Jim Caviezel!
Iâm thinking his personality might alter somewhat with his change of FC, but not too much and that might not necessarily be a bad thing.
Opinions, anyone?

â¤(un)popular opinion; iâm not really a fan of muses who pull the âiâm not afraid of you, lolâ card with dangerous or powerful muses when they are being threatening ( or even if they appear humble or cute but are full of power ). if it wasnât for being called god modding, iâm 700% sure these more powerful muses would have, could have, should have killed another muse if they persistently irritate them. especially if the offending character is a run of the mill human. unless your muse has dealt with similar monsters/menacing personalities/dangerous situations - try not to antagonize deadly muses to the point of obvious rage knowing the writer canât really write them killing your muse even though that is completely in their nature to do so.
when ppl refer to a character whoâs been through a shit ton of trauma as whiny
âJust stay with me.â
âOkay.â
All it took to still Laerke was the four worded request. With her offer to leave and give him space declined, she stood in the middle of the room uncertain of how exactly to proceed.
âIf that is what you wish, I am happy to oblige.â
TĂ˝r hesitated, glanced at the woman standing uncertainly in the middle of the room. Then he looked away, his shoulders fell and he bowed his head. Of course she does not approach. What did I expect?Â
âNever mind, my lady,â he said quietly, hating the words even as he spoke them. âI shall not detain you. I will be fine soon enough.â Realization dawned that he should have said he was fine already, but TĂ˝râs instinct was for honesty. He turned and lay on the bed with his back to her, waiting for the sound of the door to announce she had left him alone.
So tired of being alone...
//This is important because it proves that The Other can hear everything Loki is saying based on some kind of telepathic connection that The Other is maintaining over the distance of whole dimensions. Â Which means it qualifies literally everything Loki says in Avengers Assemble to anyone else.Â
#yes#okay#loki is being monitored the entire time#which is why when people are always like#âwhy didnât he take thorâs offer?!â#i always wince#heâs on speakerphone so he fucking canât (via opalescentnanomachines)
 Y E P I WAS REFERRING SPECIFICALLY TO THAT ACTUALLY. Â
#is that why he cried as he stabbed his brother though?
#i know this is because they wanted to make odin more like the dick he is in the comics#and they wanted to make it clear that odin was not noble like thor#but jfc i have to do a lot of mental backflips to get these to work together#and all i can come up with is that odin is SO infuriated and devestated by the loss of loki#loki whom he loved (and probably still loves even under the fury) is so determined to be horrible#and sometimes you lose your shit the most over the ones you love the most#and odinâs getting old and heâs SO angry about loki and how much he wanted for that precious squish he couldnât let die#that it comes out in this really vile way#and yet i know thatâs not what the writers were going for#BUT FUCK YOU I LOVE ODIN AS ACTUALLY LOVING HIS LITTLE SHIT SON#just that theyâre too alike and their anger is the RAZE IT TO THE GROUND AND SALT THE EARTH type
Is it wrong to enjoy your own tags? Â Either way, I enjoy having them properly on my blog.
Yeah, Iâm not a fan of Odin. But even I canât be as angry as some people are at him in this scene. Yes, parenting failâŚbut Odin didnât just attempt to enslave a race or to destroy another.
Yes he did. He took the casket from Jotunheim, and without it their planet is slowly dying. It will take time, but the Frost Giants are a doomed race. For all the politics in this (and weâre being told his version of everything), that is a pretty draconian thing to do. The difference between Odin and everyone else is that he has won and heâs determined to keep winning at all costs. Heâs made of sterner stuff than Loki, quite frankly.
Now, this doesnât change that what Loki has tried to do is wrong, but it does make Odin a hypocrite.
^^^ This. Regarding Odinâs massive personality change, Iâm firmly of the opinion that Odin cracked between Thor 1 and TDW. Maybe it was guilt over Lokiâs âdeathâ, maybe it was the chaos in the wake of the Bifrost getting destroyed, but somewhere in there Odin just plain lost it. I donât mean a temporary psychotic break like Loki had in the latter part of Thor 1, I mean permanently.
Iâm no great fan of Odin and I donât think heâs any kind of model father - in fact he made a few major foul-ups in raising his sons - but I also think he tried, in his own way, and that he did care about Loki. Thor 1 Odin would never have said something so horrible to a young man he viewed as his son.
TDW Odin was not the same man, plain and simple. He had some kind of massive breakdown from which his mind never recovered, which is why he did the insane things he did in TDW and (IMO) why Frigga didnât openly oppose him more than she did. Heâs not the man she (privately) argued with in Thor 1. Heâs dangerous, unstable, and has lost much if not all of his compassion even toward his own sons. (Yes, the plural is deliberate. I think people conveniently forget Odin giving the order to stop Thor by any means necessary.)
Say what you want about Loki, but a father who will lock one son up for life and give a shoot-to-kill order on the other is not right in the head.
Connections // Kenna and Loki
âHow are you enjoying being a god?â Kenna asked as she placed a well-filled plate of food onto the plain but clean kitchen table in front of TĂ˝r. The young god visibly perked up at the sight of the food and picked up his fork eagerly to apply himself to the repast.
âItâs more like learning to be a fake noble,â TĂ˝r grumbled, quietly enough that only Kenna could hear. âWhy do I need to learn how to dance? Iâm the God of Justice, not the god of prancing around the dance floor.â
âYouâre part of the royal court now, dearie boy,â Kenna sat down across from him, and it crossed TĂ˝râs mind how odd it might look: he in his court finery sitting in the kitchen with the royal nanny seated across from him. Yet he felt far more at home here than in the splendour of the throne room.
âIâm not one of those people,â he muttered a trifle resentfully. âI never will be.â
âAnd maybe thatâs why Odin chose you, lovey. Those nobles donât know right from wrong, most of âem,â she responded rather cynically, and he raised an eyebrow at her in amusement.
âI imagine the princes do though, donât they?â he teased her playfully, and grinned when she harrumphed.
âNo thanks to some people around âem,â she murmured, pitching her voice low. âThank the Norns our lady queen has good sense, but even so, I worry. Thorâs got a hot temper and is far too quick to get physical with it. Heâs liable to become a bully if itâs not nipped in the bud soon.â
âIâm sure youâll manage just as you did withâŚâ he was cut off when Kenna sat up and exclaimed, smiling at someone over his shoulder.
âLoki!â she greeted the young prince. âHello, lovey. Are you wanting some food?â
Loki was a quiet boy, but not shy. He could better be described as reserved. A young child growing up a little too quickly for his still tender age. He tried to emulate his fatherâs bearing and his motherâs wordless wisdom, and combined with his thoroughly learned manners, he came across as older than he was. His height did not help him much in that count either. He was âshooting upâ as his mother said. He could not admit he was not at least bit happy that he was nearing Thor.
Maybe I will be taller! He thought as he checked around him in the hall with a covert glance of green eyes. Noticing no one in the immediate vicinity, he sped on long legs toward the spacious doorway to the royal kitchens where he intended on finding his nanny.
He did not hear the softly murmuring voices until he turned the corner quickly (likely a bit too quickly, he would have been told if his nanny had been watching him). He halted abruptly at the sight of Kenna sitting across the table from an unfamiliar, but finely arrayed man. When said individual turned, Loki recognized him and gave an appropriate half-bow. He recalled him from ceremony where TĂ˝r had been deified as the âgod of justiceâ.
âLord TĂ˝r.â The young prince said, then looked to Kenna. âYes. I came to ask about aâŚsnack. I have completed my studying and wondered if I could take something to my chambers. I apologize if I am interruptingâŚâ He leaned toward the doorway in a gesture of his willingness to leave.
It wasâŚinteresting. Kenna was a wonderful cook and she meant a great deal to all in the royal family, especially the princes, butâŚwhy would Lord TĂ˝r seek her company? Perhaps he simply wished some food. Then again, there were always tables arrayed in the halls for the attending courtiers, nobles, gods, and goddesses. He shook the thought off for the moment.
Týr rose to his feet and bowed slightly to Loki in return, but Kenna's cheery answer forestalled him from speaking. As Loki's attention was distracted Týr noticed that young as the prince was, he was grown nearly as tall as Týr himself. He'll probably grow to tower over me, the justice god thought with a hint of humorous grumpiness that he did not allow to show.
"Not at all, lovey, you sit right down and I'll get you some food. Did you forget to eat dinner again?" she gave him a mock-suspicious look, her plump arms crossed before her chest.
"Perhaps I should go..." Týr made a vague gesture toward the door, but was forestalled by a glare from Kenna.
"And leave that good food uneaten?" She pointed meaningfully at his plate. "Don't you dare." Suitably chastened, Týr gave Loki a humorous look and a small shrug as if to say well there we are. Nonetheless he didn't resume his seat so long as the young prince was still standing.
"Never mind, dear, I'll fix you up," Kenna addressed Loki, and then she bustled into the busier cooking area of the kitchen and began serving up a generous plate of food.
"Shall we?" Týr smiled at Loki, noticeably more relaxed than he usually was at court, and politely gestured for the prince to seat himself first.

OOC: I need a different FC. Or at least an alternate FC who does more period pieces. Itâs excessively difficult to find pics of Sebstan doing simple things like bowing.
Edit: I keep saying this but I keep not doing it. Meh. Maybe Iâll just go with the plan of using Jim Caviezel as an alternate FC.
âPardon me, lady,â TĂ˝r pitched his voice low as he addressed the elegant dark-haired lady, âbut you seem familiar. Are you perhaps from Themyscira?â Of course like most males TĂ˝r had never set foot upon the Amazonian island, but he knew well the legend of the Greek pantheonâs famed Wonder Woman. However, he had no wish to give away the ladyâs divine origin or his own while they were surrounded by mortals. A respectful bow of his head preceded his next remark. âI am TĂ˝r. May I know your name?â
OOC: Since seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Iâve concluded that anyone who claims MCU Loki is âpsychoâ, âcrazyâ, or any of those other slurs the haters like to hurl...
They should be sat down and made to watch Dawn of Justice. Because all that stuff they claim Loki is, Lex Luthor definitely is. And boooooooy does he come across very very differently (and scarier) than Loki ever did. Iâm not hating on Lex either - heâs an interesting villain, fun to watch, and yes there are moments when you can sympathize with him. I like him. But he is broken in a way that cannot be fixed. And itâs a glaringly stark contrast between him and Loki.
