before museums were actually museums, people kept all of their favorite things in a cabinet and showed their friends whenever they came over. they called these their "cabinets of curiosities". this is my cabinet of curiosities filled with a compilation of what life has thrown at me thus far.

last week we packrafted the Escalante, something I've wanted to do for 3 years. usually the river only runs at a high enough flow to paddle down for a few weeks a year. camping out waiting for it was well worth it! (at Escalante River)
