The concept art of fan children from my YuuOC, Mikiya and Leona Kingscholar. I made this a bit ago so my style is a bit wack, but I plan to refine their designs soon. Just wanted to post something because I haven't posted for a while and I wanted to post anything to prove that I'm alive.
Ill explain more of the twin thing when the officialized designs come out, but there is a lot of lore behind these too.

Fortunately enough, bells ring when a group of students get invited to Noble Bell College to attend their Arcane Academy Social . So with the help of her favorite obnoxious cat she is invited to go along with them, being able to once again live ‘normally’ and oddly not feel left out when she intentionally befriends the school House warden, Rollo Flamme who quickly catches on that she is a girl, however, doesn't treat her any differently than they had before. What she really wanted. However good things can't always last can they?
Authors Note:
I'm sorry but this chapter is going to be a bit more on script at that because I need to add some of the tension between Deuce and Kiya and hint a bit more at Rollo and Kiya Crushing on each other. I tried to add, change, and edit some of the things in the story, but if it just feels like your reading straight from the event I am so sorry. Chapter 4 is going to have much more original content sense it will focus more on Kiya's gender dysphoria and the relationship of Rollo and Kiya

Chapter Summary:
Kiya thought that this trip would be her escape when one of the people she remembered said that one of the people who she was trying to ignore was on the trip. Now she has to try and make the most of the trip without souring her own mood.
“WEEEE FOOD TRIP!” Grim flew around in the air with his luggage, looping around in excitement.
Kiya chucked at him a bit “Hey, slow down buddy before you run straight into the wall”
For the first time in weeks Kiya was smiling to herself. Excited to see what is in store on this at the city of Flowers. The night after Crowley had given the news to her she packed her stuff as quickly as she could and before going to bed she decided to take a small trip back to the school before the library closed, pick up a book and did a bit of research on both the Noble Belle College and the City of Flowers..
She was fascinated by all the drawings of the architecture. Getting detailed descriptions of the stained glass windows that hung in many of the city's buildings. Even being able to confirm that the intelligence Crowley spoke of was correct as many popular scholars of the twisted universe came from that very school. However, before getting more into the sections of the city’s magical understanding she fell asleep halfway through the gigantic book before getting to anything that could correlate to her situation. Oh, well. Means more time to read during the trip.
Now while grim swooped up to the mirror chambers Kiya distracts herself of all the possible things she could do there. Especially without—
“What are you doing here, Grim?!”
She froze the moment she realized whose voice that was. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to finish going up the stairs but unfortunately she didn't have a choice when she heard the voice of Crowley call out to her.
“Ah there you are! I almost thought you weren't taking my generosity seriously!” He damn near yanks Kiya near the mirror room as he reintroduces her to the familiar faces.
“I–” Kiya stammers trying to make out words for a conversation she wasn't really sure she was about to start. However it luckily never came as Crowley speaks over her with no regards of her own.
“Yes, Miss Glessel will be joining you all on this trip under my request and the permission of the Noble Bell College themselves. Isn't that exciting!”
Kiya could not stop focusing on Deuce while everyone else scrambled in annoyance in confusion. She didn't blame them because honestly Grim himself is a handful but they probably think a magicless loser going to a prestigious school full of magic was a joke.
Deuce looked at her with a gobsmacked expression while the others squawked at Crowley about the situation. She didn’t even know how to respond herself because, truth be told, she wasn’t even mad at Deuce compared to the others. There were definitely things he should be held accountable for and things that were annoying her in that very moment but compared to Ace and Jack he didn’t have much that he needed to apologize for. Her emotions made her feel awkward and she simply wished that she could figure out what to do and say so that she could enjoy this trip she was so excited to attend in the first place.
She is quickly brought back to reality when Crowley claps his hands to get everyone's attention.
“Listen, I know you all are confused, but there is a reason that she is coming with you. You see, visiting a restricted area could provide them with some clues about parallel dimensions!”
“Parallel Dimensions?" Epel was slightly intrigued by this information as he listened to what Crowley had to say.
“Wait, don't tell me!...” Deuce was nearly in disgust hearing that statement. She wasn't sure as she would think that he would be a little interested in seeing a possible way home for someone who is considered fragile here but sadly she wasn't shocked that even now he is happy for her even here. Though she expected this more from Ace then Deuce.
“No, I see” She hears Azul start “By using Mikiya as an excuse, he rid himself of the source of his annoyance in the process. Cleaver but typical”
Our Headmaster’s a lost cause…” Jamil rubs his temples as he realizes himself. Not even on a trip where he isn't Kalim's babysitter could he find peace from chaos.
However Idia is more thrilled by this factor “ Honest this is a win for me” He exclaimed the most excited she’s ever seen him “Mr. Fluffy will help comfort us! He’s totally welcome at my party!”
Kiya is slightly delighted to hear Idia says that. Though Grim is a handful she enjoys that at least someone out there enjoys his striking personality.
“ I…” Kiya could tell Deuce was debating on whether or not to say anything but he continued “dunno about the whole fluffy thing, but… I’m happy that we get to go with Mikki, too!” He smiles but it is very cheap. It's clear that he is trying to be the bigger person here and make the most of their situation. This makes Kiya smile slightly and nod with a hmm.
“Oh, quel délice! This is a great opportunity to learn about Twisted Wonderland. Let us learn and enjoy ourselves together!”
Everyone agreed and with high spirits. Things seem to be on calm foot for now. However things slightly shift in mood when they were told that Trein was going to be their parental guide for the trip. Kiya was perfectly fine as she always enjoyed his class and actually had a good grade in it. One of the rare classes where she can show her natural skills and not feel like an idiot. Though everyone else is rather skittish about the information. Even those who do well in his class. Seems that were possible hoping for more freedom on this trip than intended. Well, at least she gets an information guide. Hopefully he could help with finding out where to get more information about dimensional magic.
As the bickering started and ended they eventually made it to the mirror and started their trip to a place they could have never imagined burning as fast as a flame could get.
When they all had appeared into the Noble Bell College Lecture Hall they were quickly introduced to the beautiful stained glass windows. Kiya was amazed. She thought Night Raven College was an amazing structured building but Noble Bell was definitely something special. The colors of the light reflected on the glass on to her skin like the sun and the perfectly carved stone complemented it so. It didn't even come close to how it was described in the books and it made her even grateful to be able to see it in person. She was so distracted by the beauty of their architecture she got startled when she heard an unwanted voice.
“Mikki, listen. I know that things were bad at the school, but just for the trip let me–”
Kiya clutches her teeth and is quick to interrupt “No, you listen. I'm not ‘letting you’ do nothing. Mind your business and don’t talk to me for the rest of the–”
“Welcome to Noble Bell College, students from Night Raven. We have been expecting you”
That made Kiya’s mind step out of the conversation and look away from the direction of the windows and more toward the front of the school. There she sees a boy with a detailed and inspired uniform based off of an official regalia attire. His hair was a clean cut that was slightly covered by the hat that parched so perfectly on him. Kiya was oddly intrigued by his look. He was almost as pale as Vil and everything about him was so clean. Kiya could not understand herself but despite him looking like a ghostly, hunting, statue, she was captivated by him with looks alone.
“That uniform… Could you be the aforementioned Student Council President?” Trein asked politely.
The boy gesture does not move, almost looking statue-like, putting off most of the students, especially when he responds to Trein's question.
“Yes, my name is Rollo Flamme. I serve as Noble Bell College’s Student Council President”
Riddle was quick to respond to his introduction noting the difference between the schools as their leaders were put as student council as they did not have individual dorms compared to Night Raven whose housewardens be the leads of their specific dorms and rules. Which is quite interesting to consider as that would mean that every rule, every event, every problem had to go to and through Rollo and whoever was their headmaster.
They continue to speak as they head towards the courtyard.
“Gee, does he smile much?” Epel whispers behind her as she looks back a bit to look at him and respond to his comment.
“Yeah, he is pretty strange” She smirks a bit “Reminds me of a certain housewarden we know” Epel snickers a bit having Kiya chuckle to herself. However they both fall silent when they hear Trein clear his throat and glare at them. This causes Epel to clutch his teeth in silence and Kiya smiles in embarrassment. Kiya was getting ready to apologize but the moment she lays eyes on Rollo again she notices a temporary light flicker in his eyes as he lays them on her. However it was so small she almost didn't catch it. She starts questioning if she imagined it to begin
“You…” Rollo trails off for a moment “My apologies but may I ask for your name?”
Kiya, having her words stuck in her throat trying to recover from him but Grim chimes in before she could
“I am the Great Grim! Future Great Mage!” Grim boasted long and proudly. Rollo does not respond as if he did not even hear him and continues to directly look at Kiya. Clearing her throat with a blush on her face she finally speaks her name.
“My name is Mikiya, Mikiya Glessel. It's nice to meet you”
“Ah!” Rollo voice signs that he finally clicked something together “you are the students Master Crowley mentioned. He notes that you weren't of magical descent, so forgive me for being confused for a moment. I didn’t know you had a familiar despite that”
A pause was met as she squinted at his words ‘Familiar?’ She thought. Then she quickly put two-and-two together and realized what he had said.
“Haha, oh no, Grims not!--” As if on cue she felt the small amount of heat radiate off of Grim and his firing tail spark a bit.
“WAH! Are you talking about me!?” Grim was utterly baffled by Rollos assumption “ It’s the other way around mister! I’m her boss!”
“Yes and what a reliable partner you have” Kiya could nearly feel Rollo sarcasm in a physical form. She could tell he was annoyed by Grims boasting but not too much that it would ruin his sophisticated status, which amused Kiya.
“I'm sorry about that,” Kiya chuckles “But like he said, he is his own thing. We might be a package deal but he is no familiar of mine”
“Oh, my apologies then” Rollo says, no hint of sarcasm met this time. Taking her words with a genuine taste.
Stepping closer to her, Rollo begins having a conversation directly with her, making even Azul notice a change in mood. “Lady Glessel” He says softly, hands on his chest as if it was a confessional “ regardless of such, I know it must be hard being surrounded by mages day in and day out. Please, feel free to relax to your heart’s content here in the City of Flowers” The spark she saw again was visible again, much longer now for her to realize that she didn't imagine it. However his eyes darken once again when someone mimicking a clearing throat was heard behind them. “Oh yes, The invitation extends to everyone, of course… I hope you enjoy the cultural exchange”
They continue to go about the courtyard where the first thing they are introduced to is a statue. Just like the ones at NRC It was made with an enriching stone, However, just like the school, the statue was much more highly detailed than NRC. Rollo tells them that they call him “The Righteous Judge”. Apparently with Riddle chiming in he is one of Twist's most greatest historical men. He was a man with excellent judgement and not once was he ever wrong in any of them. He is believed to live in the City of Flowers once and due to his historical significance he is highly recognized at the Noble Bell College. Kiya remembers learning a bit about him in class and in the book she careers around at that very moment. She felt like she could resonate with him as just like her he was no man of magic, however he was still able to have a powerful present and have people admire him. Made her wonder if, regardless of being magicless, he possibly had answers to her own situation…
Her thoughts are disrupted once she hears a loud but deep ring hover amongst the entire city. It had everyone chattering amongst each other, confused by the startling sound.
“Bells?” Kiya softly questions. Mostly speaking to herself and not expecting her to hear. Malleus was quick to prove her wrong as he specified her question more loudly and more clearly.
“Church Bells I presume?”
Kiya slightly walks to Malleus' direction, realizing a small sparkle in his eyes. She couldn’t think of what could make Malleus interested in bells. Maybe it reminded him of home. Or maybe even the prince of Faes was pleased by the sound like the others were.
“Of course” Rollo responded with no hesitation “It’s quite an important magical device that’s been handed down our school for generations.”
Malleus and Trein continued to compare it to the magic mirror at Night Raven both having a sort of cultural significance, However Kiya was not sure it was a fair comparison with how the mirror operated for a single school compared to the Bell that was responsible for an entire city.
Rollo gladly (Well, that's what Kiya assumes) shows them the Bell Tower after everyone showed interest . Making the trip up the stairs was an understatement. Kiya isn't an athletic one herself. She tries, of course, but it's still not her forte. Especially when it comes to hiking level activities. So once she made it up the stairs she felt like she ran several marathons. However, she somehow seemed less out of breath than Idia and Azul who were complaining about the like of modern technology and wanting to use magical means of traveling up. The magic bit Kiya could almost see a scrunch of the nose from Rollo. She chalks it up as him being annoyed by their complaints more than anything. Regardless he apologizes for the lack of other means of getting to the bell tower.
When finally making it up the tower she is slightly confused at first. It looked much like an Attic in a country style home. It looked like someone lived there at some point as it was decorated like a mini apartment. However Rollo does not mention it and leads them to another set of stairs. Well, not really stairs but ladders that functioned like stairs, and they were short and easier to go up. There they climbed and were automatically met with a beautiful view of the sunlight and the glistening of the gold church bell. She was not hesitant to voice it either.
“Oh, now that is beautiful”
“Yes, it is breath-taking. We have church bells in the Valley, but nothing as grand as this.” Malleus piggybacks off her compliments and continues as he chuckles at his own thoughts “ I believe such a bell’s toll is capable of waking even a slumbering Silver.”
Silver blushes a bit but not a bit noticeable as he agrees with Malleus' observation. Both Ruggie and Rook quickly point out the gold of the bell as Ruggie mentions how much this would sell, Making Riddle chuckle for once at his comment. Probably because, it was not a shock that Ruggie would bring up money, even in a situation where they were supposed to be enjoying each other's company without mentioning any sort of work.
“I am very glad to know that you could feel its grandeur as well.” Rollo chuckles at everyone's amazement of the bell, showing the first somewhat smile since the got there “However, the Bell of Salvation’s worth lies not in its beauty”
The last comment had everyone amazed, voicing a “really” from some of them as he nodded. From there he tells the story of the bell.
The bell holds its own magical energy that helps protect the town. It was believed that the bell helped protect the city when it was hit with ‘calamity’ as Rollo put it. The name of an incident that occurred in the city centuries ago that gave the “Ball of Salvation” its name.
This made everyone intrigued. The Magic Mirror does not have much of this ability. Not that anyone knew of any way. It could only take people home and take people to the school. Its ‘protection’ is nonexistent information and if it did have that ability it does a very poor job at doing so with all the overblots that have occurred over the years.
Walking over to the ledge of the bell tower her eyes widened at the height. Everyone looked like dots from that view. It was so high up she could barely see the city itself. Apparently her action intrigued everyone else as Rook slid right beside her and cheered his own fascination alongside her.
“Incroyable!” Rook exclaimed. It made Kiya smile a bit as his behavior reminded him of an excited puppy Hair floating from the freshly cut wind “You can see the whole city from here. What a truly beautiful scene!”
They both notice the river cutting to the city, cutting off Noble Bell college from the rest of the city. An odd
"It's called the Soleil River” Rollo chimes in “It’s part of a larger body of water. Four bridges connect our school to the rest of the city. This beautiful scenery is but one of the City of Flowers’ crowning glories”
“That's amazing!” Kiya exclaimed “Its so fitting, you must be proud to go to such a school with such a rich history”
She smiles at him as his eyes widen at her complement. Clearing his throat, he takes his hand to hide a faint blush. Not prepared by direct eye contact compliment.
“But of course, both the city and its heart is made with the hands of the city's people and can not be replicated in the modern era. It should be complimented for such, because of that”
Kiya hums at him and turns to Rook, however, she raises her eyebrows once she does as Rook's eyes were showing that of wonder as he looks directly at him. See, she doesn't know much about Rook, but she knows the look of the face of someone who knows something she doesn't. Regardless, she is interrupted before what can escape her and everyone's attention changes when Malleus, Silver, Sebek, and Azul get intrigued by statues. Mikiya starts to realize what the shine in Malleus' eyes were for and she realizes that she was about to get an extra (unwanted) listen about Grotesques and Gargoles.
Despite this, Kiya enjoyed this segment of her trip, but slightly started to ponder on Rollo's behavior and Rook's look. She would make a note to pester Rook about it later, but Rook is also not one to hide secrets that don’t need to be hidden. So she might end up getting a conversation later. For now she must see if she can get Rollo to allow her to adventure in their city's library.

YAY, FIRST ASK
to answer this, the first one is the fact he is truthful.
Well, truthful when giving unsolicited opinions are asked for advice. Feelings wise he sucks with that. Both before and during their relationship.
For many that is a turn off because Leona is not just truthful, but he is also blunt and rude about it. He also is one to tell the truth and gives advice when he deems necessary. However Kiya appreciates that factor about him. They'd rather be with a blunt truth teller than a liar and Leona isn't anyone's caretaker, especially theirs.
Of course Kiya, like many, didn't like this feature about him at first. During things like the Octavinelle arc this personality was dreadful to experience and they took any chance to antagonize him over it. However as they grew closer Kiya started to realize more that its a more endearing trait of his, especially when she gets to know him better, and that it works much better when you're in the friendship and/or lover status than when your enemies/acquaintances. In those positions you can understand more and honestly, he might be a little bit nicer, but that's like going from 1% to 5%.
He also is good at comforting. They start catching feelings for each other during Kiya's hidden identity arc. Don't want to go to deep because I'm going to write a story about this eventually but to sum it they were being blackmailed to work for Ruggie, some of the work involved Leona, Leona and Kiya start talking, and they start genuinely hanging (despite what Leona would call it).
One night when Kiya was stressed out, and despite that still coming over to the Savanna Claw dorm, Kiya's attitude was sour, more sour than usual. They argued because of course, don't get an attitude with Leona Kingscholar. He'll shut you down quickly and it resulted in her venting to him aggressively and eventually breaking down into tears . Oddly enough he wasn't awkward. No emotions were really shown on his face. He kind of just let her cry, untouched Until she couldn't cry anymore and when she done Leona slowly lays them on the bed. He neatly covers them in his blanket with him included and the only thing he tells them for the rest of the night was "sleep" which they tried. At first it was weird. It was silent with only the Savanna birds chirping outside his window. Leona was facing directly towards them so Kiya was too afraid to open their eyes again, sitting there in discomfort as they heard him breathing In front of them.
However they eventually start hearing something else. It was like a humming sound. It wasn't a purr at all, don't think lions do, it was a willing sound. It almost sounded like a song but she couldn't really make it out because it was humming so softly and it was more airy than it should be. Regardless, it was comforting . She also started noticing a new small kicking in. It had a cedar smell. A nice campfire aura that reminded her of home a bit. It got her to sleep that night and ever since that night, when she would sleep in Leona's room willingly, or accidently, she would hear and smell those two things.
She didn't know where it came from originally but once they get more romantic she eventually finds out it's from Leona. Apparently some beast-men can do this but not all. It carries on into their romantic lives with the edition of body holding and face smooshing. She never has nightmares around him and his comforting tactics change her brain chemistry for the rest of her life with him.
Anyway, sorry for the long response. Needed to info dump this some were and this specific information been in the drafts for months.

Chapter Summary:This takes place before the actual main chapter so Fresh new plot!
Kiya ends up having a bad morning when one of the Heartslabyul boys tries to ask her out. Unfortunately that scene ends up making her see more of her reality and ends up ruining her entire day. Lucky her dragon friend ends up curing her night and making her think more about her Identity at night Raven Academy.
Saying her friends didn’t treat her differently than before is an understatement. Once able to join them in all their shenanigans, Kiya quickly became an outcast to the people who she thought cared about her the most. Well, they still care about her, but differently.
She is now treated like untouchable glass . Hearing a lot of ”Careful now!”s as she walks down the stairs, having their hand hovering over her body like a shield, and a few “Watch it!” as she turns on the burner of a stove, quickly lighting an unusually bigger flame than it ended. Things that they didn’t bother to do before, but now that they know she is a ‘she’ and not a ‘he’ it's been difficult and stressful. Sometimes it made her wish it was still a secret between her and Leona. It's hard to believe sometimes that it was better to keep a secret with the school sleeping bug than with her own friends, but here she is. Literally, here she is getting asked out by another rando she never met.
“Hey, miss Glessel!” a tall boy jumps in front of her making her jolt at the sudden interruption of her walk. “Sorry, just–” Quickly a card and bouquets meet hands which she is forced to take in hand. “I know this is sudden but I think you're pretty, like– really pretty and I wanted to let you know that I really like you and I want to take you out on a date! Maybe to Octavinelle Longue? ” her gulps nervously rubbing the back of his head.
It almost makes her feel a bit bad rejecting him but at the end of the day she knew this was just another teen boy deprived of seeing no girls at an all boy school. He liked the idea of her which was no shocker when he barely knew her in the first place.
“Listen–” Kiya tries to think of the correct words to let him down gently, nearly crushing the card in her hand “I'm flattered, really. But I'm going to have to decline your offer. It's nothing serious just…” She looks at his arm band, quick to see he is from the Heartslabyul dorm “--uuuuh, I think your dorm leader wouldn't appreciate you going behind his back and dating another student when its against his rules and I would hate for you to get in trouble, you know?” There is a silent meeting. The boy doesn't really react, matter of fact he is very unreadable. It makes Kiya nervous so she does what she’s familiar with. Leaving a situation.
“Sorry I have to go to class or I'll be marked up again. You probably know how it is–”
He aggressively grabs her arm which makes her freeze. Fear is the best way she could describe the feeling as she realized at this point she has nowhere to go when this boy’s iron grip cut off any form of escape that she was able to have.
“Wait now, if you're worried about that he doesn't have to know!” he sounds desperate “common give me a chance huh? We can keep it a secret from the others if you like–”
The boy doesn't even get to finish what he says before getting shoved into a wall. Who is the culprit? Well the only white hair wolf boy that towers over everyone like a door.
“Hey!” the boy quickly retaliates, growling while he is at it “what's your problem!” Jack quickly slams his hand over the boys and drags his nails against the wall.
“Watch your tone” was all that was said however the boy gets the message and quickly skedaddles the opposite direction of where Jack's arm was blocking him. The boy starts to mumble, but the words “selfish” and the phrase “All to himself” could be heard clearly. It made Kiya’s stomach turn. Is that all they see her as? Her friend's property?
“Hey… uhhh… ya good?” Jack rubs the back of his neck as if he did not show the most fierce act of dominance to another boy. Sometimes she forgets how scary he truly can be. Probably a good thing though.
“No, no. I'm fine. Just– didn’t think he was going to grab me like that”
“You shouldn’t have, nobody should have to experience something like that. Especially someone like you”
A frown quickly came to Kiya’s face “What is that supposed to mean?”
He quickly realizes what he says and starts to jitter and stutter “I-I mean, because you're human- I mean because you're small– I mean–” he has a hard time trying to find an excuse. Kiya quickly cuts him off though, making him more surprised than before.
“No, I get it. It's because I'm a girl right?” Kiya sharply replies. She didn’t intend to sound so rude. However she knew what he meant.
“No, It's not that! It's just– your different, your very different”
“Different as in I'm a human girl with no powers? Be serious Jack, you know that's what it is”
“ Mikiya…” He pauses, not being able to say anything. Just show an expression of shame. She was right and he couldn't even be bothered to prove her wrong.
This makes her frown even more. Fist balling up. If she was a steaming tea kettle, smoke would be coming out her ears and her eyes redder than a tomato because nothing made her more furious in this moment than being proven right.
“Ah, you know what–” She could almost hear her voice evaluate. “It's funny how before you guys found out I was a girl that you never brought up ‘not having powers’ or ‘being human’. It really shows what kind of people you guys are!” she then stomps off from a dumb founded jack whose ears were still down from shame and tail drooped. She could hear him try and call out for her but it felt low effort. Almost like he knew how bad he looked.
For the rest of the day she doesn't really speak to anyone. She sees text from Ace and Deuce who seemed to be spamming her phone but she doesn't actually read what they typed. Matter of fact after getting in trouble in one of her classes for even putting it on vibrate she ends up blocking them for the day.
She assumes that Jack told them what was going on and possibly felt they needed to talk to her. However she didn’t want to see or hear it as 1) she knows they are going to try and apologize, not because they realized what they were doing, but because they didn’t want her mad at them and 2) because she emotionally could not deal with them today. With the anxiety of this morning with the Heartslabyul boy and then Jack confirming her insecurities she rather just have the day end so she can sleep off the stress and anger.
So now here she was, at home, in her pajamas, trying to blank her mind. However that morning continues to play in her head, making her realize that even in a fantasy world full of magic and fun things, she still feels lesser. She wasn’t even scared to say that it was worse than she did in her own world. Squinting and rolling her bed. She finally grunts aggressively and shoots out of her bed. She is partially glad that her cat roommate sleeps like a rock. Aggressively getting up and out the dorm door, walking to the kitchen and making herself a calm warming Chamomile tea. It of course takes a while as Kiya hears the tea kettle whistle in the night but once it is done she does not hesitate to pour the scorching hot tea in the mug. A mug that she quickly remembered that Deuce got after going home for winter vacation. It almost made her smile until she remembered why she wasn't speaking to him in the first place.
Walking to a nearby window she thinks about the situation for the umptenth time. With the mug and replaying the situation she starts to wonder if it was wrong to be this mad at them. The boys weren't doing anything wrong. She got revealed in front of the entire school to be a girl and sadly not all boys have the brain cells to go “hey, maybe don’t harass and scare the only girl in the school!”, hell, if it wasn't for Jack that morning she would of been in Sevens knows what kind of situation. However she still frowns when she realizes that it wasn't really them protecting her from the weirdos that upset her, but the fact that after finding out she was a girl that she was outcasted by people she cared about. It made her wonder if they even considered her a friend anymore and more like a burden as now they feel they need to protect the only girl in the entire school. It makes her feel off realizing that her only form of normal conversation for the past month has been with a talking, magic cat who just wants to eat, sleep, and ego drop her. Makes her feel like that, at that moment, she should just left despite what Crowley suggested.
Pressing her head against the window she bites her own lip to not cry. It's strange to be honest, she always has her supposed friends around her but somehow she feels more alone than she did when she started going to the school. Knocked out her thoughts from a stray tree branch she quickly looks up and sees a figure, a familiar figure. The dragon prince himself, Malleus Draconia.
For some reason that makes her excited. Maybe it was the excitement from being deprived of conversation, or maybe it was the factor that the oddness of the man gave her something fresh to talk about. Whichever she was, she knew she wanted to talk to him, so quickly she runs to the kitchen finding another mug, fills it with tea, stuffs her robe pockets with sugar and honey packets and quickly walks out the door.
She bites back a snicker in the process. It oddly reminds her of back home when a new neighbor moves in after the house next door had been empty for years. The lonely neighbor, after being shunned by the others for not being their ‘standards’ of normal, then tries to approach the new neighbor hoping for a relationship with anyone other than their pet that can’t speak english. Hopefully though, she doesn't end up like most and scaring him off too.
Behind his figure she ends up getting a bit of cold feet and her own voice gets caught in her throat. She's moving but not with her feet, just her mouth. It was like watching an Opera special on TV with the volume off. She realized quickly she was getting cold. Lucky for her though he ends up sensing her presents and slightly turns, a small smile shown when seeing her.
“Trying to sneak up on me now?” He saves softly, though no different than his normal voice.
That for some reason knocked her voice and responded quickly, but with stutters including “I–no– of course not! Just thought you would like something to drink?” She looks down in embarrassment “If you want to anyway! It's just chamomile tea and I got sugar packs in my pocket. Not classy but it's what I got. But I totally understand if you don’t it can be considered very gross. You can tell me if I'm being too forward. I know I'm too–”
“I'd like that” he interrupts.
Kiya's eyes show with excitement as he takes the cup. His hands are ten times the size but still takes the cup with gentle care. He has a sophisticated hold on it oddly and isn't hesitant in any moment of the translation. I wish she had that confidence. If that's what he considers it anyway.
Malleus takes a sip and no expression is shown. Not sure if he hated it or not. One thing for sure is that he wasn't hesitant on getting on topic.
“You seem odd, did something different happen today?”
Kiya is caught by surprise as she didn’t think he would show any concern or even show any sort of negative emotion. Usually they talk about normal things such as gargoyles (okay that's normal to him) and things that happened at school or in the dorms. Their conversations never escalated to anything emotional so it slightly brought a smile to her face but quickly fell when she realized what she possibly had to talk about.
“ I– yeah” she pauses before saying the next line “though… starting to wonder if I'm being dramatic”
“Hmm…” was all he said as he continued to lightly sip the tea “Is it dramatic if it keeps you awake at night?”
“Maybe…” another ride of silence is met before a conversation continues “But then again you probably understand where I'm coming from so maybe you can tell me”
Malleus raises an eyebrow “Understand what”
“Being treated different, because of what you are”
For the first time Malleus was hesitant. His expression was still flat but it was frozen ‘but when he finally came back from whatever thought had occurred in that moment a face of sorrow appeared making him drink at a much slower pace.
“I suppose so” He looked at Kiya who didn't notice. She is looking in the distance, clearly having a separate thought “Is it because of the entire reveal situation?”
She stiffens on how casually he was able to bring it up but continues to respond to him, refusing contact at that moment.
“Uh yeah, I just didn't think that me being revealed as a girl would change everything including my relationship with my friends. At home there are some problems with men and women but I personally never experienced anything like this. I was treated like everyone else and they knew I was a girl from the beginning.” she tucks one of her locs behind her hair and sigh, letting go of the stiffen shoulders she had a few seconds ago “Kind of makes me realize that I probably did have it good at home and I just didn’t know it”
“...I can understand where you are coming from. However there isn't much of a difference from how I'm treated at home to how I'm treated here. As a prince, unfortunately being outcasted is only natural. An admitted class difference between me and others. Though I will say being here has its perks”
Now Kiya is raising one eyebrow. “What do you mean by that?”
Malleus does a small smile at her as she is now looking at him for an answer.
“I am learning many new things here, outside of academic education. Things such as the many electrical devices and the different methods of basic needs. Microwaves are still a fascinating thing to me, however I still can’t understand why they destroy themselves so easily. Personally think a machine so glorified is too fragile for its purpose”
Kiya snickers at the last bit. Guessing that his issue is less of the ‘fragile’ aspects of the microwave and more of the factor he can’t understand Watts and the difference between the second and the minutes.
“I see” she forces out. Malleus sees her attempt to try and stifle her laughter, though not understanding why, he was glad to see her genuinely smile and because of him. “I can agree with that sentiment. I think I learned a lot of things in the Academy, maybe more so than when I was at home. I think it's going to really suck when I have to go back though. Don’t have magic there sadly”
She starts to rest her head on her own shoulders as she can feel the tiredness take over her body. A cue from Malleus to wrap their conversation up a bit for her sake.
“Child of Man” he says “about your statement earlier. I don’t think your being ‘dramatic’ as you put it”
Kiya’s eyes twinkle in shock but doesn't respond to see what else he would say. Which he takes the hint of being a silent ‘why’.
“I think anyone would be upset if something as much as their gender of all things is what caused a negative change in the relationship. It's existed since the beginning of time and somehow there are people who still can’t comprehend the existence of a woman” She almost imagines a scoff from him in between that and the pair of next sentence he musters out “It's odd that there are so many societies that treat women equally, such as my own, and live peacefully amongst each other, but there are still society and people that don’t see the example and continue to create an imaginary division between people out there. There are worse things out there and they would rather battle the fragility and purpose of a woman. I feel like if a woman can pick up a sword they can do almost about anything”
Kiya laughs a bit “your right about that”
“However” He speaks “I do think there is a possibility of your friends not quite understanding in the first place”
‘’What do you mean?” Kiya wonders, shocked by his comment.
“The young humans, they seem to be doing this stuff out of care, not out of control. I've seen how they walk around you, they still have some admiration from you, yet they are blinded by your predicament and are trying to figure out how to navigate the slight change of your relationship” He pauses “They don't realize that they are causing emotional harm to you than anything and probably never will, unless…”
Malleus does not finish his sentence but Kiya gets the hint. They say nothing after that and Kiya looks at the stars. Malleus was leaning against the ramshackle fence, eyes closed and relaxed.
“... Uh” she begins, thinking of how she wants to structure her sentence “thank you for listening and validating me. I know that you don’t come out here to listen to me at all even, but it's nice to be heard and not be walked over like egg shells. It's refreshing”
He hums as he closes his eyes in comfort “of course. Might as well since you’ll be staying here for a while. Can’t be too comfortable though right. One day you’ll be going and this will be empty once again”
“Haha, and when that day comes I'll guess this place would be a distant memory so much of this won’t matter anyway, right?”
“Yeah I suppose” they take a sip that tastes bitter as they soak in the last sentence and continue the rest of their midnight tea session in silence. When Kiya finally heads back home she has a different attitude. A more positive one in that factor. So when she laid down that night however, still having that undertone ick. She decided that maybe she’ll wait another day to speak to the boys about the issues. She needs time to think about how to speak to them about it properly.

Chapter Summary:
Kiya, after that awful previous day, ended up getting called to a meeting from the Headmaster himself. An event that makes her see unwanted faces but desire a wanted vacation away from the school.
Kiya woke up earlier than usual and it wasn’t even due to the constant harassment of her friends, who she was currently still mad at, or a hungry talking cat. Matter of fact the first statement wouldn't make sense as she still has them blocked. It was actually due to a text from Crowley himself, who has notified her of an emergency meeting. Something she was going to ignore until she had the slightest thought of “wait, maybe he found me away home” so now here she is in the Night Raven Hall seeing several different faces including three faces she didn’t want to see. Luckily however she was stopped by someone else.
“Bonjour~ <3” was the first that she could hear coherently when walking through the crowd of students, dragging Grim and herself to a better view. It made her jump a bit, but perhaps she was less frightened as she could hear who the figure was in the first place.
“Rook?” She questioned before looking and saw it was indeed him. She looks around in the process realizing the Vil wasn’t around, most likely getting there earlier than everyone else, which is odd as Rook is usually falling right behind him.
“Why are you so far back?”
Rook drapes his hand around her shoulder pulling her close as he realizes her suffering in the crowd. His subset Cheshire smile continues to look into as he guides her to the crowd.
“Ah, well as you see, I could see you struggling from afar, so I came to capture you and lure you with us!”
“Huh, odd choice in words but never would I consider Vil to care about something like this— wait, where are we going?”
In the moment Kiya thought he was referring to Vil when he said “us” however they weren’t going to the front where Vil would be located , they were going to the side of the room and right then and there she saw exactly what she didn’t want to see.
“Wait Rook!—“ before she knew it she was awkwardly standing in front of her Duo. Ace and Deuce.
They both looked like different forms of awkwardness. Ace having his arms folded, looking like he was doing a scowl, however the upwards angle of the eyebrows made it look false making her realize he was covering up an expression of shame: Deuce however is more open. Hands clasped together with a visible form of shame showing in his face. Eyes darting all over the place to avoid Kiya's own. All of them just sit in awkwardness as Rook has his usual ‘U’ shaped smile.
“Well, what did I say, non?” He rests his hands on Ace’s shoulder who is glaring into Kiya’s soul. “Out of all the fishes in the sea I can still find her amongst them all, like a hunter should~”
Ace grits his teeth, not even bothering to look in Rooks direction “Yeah, sure”
“Well, I'll be off now! Au revoir!” And like a clump of dust, Rook disappears into The crowd. Lending in like he was never there to begin with.
Kiya, Ace, and Deuce or now all staring at each other. Well mostly Ace with the soul burning Glare. Deuce is just awkward avoiding contact with a sad looking expression. She thought the silence would go forever with how everyone was hesitant to talk to each other but as usual, Ace broke the ice.
“So what gives?”
“… what?” Kiya has a moment of struggle as she tries to comprehend what he asked ‘gives’ what? What does that mean in this situation?
“You literally have ghosts for the past 24 hours and now you're trying to hide from us, over what? Princess treatment?!” Ace snorts mockingly “be serious”
Kiya snaps just hearing the word ‘princess’ and bites her words as she puts her finger on his chest “are you fucking seriously right now?! This isn't princess treatment this is torture and harassment who would want to be treated that way?!—“
Ace cuts her off with a ‘pft’ as he rolls his eyes at her “oh please most people in the hell hole would wish to be treated the way you are right now. Free gifts, admiration, things only Vil would get and he acts like it's nothing. You're just being spoiled !”
Kiya was now debating if she should put her hands around his neck and ring it till his face turned Riddle's signature red because his last comment made her ears feel like they were going to fall right off with how mad she was. She grabbed his uniform jacket, and bunched it up with all her might. She never felt such a feeling of anger that she wanted to commit violence. But deep down inside she knew it was also because she felt betrayal as she thought the friend she has since the beginning would At least understand her the most.
“Listen here with your big giant pumpkin sized head your mother had to carry around for several months—“ Kiya face was becoming so red that tears were forming in her eyes. Almost in the corner of her eyes she can see Deuce jump in shock. She couldn't see the rest but she could guess that they probably had to share expression as a slight silence fills the area they are cluttered in “I might not have powers and I might not be a boy but one thing I'm not going to let anyone do is talk down to me and treat me like I'm stupid!”
Ace’s eyes bulge as he sweats a bit from her yelling. embarrassed by the attention but realizing he was not going to win the argument.
“You have no right to tell me how to feel about anything when you haven't even come close to the sexual harassment, being talked down to, and treated less than I am, while being in this school. Mind you two of those three behaviors you have done to me consistently. like right now!“
“W-wait, Mikki, he didn’t mean what he said! We were just—” Deuce tries to intervene, attempting to pull her back from but doesn’t realize he was about to become her next victim.
“And you!—“ Deuce's face scrunches up in regret as she whips around letting go of Ace and shaking Deuce's arms off her “You have no right to act innocent here! You have been condoning his behavior this whole time and not once defend me from him and other people who speak about me. I thought you guys were supposed to be my friends but all you've been doing is acting just like the rest of them!” She takes a moment to try and catch her breath but nearly fails, sounding like she was choking in the process “You guys make me so sick. I Feel—I want to —I—“
In the moment she feels a gentle hand on her. Her anger does not see but she doesn’t yell at the person that hands on her because whoever in that moment, wasn't who she was angry with.
“Hey, maybe you should take a breather, ya?”
Kiya stiffened a bit but didn’t move. She recognizes Cater who has a concerned expression. If there is anyone that knows how to calm a hot head it would be one of the two other leads of Heartsbyul.
She hesitates for a moment still looking a scared ace in the face but she lets out a huff of air. Still having gritted teeth she replies with a “Fine” and lets go of Ace letting Cater Guide her away from the scene. Leaving a frightened Ace and ashamed Deuce to themselves.
“O.M.G. What. A. Scene!” Cater chuckled a bit “Haven’t seen anyone get like that unless its, well Riddle. They must have done something really stupid for you to act like that”
Kiya sighs as she loosens up. She bites her lip to fight back the negative emotions building.
“Yeah they really did” she wanted to add ‘and I'm surprised that they would do it’ but she knew if she did she would burst out in tears so just wrapped her arms around herself. Luckily before Cater could make the situation either worse or slightly better Crowley finally presents himself and everyone figures out why they were there. He reveals that they were invited to participate in one of the Arcane Academy events of the Noble Bell Academy. This somewhat intrigued Kiya because outside of the District that made up the Night Raven College she had not seen much else. She heard stories from the Freshman boys of their homes and had seen pictures that they shared from holidays back home but physically? She’s never seen anything outside of the nearby city walls.
So she was actually interested in going. However there is always a catch and only a select few people would go and that made her realize that a chance of her going anywhere outside of the school would be very low so she once again gets submitted into a rut thinking that she will have to suffer another casual day, having to eventually come face with the people she rather not talk to for the rest of the week. Well that's what she thought
It was a couple days until the news was broken to her. She was aware of Grim's absence during the school day and sometimes even lunch but she just assumed that he was trying to run from the pestering of Ace and Deuce as much as she was. But then one day as she is heading back to her dorm in defeat she is stopped by Crowley himself.
“Yoo hoo!~” She hears Crowley's voice.
At first she just ignores him because, truth be told, they are amongst a crowd of people, but then she quickly gets startled when she feels his hands clasp around her shoulder whipping her around to face him.
“My you walk quite fast, would almost believe you weren't human” Kiya quickly cringes at the last statement but bites her tongue back from saying something rude.
“Anywho~, wanted to tell you some delightful news!” he claps his hands together to make a loud clap. Digging into his vest pulling out a a nicely decorated letter “Let me start by saying your little cat friend is a pain”
Her eyes widen and her stomach starts to turn in distressed “ Oh my sevens I'm so sorry for whatever he did, please don’t have me do anything–”
“No, No– it actually made me realize something!” He hands her the letter which she hesitates to take but does. Opening it she reads it and quickly realizes what it is. That damn cat was actually useful for something.
“Despite his persistent pestering and badgering of my mental sanity, he made me realize that this could be the place for you” He puts his hands on his chest, a common sign knowing he was getting powered up for a self gloating session “See, as the genius that I am, I realized that this school might be the place that would have more knowledge of Parallel Universes. Yes, Night Raven College might be a prestige school but even I must say that we are more limited when it comes to knowledge of supernatural endeavors such as this.” Kiya eyes does not leave him as he continues to talk “ But there not”
They continue to talk as they head closer to the college “Like I said the day we drew names, it is a knowledgeable school, gifted with intelligent students, a school that many of our world's historic magicians once went to. So if people like them went there, there is a possible chance that there is something there that could at least figure out what has happened to you and get me closer to getting you home.
They both then face each other and for the first time in days Kiya does a small smile.
“I… appreciate you giving me this privilege”
He pats her on the shoulder with a harder laugh making her jolt at each hint
“Ah yes, I appreciate your gratefulness and hope you don’t take my kindness for granted!” pushing Kiya out the gate before being able to process what was happening he says one last thing “Now, start packing, you have till tomorrow to get all your stuff together. No time to waste, see you… and grim, at the mirror”
And with that she heads back to the dorm, biting back a smile.

..::RELATIONSHIPS::..
FAMILY
Parents:
Their parents died by the time that they were in their first year of college. Their father had died when they were 12 from a car accident and their mother died when they were 18 from cancer. Because of that they mostly lived their life alone. They were closer to their father than they were to their mother and that is the reason they were in love with music in the first place. He was a Woodwind player (main instrument being a saxophone) and dabbled in the guitar. Him playing the guitar is what made them fall in love with string instruments and actually still owns their fathers guitar till this day.
Them and their mother however had a strained relationship. Once their father died they were treated as a second mother and no longer was considered a child. Leaving Kiya to spend many days of summer vacation at home cooking, cleaning, and being shamed when rebelling. Their temper ends up coming from their mother honestly with the fact that being around her caused many nights in screaming matches and sometimes physical altercations. By the time their mother died they didn’t really get much from their other than Jewelry and clothes which they sold most of the Jewelry and clothes which were just their mothers and keeping ones that were bought by their father and belonged to her deceased grandmother.
Siblings
They have two older brothers that disconnected not only once they were adults but even more when their mother had died. The eldest was not very keen with their mother and the youngest boy was favored out of the three making him spoiled. kiya, despite being the only girl, was treated as a second mother and was not thought of as much more than that by their mother and second oldest brother. The eldest knew it was wrong what the mother was doing to Kiya but stayed silent so as to not be abused as well. By the time their mother died the eldest ended up having his own family and disconnected from the sibling and the second eldest went to college living off the remaining money of the mother. Leaving Kiya with basically nothing (They got jewelry and clothes which they sold the ones that their mother bought herself and kept the generational stuff, but that's about it) living off a scholarship their first year so that they could go to college and doing jobs here and there so that she could live.
Partner (s):
Leona Kingscholar
Leona and Kiya are typical enemies to a lovers relationship. Starting off disposing of each other they end up growing closer to each other during the time he finds out about her secret. Telling each other about themselves that most would never know. By the time they both graduate from Night Raven College they know more about each other than anyone else would and many of those secrets they kept with each other till the day they died. Not even written on paper, would those secrets come out.
Vil Schoenheit (Alternative Time Line)
Vil and Kiya were interested in each other before Vil found out Kiya was a girl. Kiya helped him understand a bit more in the difference in beauty as despite his understanding being about health, behavior, and style, they helped him expand on the thought of self-love and being yourself. Despite Kiya fighting their own villains with insecurity he sees her for who she is and can see that, despite her being a magical woman trapped in an unknown world they are still head strong and able to move on. Still making this place her home despite everything. Something he appreciates in their future when they own a home together and they not only help give life to it but bring him comfort within it.
Children:
Kiya x Leona Timeline
Eze Kingscholar
The female twin out of the two children they have. She has Leona's eyes and attitude but has her mothers face shape and color. She of course is a daddies girl but she enjoys her mothers company when needed. Like her father in his school days however she’d never admit wanting her attention but Kiya knows.
Basel Kingscholar
They male twin out of the two. He had his mothers eyes and hair texture. Even adopting her signature locks. However his hair is white compared to his parents. It's believed to possibly be a trait that was based down from Leona’s side of the family ancestral tree. Specifically his ancestor named Tafari.
Miya x Vil Timeline
Liselette “Lise” Schoenheit
Their one and only child. She has unique features, truth be told. Baring ginger hair to the Afrocentric and Caucasian mix. The only thing you can pinpoint belonging to one parent or the other is Vil's purple eyes and her mothers lips. Other than that she is her own beauty (which Oddly makes Vil relieved as he couldn't imagine his child being judged for looking like him or his wife)
