The Rami Malek fandom on Tumblr is getting out of control. Like seriously out of control.

It all might be fun and games, but you don’t know him, you don’t know his family! So tracking down the school his brother works at, finding his works email. There is a line and this is seriously crossing it now.

Let me tell you a short story!

Back in 2010 there was a girl, she stalked Rami and his brother. She turned up at their home, she posted letters through their door., she turned up at his brother’s school. She stalked them, she harassed them, and she terrorised them. Thinking ‘I’m just a fan, what harm am I doing? They will like they are adored’ WRONG! FUCKING WRONG!

Rami deleted his first original Twitter, he deleted all his online social media, he had to get restraining orders out. This shit isn’t funny and it’s not cute. His privacy wasn’t just intruded on, it was violated. Think before you do anything really stupid. 

You don’t know these people, they don’t know you! Don’t be the person who takes things too far. It’s not fair

Totally agree with this, I think it’s disgusting to try to track down his/his brother’s personal infos, we can sometimes appear “obsessed” with him with the things that we post, but we all know that the capslock comments like “HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL”, “I LOVE HIM SO MUCH” are all fun and games, and that there’s a difference between being “omg obsessed” and OBSESSED in the true sense of the world, just like the story in the first post. Invading their privacy like this is just so wrong.
