just standing there, everyone dispersed, turning on the television to play some game and cutting the cake.  But you kept holding on, not wanting to pull away because you knew you’d cry.

You had had a very long day and you just wanted to curl up in bed with the love of your life and never move.  Yugyeom seemed to understand because he didn’t press you, just moved you slightly so he could set his bag down next to the door and slide off his shoes.

Finally, though, he grabbed your shoulders and detached you, leaning down so he could be close to your face when he whispered.

“Are you okay, sweetheart?”

You shook your head and he sighed.  He wasn’t upset, he just wanted things to be perfect and they weren’t.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’m tired,” you whispered, turning to glance at everyone else.  They all seemed to be having so much fun and you were just exhausted.

“Look at me,” Yugyeom ordered softly.  You turned back and he was smiling.  “I know it’s been a lot - and I’m so grateful - but you didn’t have to do this.  Just one present would have been enough.  You need your rest.”

“But your birthday-” you argued.

He interrupted you with a scoff.  “My birthday comes every year.  And you’re going to be around for all the rest of them.  Just let this one pass, okay?  Let’s get you into bed.”

He led you from the room and tucked you into his bed, promising that he’d wake you in time for your flight.  He then left the room, probably to hang out with the other guests, but not without giving you a soft kiss on the forehead and telling you he loves you one more time.

Some Monsta X song is pouring through the speakers on your desk in the corner.  Your phone is plugged into it and playing from your playlist of horny songs.  The lyrics are going on about something that probably sounds sexy, but you’re not really listening.  You much prefer paying attention to the boy between your legs.

Jisung’s lips drag from yours across your cheek and below your jaw.  His hands are on your thighs, his fingers slipping into the holes in your jeans.  You gasp when you feel his teeth on your neck.  His hair tickles your nose and you pull back, giggling.

“Baby,” he groans, leaning forward to recapture your mouth with his own.  You could taste the laughter on his tongue and the eagerness on his lips.  It had been too long since you’d had any time together, just the two of you.

He hadn’t even said any words when he’d shown up, just pushed into your dorm room and kissed the hell out of you.  It had taken almost five minutes to get him to pull back so you could set up your music and hop onto the other desk that you didn’t use much.

Now he was kissing you like his life depended on it.  You heard the song switch over and briefly registered it as Seungmin’s voice, but Jisung was pushing into you, pulling you towards him with two hands on your thighs, and you didn’t care what Seungmin had to say.  You just wanted to be here, with your boyfriend.  And Seungmin was fucking ruining it.

And it wasn’t that you don’t like Seungmin or anything.  It was just that you had purposefully removed all of Stray Kids’ songs from this playlist when Jisung had first kissed you.  You didn’t want to be in this exact situation, where a Stray Kids song started playing and Jisung became uncomfortable.  But it’s too late now.  You just hope that Jisung is too consumed with the thought of you to pay it any attention.

You are, unfortunately, rather unlucky.  Jisung pulls away slowly and you open your eyes.  He’s staring blankly to the side, as if trying to remember why he knows this song.  You silently pray for your phone to die before he figures it out, but it betrays you and keeps playing, starting the chorus with Jisung’s own voice.

“Are we listening to Hellevator right now?”

He doesn’t seem uncomfortable or anything, so you laugh awkwardly.  “Sorry, Sungie…”  You don’t have anything else to say except sorry, so you just wait for his reaction.

He finally starts laughing once Chan’s voice takes up the chorus.  “This is ridiculous.”

He kisses you anyway, leaning in with as much enthusiasm as before.  Except, this time, he hums along to the music against you.  It’s weird and fun and comfortable and you let him lift you off the desk and wander towards the bed.  His arms barely strain to hold you up.

He drops you on the mattress and you bounce up, startled.  He climbs up onto the mattress next to you and leans down to kiss you.  He pulls away slightly and hums.  “You know what would be awesome to listen to right now?”

You pause and let him talk.  You’re not sure where he’s going with this, but he’d been so driven since he showed up out of the blue.  You might as well let him just do what he wants.

“We have this new album coming out soon.  Wanna listen to it?”

Chaewon would be all secretly jealous but she wouldn’t make a big deal out of it.  She’s really glad that you can be comfortable with all of her members, but she’d be kinda sulky for the rest of the day that you ended up laying in Suan’s lap instead of hers.  When you asked what was making her upset, she realized that she was being silly and just laughed it off

Karin

She’d be kinda upset as well, but she’d think it was silly to be jealous so she’d do everything she can to make sure you don’t think she’s upset.  She’d just strategically try and get you away from Hyejin and into her own space, cuddling into you to try and keep you from returning.  As long as everything went to plan, you wouldn’t even know anything had happened.

Hyejin

Hyejin would be completely chill.  She does not seem like the kind of person who gets jealous and she would absolutely not be mad when she finds you with an arm around Chaeyeon and her legs in your lap.  She just slides up next to you and lifts Chaeyeon’s feet into her lap and wraps herself around you as well.

Swan

Suan would definitely be jealous but would know it was stupid so she would try not to show it.  She just wanted you to always cuddle with her and she didn’t want you cuddling with other people when she was perfectly available with wiling arms prepped for hugs.  She would pout and mope and you’d have to confront her before you could actually figure out what was wrong.

ChaeY

Chaeyeon would be so jealous and so angry, but she knows that she loves you and doesn’t want her emotions to push you away.  So she’d be all flustered about it when she approaches you later and you’d have to reassure her that you love her too.  And after that, you’d be even closer to each other, knowing how to navigate negative emotions as well.

the pandemic is absolutely thriving in south asia. i’m not kidding. you might think the US is bad, but the situation in countries like india (which literally surpassed the US for the world’d highest single-day increase in cases) and nepal (which has seen a huge spike in cases recently) is genuinely reached horrible new highs. i have most of my extended family living in nepal, and they can’t go to the hospital for non-covid related issues. there’s barely any social distancing, around 250,000 people are homeless and have no access to proper sanitary resources, and everyone is terrified due to multiple conspiracies about the disease that are spreading like wildfire. the government is incompetent and has barely done anything to help people, and desperation is spreading. india is a bigger country with more resources, and is also suffering, but people in nepal, particularly the ones who live in slums or villages, are prime targets for the virus and will receive absolutely nothing from the government. if you are able, please donate to this fund to support children, particularly orphans, who have been left vulnerable by the effects of the pandemic in nepal. they need your help.
