Him: The distinctive hands of the one and only capturing the same video. Love it. Great show. See you next time Terminal 5. Her: When we are not eating we are concerting. 20 feet away from Disclosure was as amazing as grabbing 8pm reservation at Babbo. #nbd
Him: When you come home with a huge bag of basil, what do you do? Make two batches of pesto genovese, don't be silly! We'll be eating pasta all week. Here's a tip for all of you novice pesto grinders, when you think you put enough basil, grab another handful. Also, one garlic clove goes a loooong way. Her: I guess I"ll be flexing my gnocchi-making skills sooner than I thought! Ricotta or potato? Stay tuned...
Him: Oh what would Sunday be without homemade potato gnocchi. Grandma and mom made me eat the salad first. Fastest salad consumption ever. Her: Note to self: perfect gnocchi making skills.
Him: Not much better than butternut squash soup during a blizzard. I’ll drink a second cup of vino for you (babe). Wish you were here…
Her: Me too! At least Amy (dinner), Stacy (pita chips), and Justin (almond butter) are here to keep me company!
Him: It’s a good quote, but I would make a SLIGHT change. It should read something like, “Eat Grandma’s meatballs, watch football, nap.” Or something even simpler like, “Bacon, whiskey, bacon.” I’ll just have to RELAX until I can fulfill my own mantras. (It was right all along!)
Her: Dates. Goat Cheese. Prosciutto. Three ingredients that when put together make your kitchen counter feel like a table at NYC's finest dining destinations. Salty, sweet and savory... need I say more?
Him: You can't say more, you have a mouthful of dates and salted pork. There's one left though, I think I'll save it for later. Nothing wrong with popping that bad boy in the microwave for a hot 20 seconds and topping it with vanilla ice cream.
