Just watching some people crash out about lore and the comics and what is and isn't "canon"

I think the "Rule of Cool" is Canon aka if it's interesting and compelling and moves something in you it's valid

I’m literally so deepTM in my own stuff. Omega feels like an oc at this point, Terzo and others too. This excerpt from an interview with Tobias really stuck out to me:

I’ve mentioned that every time I’ve seen people fight over ghoul names, personality interpretations & physical traits of the papas, I thought to myself that someone like Tobias could not (respectfully) care less about stuff like this. He encourages that creativity.

I have people who ask me a lot about the lore, or they ask why I changed some stuff about the lore when I’ve mentioned it’s an AU. I mean all the art I’ve drawn of terzo, the papas and the ghouls are most definitely an AU. And I have fun with it!

I always don’t take the official ‘lore’ as gospel because then I would feel limited in my creativity

Anyways I gotta go, my Terzo & Omega married and happily retired in Italy daydreams are waiting for me. ✨✌️

Ok I was thinking of reading the sister imperator comics because my autism was compelling me, but now that I've seen a few reactions from ghesties online I don't think I will 😭

Like what do you mean the satanist church is all fake and it's just for entertainment? That's so lame, and I think it ruins the entire lore.

Like ok, it being born as a circus is fine I guess, but it's so much more interesting that it's a real satanist church with real ghouls.

But the worst crime of all is that the papas have blue eyes now, and I won't accept it.

I'm slightly late to this, but regarding the no phone rule at rituals discourse I can see both sides of the argument. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to a Skeletour ritual, and I have to say that I enjoyed the absence of phones during the concert. All concerts I've been to I've always had phones blocking my view, both in the pit and in seated positions (obviously it was worse in the pit tho), but also the more time passes from the ritual the more my memories of it become a blur, even tho it was the best concert I've been to.

I've seen a bunch of people say that the band should hire people to record and upload some clips of the concerts, and I wholeheartedly agree! I think this would make both parties happy and people would have content outside of rituals like we did with the other papas and this would keep the fandom alive and garner more interest in Perpetua as a character!

However I do think that the people that say they don't care about or are losing interest in Ghost because they aren't getting clips from the concerts are a bit spoiled....

Honestly I really like Perpetua, but I hope Tobias does something interesting with him and doesn't limit him to just being Copia's brother.

Copia is unique compared to the other papas because he's the only one that went through cardinal status first and then became papa, all the other ones didn't go through anything like that, they appeared as papas.

Obviously Tobias can't do the cardinal thing again at this point, and if he did it would make Copia not unique anymore, but he can come up with something unique for Perpetua for sure! There are a ton of possibilities.
