I want to remind everyone of the injustice that was served in the Twilight movies when depicting Bella's engament ring. In the book, Bella's engament ring was described as "an extravagant Victorian inspired domed-oval shaped white gold ring, which is encrusted with rows of cubic zirconias." The ring given to us in the movies looks cheap, but when you look at rings that fit into the given description, you find beautiful, elegant rings:

Little Hobbies for the Cullens:
Esme thrifts and repairs antique furniture and sells even the most rare and expensive pieces for next to nothing, she's doing this for fun not for a profit (bonus, Carlisle looooooves going on thrifting dates with her).
Emmett does woodworking/carving (something his father taught him) and metal work. He mostly makes jewelry for Rosalie but will occasionally waltz into someone's room and toss them something he made for them out of the blue. He always takes metal/woodshop in school, just for fun, often acting like he has no idea what he's doing before building elaborate pieces.
Speaking of waltzing, he's a great dancer and takes Rose out often.
Jasper loves bookbinding and edge painting the pages, his work is detailed and beautiful. He's made Alice personalized copies of all of her favorite books. As a gift, he took all of the love letters Carlisle wrote for Esme and bound them in a beautiful book for her.
Alice doesn't just shop, she sews and upcycles clothing as well. Being rather tiny and having very particular tastes, she got in the habit of designing her clothing years and years ago and loves it! She also makes jewelry, handbags, and loves dramatic makeup looks.
Rosalie loves three things: fashion, flowers, and cars. She, of course, maintains the family's vehicles but also buys beater cars and repairs them for fun. Like Esme, she pretty much just gives them away. She loves shopping and vintage clothing, mixing modern and old fashion together, and has a little rose garden she keeps (Emmett helps in the garden but really just enjoys hiding in the flowers with her).
Carlisle collects artifacts but rarely of historical significance...it's just random stuff he likes! And though it is an odd collection, everything actually has a special meaning to him. He especially cherishes gifts from human friends long lost.
very random twilight thought: Esme always has a nook.
Just a cozy little nook she builds somewhere in the house and fills with little things...her favorite books, a little cd player + her favorite music, flowers Carlisle randomly picks for her on his walks, pictures of her family, embroidery + knitting supplies.
She just hides there for a bit and, if you neef to hide too, you're welcome to join her because there's just enough room for two.
I like to think that since vampires can see in the dark well that they have a tapetum lucidum, aka the part of the eye that reflects light and makes them shine in the dark.
Like imagine Bella looking out her window at night and just seeing Edward's two creepy glowing eyes in the tree.
