The One Winged Angel VS The Voice of God
It has been made known that Lucifer cannot actually harm Sinners. His own punishment for denying God’s will, the only exception being those who are trying to deny diving law by escaping the stygian abyss. Otherwise he cannot touch them, he is not a true king of Hell he is just another prisoner. So long as they aren’t trying to escape, the denizens of Hell, nay, Vox and his new followers can actually defeat the devil, after that they can just leave Hell as they please. And thanks to Carmilla it is also discovered that angels can be harmed by the same steel their weapons are made of, a discovery made public when she enacted a campaign that led to the capture of Adam. Thus Vox holds an assembly for all of the denizens of Pentagram City tired of having to suffer the farce of a rule under the Morningstar Family, having Carmilla arm the many attendees with newly christened weapons of all the angel steel her company had on hand. Even holding this assembly before the Princess of Hell’s own little vanity project the Hazbin Hotel threatening to tear it down, practically daring the false king of hell to show himself and try to save his daughter. And as the boasting Vox took to the sky he rallied the rest of the crowd to his cause, forming glorious looking wings to further inspire them. He was to be their way to salvation. He was their god now.
“All hail Vox Populi, the voice of the people! All hail Vox Dei, the voice of God!”
It came without warning. A blackened shadow souring through the air passing right by the creature known as Shock.Nav, the very existence of this shadow coming with a swift sound of cutting steel signaling the creature’s sudden splitting in half and falling upon several onlookers. This dark shadow then swept through the VoxTek stage, every paid employee cleaved in two to four pieces by a blade too fast to behold. And then the shadow appeared before the angelic looking Vox, appearing as a man in black holding a long sword covered in the blood of slain Simmers, this man having but one single black wing. This man in black introduced himself as Sephiroth, an envoy who was here to bargain for peace between Heaven and Hell, even bringing a gift to the self imposed true leader of Hell in a sign of faith. Vox laughs,
“What, an apology basket full of candy and plush toys?!”
Sephiroth warps right in front of Vox, staring the Sinner in the eye with a glare full of killing intent, Sephiroth’s gentle smile was just as blood chilling, “Sorry, the present shop was all out of those, instead the gift I have brought for you…..is despair.”
Not even seven minutes later, the battle was over. It was a vision straight out of a nightmare. Sephiroth standing there, sword raised up with the defeated and broken Vox impaled upon it through the neck. And as Sephiroth’s sole wing was spread strong for all to see, Vox’s own wings were but shards of broken monitors dangling on wires. And as Sephiroth turned his gaze upon the horrified crowd his eyes glowed with such killing intent that even the most evil among them felt their blood run cold. “Where is your ‘God’ now?” With a flick of his wrist he decapitates the self appointed voice of the people, send the television head flying through the air and Vox flying towards the crowd. The rest of Vox just flopped down upon the ground with a hard smacking flop. But even with the blood of the lowly Sinner upon its surface, Sephiroth's blade was still thirsty, pointing towards the crowd craving more blood to drink. “Seven. Seven seconds until the end. Time enough for you, perhaps. But what will you do with it? Let's find out.........seven......six......five.....four.....”
And with that everyone in the crowd started running.
