“I still can’t believe you decided to come to Alola with me, I thought you’d be busy with the Contest circuits and all that.” Not that Ash minded, in fact, he had been very pleased with the idea of her coming with him to the new region and glanced back at her. 

“Think it will be okay?” 

“I mean I was only ever there when I was little... But it sounds like it’s an exciting time!” she said, with a wary smile as she didn’t know exactly what to expect. Rafe couldn’t help but tease the girl, in a friendly manner as the smile stretched a cross his face. And stroked his chin. “But,” his stance changed slightly and eyed her. “You aren’t here for fun and laughs are you? So. What can I do ya for?” 

She hadn’t heard much about Ash’s father. He didn’t even know him that well, since he left when Ash was still very young. The descriptions seemed to match, and he had every resemblance to her boyfriend she could think of. She didn’t know what she would even start to think of asking.

For those of you unfortunate enough to want to use the kik account, bear with me as I relearn the Android keyboard. My daily driver is a 7 Plus, and I’m using a Galaxy J3 (compare to the S5) so my typing is a little dicey thanks to the smaller screen.

Ok... Concerning the finale, and I will be editing my blog shortly to reflect this...

My stance on this will be the following: Dawn is fully aware of the kiss and that it happened. (still haven’t watched it, just seen gifs. We’re not entirely sure what kiss it was but it’s enough to be a big deal) It’s not an ideal situation. I know I hate love triangles, but this just seems to be a trope nowadays. However it’s not really all that negative, as Ash and Dawn were not dating at the time. That comes after the events of the finale.

It does involve a choice on Ash’s part, and Dawn is too focused on her coordinating career to worry about it. She tells him to make the decision he feels is best for him, and not take her feelings into account, and that she will respect it, whatever the outcome.

In the end Dawn is Ash’s choice, and things continue as they did previously.

Amourshipping aside, can we appreciate Serena’s kiss from another point of view? 

We’re talking about a girl who couldn’t gain the courage to grab Ash’s hand during their first “date” and it was just two of them. And now we have Serena boldly giving Ash a kiss, initiating a physical contact seemingly indifferent to the presence of other people. 

I think the kiss, aside from the romantic value it holds, is also a great indicator of how much Serena has grown as a character and how much more bold, assertive and self-confident she has become.

but i’m still slightly bitter that pearl happened when it did, because it was still too risky for them to try something like this

However a single kiss =/= automatically mean a relationship. It’s a reciprocation of feelings, yes. But we still don’t know what the future holds
