Thank you for tagging me! :p I hope this is okay, but I'm taking this as an opportunity to infodump in my responses. Because of that, I'll leave a cut so people can better choose if they want to read my ramblings, haha.
Favorite Episode: For the longest time, my favorite episode was definitely 'The Ricklantis Mixup.' It's got amazing pacing, cool commentary on a lot of societal issues, and it fits in so well with my field of study (Criminal Justice/Social Sciences, but I focused a lot on biases). Now, 'The Ricklantis Mixup' is still my favorite, but I find myself coming back to 'A Rickconvenient Mort' and 'Mort: Ragnarick' as comfort episodes quite often. 'A Rickconvenient Mort' is not a happy episode by any means, but I connect with it very deeply as someone who relates to Morty's situation. 'The Old Man and the Seat' is also one I rewatch often on its own. While I wouldn't say I like each of these episodes equally, it's hard to definitively choose which is my favorite at the moment... XD
Favorite Season: Season five! This season is not the most well-written or well-paced in my opinion, but it aired when I was in my peak RnM obsession. Everything that aired elicited a peak dopamine rush for me, and I get nostalgic about when the finale aired. Not to mention the exploration of Morty's trauma and how it impacts his view of love and relationships as a child, plus the overt codependency and abusive behaviors in his relationship with Rick. I will die on this hill, but season five would've been an okay place to have ended the show if it had to. I still get so excited anytime I think about season five and I WILL infodump about it incessantly if I remember something about it in conversation. Even now, I'm so excited to get to write about it! :D Nothing will ever compare to the moment I realized that they were, in fact, actually solidifying a deep, complex, and emotional lore to the multiverse I already loved (and read into) so much.
Favorite Character: Morty... If that wasn't obvious, already, lol. I relate to Morty so much. As an autistic nonbinary (leaning towards transmasc) person and someone with a little brother, too, I can see both myself and my brother in his character. I feel parental towards him and as if he's a lot like me at the same time.
Hardest Hitting Emotional Moment: The confrontation between Morty and Beth over Planetina in 'A Rickconvenient Mort.' It's almost a bit too real. God... Something about being a kid that hates your mom and hates yourself for hating her; being a kid that just wants someone to love them and not understanding why the person who never cares about protecting you only wants to when you're making choices you think will make you happy; how that pushes you further into that dangerous relationship. That's good, accurate writing.
Least Favorite Episode: 'Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim's Morty' or 'Raising Gazorpazorp.' The stuff with the dragons makes me really uncomfortable when the kids get brought into it and the other is just a sexism brofest that doesn't make any sense, anyway. I get what both of them were going for, but... eh... No thanks.
Least Favorite Season: Huh. I don't really know? I guess season one has its tedious moments, which do irk me, so... Idk, let's go with that!
Least Favorite Character: I'm not sure what this means, really? If you're asking about the character I enjoy having on screen the least, probably Mr. PoopyButthole, but that's just because of his voice. It can get overstimulating at times. If you're asking about the character I dislike the most as a person, probably Planetina or Mr. Jellybean. Sorry if I misunderstood the question!
I hope none of these people have been tagged before, haha. Ofc, these are no pressure tags :)
