I wanted to let it sit for a moment before I shared some more but I’ve already given a teaser for Chapter 3 might as well share it when it’s posted.

"I'm surprised you even returned. There must be a hole somewhere"

I find this line from the King in the final stretch to be extremely hilarious, because you can tell he truly believes he is in control of everything even though he's essentially trapped in a game world. Because, no, King in Yellow, there wasn’t a hole that you spectacularly missed while trapping D3rlord, he MADE a hole. He escaped through his OWN knowledge — on HIS own terms. You didn't miss shit, D3rlord is just that good; he was right, although it is the KIY's world, Minecraft is HIS domain.

All of D3rlord's greatest feats in SFAWTDE & DAWTDE:

• Being so perceptive that he immediately realizes that he is being followed.

• Using his knowledge on the real world and the Minecraft world to confirm something is in his world and watching him; setting the 'loading the chunk trap', the grass block backup and checking his menu.

• Solving an almost impossible cypher with a PEN AND PAPER and clowing the God that created it (part 1)

• Seeing a church blended seamlessly in the distance, before increasing his POV. (This mf had eagle eyes istg)

• Tanking infinite knowledge once to warn Avery. Then a SECOND time to cover up what he saw just in case anyone found his footage.

• SURVIVING INFINTE KNOWLEDGE??? Albeit he's stuck staring at his screen.

• Figuring out how the disappearing mountains work and creating his own path to the tree, immediately realizing the KIY's Avery is fake and clowing him in his own world (part 2) then making a fakeout trail just in case the king sends another fake.

• Chewing and spitting out the negative words that sent Avery (and probably would any other human) in a 12 hour trance.

• Using his Minecraft knowledge to decipher the puzzle Avery punched through.

• DEFYING THE KING IN YELLOW. TWICE. And was acknowledged by said God for his strong mind. The same God who i'm sure expected him to have died after taking in infinite knowledge.

• CLOWNING A GOD (part 3) by escaping the prison he put him in by using his Minecraft knowledge to escape into a pocket dimension.

• LADDER CLUTCHING ON NEAR INVISIBLE GLASS.

CLOWNING A GOD AGAIN (part 4) by testing his supposed infinite knowledge about their plan to defeat him. Shit talking a God while merging their minds and having said God BEG him to release the spell.

• Fighting against double infinte knowlege to write a letter to Avery and post a Youtube video of it.

Soon I probably won't even be able to think at all...If you stay here it'll merge with you too, that's exactly what it wants! It'll be free in the physical world! DO YOU WANT THAT??" "I don't care, I'm not letting you do this." I'll have you know we all almost died on January 1st; 8.3 billion people almost experienced Armageddon just because one man with low self-esteem is too heavily obsessed over his muse. FOR ONE MAN he would let the world go to absolute shit. Avery don't run for president 🙏

Yapping about SFAWTDE & DAWTDE

I've come to realize what a lot of people don't realize when watching SFAWTDE & DAWTDE is that the narrator is also unreliable in some feats. The narrator is just relaying what he's seeing in the footage given to him and making observations based on his own knowledge but he doesn't really know everything that is going on. For example, if the laptop found in the storage locker is actually Derek's, or how the fake Avery came about.

He theorized that the fake Avery's way of speaking is how D3rlord realized that the Avery was fake but an even stronger and more viable piece of evidence would be how none of the mountains created by D3rlord vanished to get to where he was even though Avery knew nothing of the world.

So, when the narrator says that the laptop Avery found was D3rlord's laptop, that may not be true considering D3rlord can't move away from his screen. The only consistent thing pertaining to the world they both are playing is that when they opened minecraft the world is pre-created; and remember in the SFAWTDE it is said that when he (Avery) spawned into the world he spawned elsewhere and later found the mine 400 or so blocks away from his house. If it were truly the laptop of D3rlord's world played previously wouldn't Avery spawn in the mine?

My theory is that Avery was never playing D3rlord's old laptop, but rather the thing connecting them is the pre-created world itself. The world containing the KIY. Remember, D3rlord said after he installed Minecraft the world came pre-created as well; I believe D3rlord was once the vessel for the King, but in this multiverse his mind was too strong for the King to manipulate, strong enough to tank infinite knowledge. So, the vessel switched. Into Avery.

And I believe the King follows probabilities and preys on his potential vessels' vulnerabilities in order to get them where he wants. D3rlord's curiosity and Avery's vulnerability, which he only knows through knowing the 'real world'. The king knows little to nothing about Minecraft, a possibility on why D3rlord doesn't die while looking at the screen, and how he escapes the King trapping him in the red ether. That's why he doesn't know about the book buried in the village holding the forbidden page. The King creates spaces refecting things he knows about the 'real world' not necessarily because he understands the digital realm he is trapped in — he's essentially doing everything he does to increase the probability of him succeeding in claiming his vessel in the multiverse he currently resides.

Honestly, I can't see the Sonic Movie 3 moon scene (the part just before they team up whne the sun rises) as anything other than Sonic admiring how beautiful Shadow looked when he came to terms with his grief. When he finally realized he didn't have to take the revenge route. He almost didn't look away, and I wouldn't too MOVIE SHADOW IS GORGEOUS.

Even in the way the scene is shot too. It's clear we're seeing Shadow through Sonic's eyes. PARAMOUNT, SEGA YOU CANT FOOL ME.

Excuse me?! Why am I now finding out about Shadow's OG voice??? The gentleness? The gravel? THE SWEET EDGE. I LOVE IT.

As someone who hasn't posted in Ao3 for over a year, its time for me to make my grand return. 2026 I hope you're ready for all the Sonadow I have in store.

NO ONE can convince me that the new raptor, the most intelligent of them during the test and the one that taught them how to retaliate, wasn't our girl The Handler reincarnated. She wouldn't rest until she knew all her babies were out of that place.

Their Designs

There's nothing I love more than the designs of d3rlord3 and Avery and what those connotations have. Like let me explain

d3rlord is a knight. He's a knight drapped in armor and a helmet. In every sense of the word, he looks like a warrior. But he doesn't fight, an option that never seems to occur to him. He's smart, he uses his brain, not his fists. Even his most blunt force solution, breaking down the door, was done with an air of a scholar finding a loophole to a puzzle. For goodness sake, his inventory had a stone sword and his best weapon was a pickaxe with SILK TOUCH. He doesn't wear actual armor. He is a knight that can not fight, a academic dressed in armor.

Avery is so much more fun because he's so casual. He looks like a civilian in every sense of the word, he's wearing shorts and a flowery over shirt. and yet what we know of him most is that he's a fighter. We know of him from the Skywars thing were it shows that not only CAN he fight, but he can do so gleefully.

Our two characters remain a scholar dressed like warrior and a warrior dressed like a civilian.

everyone talks about how d3rlord is a knight to the king but what if we got it a bit wrong? What if AVERY is the knight and d3rlord is the one role in which a king freely gives information to, who he lets critique his choices?

Let's talk lyrics for the songs in SFAWTDE (this is gonna be pretty long):

The very first song that adds subtext to the entire situation happening in the arg is Home Again by Park Lane and then the last, although I don't know the song's, name speaks for itself: there's no escaping the King in Yellow for D3erlord3.

For now, let's focus on the lyrics of Home Again:

Now, I know a lot of people will look at this song as a love song due to the ambiguous lyrics (and you can if you want, I support shippers as much as the next person) but I will look at it from a devotion perspective, from both parties.

I believe D3erlord3 was born just for the king, his soul and the King's vision were aligned way before time and the King has known that. Before his soul found itself in a body that could serve the King it has failed to answer his call. In turn the King has failed to keep D3erlord3, failed to gain his Knight's trust and devotion, failed to make D3erlord3 feel safe as his subject. If we're going to entertain the idea of reincarnation, every single time D3erlord3 has encountered the King, he runs away maybe to save himself or maybe to warn others — every life he's lived to serve the King he runs away. Maybe the King has tried a myriad of methods, past lives and current to obtain his Knight, hence the mention of crimes, and with those methods he swore he could keep his knight from running away from him, but it never worked. What if the King had to compromise, study and infiltrate D3erlord3's passion, Minecraft, in a way that could lead him exactly where he needed him to be. He allowed D3erlord3 to know he was there, allowed him to think he had the upper hand with the grass block, allowed him to tease him to lull him into a sense of security. He wanted D3erlord3 to feel assured, comfortable in the control he had over him so it didn't feel like he was forcing him to come his way (even though he was whenever he felt D3erlord3 pulling away).

On D3erlord3's side his crimes were his attempt to deceive the King; as his knight he should follow his every command, the King should be seen as his God and he the servant but instead he attempted to outwit and maim him. Luckily, the King was okay with that, because he wants D3erlord3 beside him.

The King had his hold on D3erlord3 from the beginning, he couldn’t run away even if he wanted to, but he didn't necessarily know that. "I felt...compelled," "I have to keep moving," from these words and onward D3erlord3 was trapped. It wasn't human curiosity after he fell into the water, it was a need, an inch beneath his skin to listen to the thing calling out for him.

With the chorus I believe it's both the King and D3erlord3 talking to eachother. D3erlord3 speaking, the King assuring, blending with his own thoughts to make it seems like D3erlord3 is the one in control. It can also be vice versa, especially for the first few lyrics:

The King lulling D3erlord3 and telling him it's alright while D3erlord3 telegraphs (since the king is watching him) how close he is to him. Their home resides with eachother; wherever the King is, that's D3erlord3's home and wherever D3erlord3 (and the people of Carcosa) goes the King finds home there.

This can also tie back to the reincarnation theory.

These lyrics clearly differentiates D3erlord3 and the King:

King's methods in the past weren't enough to keep his knight with him so he switched tactics, to make D3erlord3 apart of his people. I can imagine D3erlord3 doesn't like being tricked or controlled to do the King's bidding, but he was, and as soon as he found out (by tanking infinite knowledge for a good minute) he didn't care about anything else. His compelling leading him to the King was snapped so he could run and save Avery's life. Whether the King lost his knight this time or not isn't known as yet but we do know D3erlord3 has changed and is missing.

The way this song was also directly before he came upon the village also proves much more that he's supposed to be there, be under the King's command.

Let's talk censorship in SFAWTDE:

I'm very curious about what was blurred out in the book when the writer said 'A King is coming my ...'

The writer couldn't be referring to their lover or their child, they are just an ex-follower of the King and never mentioned themselves having family or friends. They hated the place. Also, if the blurred word was referring to their lover, friends or children why would it be blurred out?

Everything happening to d3erlord3 was put in place by the King. Everything censored and blurred was put there by d3erlord3. What did the King refer to d3erlord3 as in the book he found before butting upon the crossroads? Why did he feel the need to blur it in the official recording? Why was a single word so groundbreaking to d3erlord3 that he felt the need to blur it?

Was it something personal to d3erlord3, was it the reason they went running out the house in the original footage before turning back? Was it another reason they felt the need yo censor their own name?

D3erlord3 could have just censored the King but they also censored their own name and a single word in that last book. Why? It has to mean something.

I don't think a lot of people who watch SFAWTDE understand that d3rlord3 COULDNT escape his search for the King in Yellow. Every since he walked through the first tunnel and fell into the water he has been compelled into going forward. He literally says he felt compelled to keep going forward into the darkness; he lost control of his own body to the King and had to keep going.

We also see that in the original, uncut footage of his recording, when he is told in the village to stop searching he was ready to give up the search and go back. But what happened when he turned around and went out of the house, he was started/dragged by something back into the house.

There were also multiple points as he walked through the darkness towards the yellow doors where he seemed to pause and struggle to not move forward, as if he was being puppeteered towards the King. It's not that d3erlord3 didn't want to leave, he couldn't, he was being compelled into finding the King. Why?

I believe d3erlord3 is now the King's vessel. A body to inhabitant so he is no longer trapped in minecraft's virtual space. The king was waiting there just for him. Is it a coincidence that the statue in the village looks just like d3erlord3's skin? I think not. Is it far fetched for a person with this amount of intelligence that can tank the King's infinite knowledge TWICE and still set up a warning for Avery and US as viewers? I THINK NOT.

D3erlord3 is probably walking around like Auther Lester with the King whispering in his ear.

I choose to believe she cut herself out of there. She isn't gone I REFUSE to believe it. We'll hear the whistle again in season 4. Trust.

Sonic Movie 3 Spoilers:

Just wanna remind everyone that Shadow literally was looking for Sonic. Like he kept his eye on him. Turned to watch him fly closer. Sonic was already circling back to Shadow. Shadow leapt and reached for him, and Sonic was already reaching out too.

They were CONNECTED.
