Heavy sounds of the rain filled the uncomfortable silence between you and Sevika.
Sevika’s stare was so intense, making you realize how drastically different the size difference was between you and her. You didn’t prepare for this. You weren’t prepared for all of this to come crashing so soon.
"What is this y/n?" Sevika's voice starts to crack. You've never seen her energy change so quickly.
"It's a list. A list I had made to hurt you." I couldn't even face her. My eyes dropped down to the floor in shame. I physically felt my stomach begun to drop.
Sevika looked down at the page in my notebook. Her eyes examine the pape serching for an answer to why but it was no where to be found.
"Just .. why? Why would you do that to me? To us?" She paused. "I thought you liked me (y/n)?"
It was strange picture I was looking at. Sevika always seemed so rugged. Ever since you've known her, she seemed like a force that couldnt be wrecken with. So indestructible. But now, she looked like a flower that was built in concrete.
So fragile.
"You have to know that this was before I knew my feelings for you. Before we even liked each other! I swear!" I pleaded.
I wanted her to believe me so desperately. But how could she? I didn't even have the courage to bring the list up first.
The rain continued to pour. Filling the thick emptiness that surrounded the room.
Sevika was the one to speak up first, "I think it's best if you leave."
I couldnt musker up a response. Rush of emotions filled me up as I gather my things. Not once I looked her in the eyes, I felt so ashamed.
As I walked out the door, I felt cold. Not cold from the rain but cold from the inside.
My heart started to freeze without the warmth of her embrace.
୨୧
"Take the medicine (y/n)."
"No I don't deserve to get better."
"Ohemgee (y/n) stop being so damn dramatic and take it!"
Caitlyn was in your room force feeding you and trying to get you to take your cold medicine.
"I still can't believe you walked almost two hours in the rain to get home. Just like a damn idiot. You could have called me."
"I deserved it. Cait you should have seen Sevika's face, she was so upset and torn. I'm such a horrible person." I said while blowing my nose into a tissue.
"(y/n) you know I love you but you're being a dummy. You guys just need to spend some time apart, that's all. Plus you knew deep down this would happen sooner or later. You never told her about the list nor did you try to even hide it."
Caitlyn paused, "Now take the damn medicine."
You gave into Caitlyn request, you drunk a sip of it and cleared your throat.
"What if she doesn't want me back Cait? What if I lost her forever?"
Caitlyn turned around and sighed, "Then it wasn't meant to be. Whatever happens will happen."
Caitlyn took a look around, "And please clean your room. It's a mess in here."
"I'm too depressed to clean."
"No you're not, stop allowing this whole thing derail you from who you are. In all my years of knowing you, your room never looked like this. Now clean."
You took the slowest steps and dragged your feet. You know Caitlyn is right. You need to get your shit together. But you keep finding a certain person clouding your mind.
"I miss her Cait. Fuck I'm going crazy."
Caitlyn sighs heavy and takes a sip of her tea that your mother made for her. She stared at your wall contemplating her next words very carefully, "Then do something about it."
"Like what tho?"
"Girl I'm not dating her, you have to really sit and think about it. Take the time to think about how you can salvage that relationship and first of all friendship that you lost. You also have to consider if that's something she even wants."
You sat with Caitlyn's words fully letting it hit you. "I really hate when you're right."
"Love you too. Now please clean your room, it's making me itch."

It's been at least a full week since you and Sevika has spoken. You decided to give her and yourself some space. You did your usuals, homework, student council, and chores. But you also reflected a lot aswell. You wanted Sevika but not if you weren't in the best mindset to even talk to her. You fucked up and now you have to live with the consequences.
You left your last class of the day and prepared yourself for the bus ride home. It's been a long week and you just watched to decompress and watch cute kitten videos in your bed wearing your comfort hoodie.
Walking up to your locker it felt as if time frozen but you were completely melting.
Sevika stood there in front of your locker staring down at her dirty sneakers. As you walked up she lifted her head up and the two of you made eye contact.
"Hey." she said.
"Hey." You said right back.
The sound of school air felt right through the two of you. Silence emptiness wasn't terrifying but not exactly thrilling.
"We should talk .." Sevika didn't make eye contact which wasn't exactly helping your nerves.
"We should." You replied.
Sevika held out her hands which to you gave her a puzzled expression.
"Come on, hand me your bag. I'll drive."
You handed Sevika your school bag and the two of you walked side by side to her truck.
For the first time this week, you felt okay.
We're gonna be okay.

"Come on sweetheart we're here."
You opened your eyes and you were surprised to see Sevika pulling up to your house. You don't even remember falling asleep.
"We're here already?"
"Yeah traffic was light on the drive back, now come on sleepy let's get you to bed."
"But I'm comfortable hereee." You were lying. You were very uncomfortable, from falling asleep against the car window and now you have a cricket in your neck but anything to spend more time with Sevika.
"Nope come on, let's go."
Before you even had time to rebuttal, Sevika opened the car door on her side. She walked all the way over to your side and opened the door. You couldn't even start to protest against her because the next thing you knew you were getting picked up and placed on Sevika's back.
And you enjoyed that way more than you should have.
As the two of you walked to your front porch, you searched your purse for your keys. While you searched Sevika stood awkwardly behind you, unsure of what to do with herself. You ended up finding your keys less than two minutes later. “Sooo” Sevika commented. She stood tall while she made both of her hands in her pockets reminding you of a familiar meme. (that chill guy one *cue music*)
“Soooo?” You replied back.
“Do you perhaps think .. That I maybe can get a kiss goodnight?”
You laughed at that football star, somewhat amused with her shyness. You walked up closer to Sevika, you tiptoed a bit to even the height difference by the two of you even if it was just the slightest. You kissed Sevika's soft luscious lips, enjoying the warmth you got from her lips. Sevika pressed her lips against yours matching the same energy. Not wanting to do too much or do too little. It was just right.
"Ahem."
The two of you stopped, you turned your body to see who made that sound and you were greeted with your father staring at the two of you. He was standing directly in front of the front door.
Your face begun to felt warm with the rush of embarrassment you got. You quickly said goodbye to Sevika and walked inside your house, making a run for it.
Sevika stared at your father awkwardly and he completed the same motion.
"So .. I'm just gonna go if that's okay."
"Yes. Goodnight." Your father closed and locked the door for the night.
As Sevika walked to her car, she couldn't help but have a smile on her face as she thought of you.
୨୧
Your arms grew tired as you carried the box that almost weighed just as much as you into your high school's gymnasium. You and the rest of the student council were setting up for the winter masquerade ball. The ball was still a week away but the council decided it would be better to set up earlier and make sure that everything was in order. Since exams were still happening, no gym classes has been scheduled. So the gym was pretty much free.
Time was flying by and you almost couldn't keep up. All of this planning for the ball had you grown tiresome. You had help yes but, since you were the student body president, most of the responsibilities fell onto you.
"You need help with that?"
Sevika walked up to you while grabbing the heavy box from you. "Where do you need me to put this?"
"You can put it in that corner over there babe!" You guided the older girl.
Yes you and Sevika are that that stage now where you say romantic pet names.
Is she your girlfriend yet? No.
And you had no fucking clue why.
It's been a full month and two weeks since the two of you started talking and getting to know each other seriously. You thought by now she would have asked you to officially be hers, but you've been left disappointed.
"What are you doing here after school?" You questioned.
"Remember you're talking to a football player. We have to practice after school." Sevika offered you sarcasm and to which you replied with rolling your eyes.
You rolled your eyes back, “Can’t a girl just forget things sometimes?”
Sevika laughed at you while pushing a strand of your hair behind your ears, “So you’re gonna tutor me later teach?”
Shit.
You’ve been meaning to talk to Sevika about your (failed) plan to get revenge on her but it’s been slipping your mind recently. With your extracurriculars consuming your life you haven’t had much time to even think. You have to tell her. It’s only right.
Just how should you go about telling her ..
“Hey Vikaaa.”
You whipped your head around to hear who was talking to your Sevika like that. No surprise here, it’s just Mel.
Mel looked gorgeous. When doesn’t she? Everytime you’ve seen Mel during school, she just seem to ooze an unearthly amount of grace. Perfect in every possible way.
Envy.
You envied her for it.
“You got practice today?”
You were surprised to say the least. Sevika ignored Mel’s presence. It was as if Mel didn’t exist. Mel seemed to get the picture, walking away without a second thought saving herself from the embarrassment that seemed to attempt to come from the shadows.
“Babe, are you ready to leave yet?” Sevika called you back to reality.
“Yeah, yeah I’m ready. I think we’re done for today.” You located your backpack and looked around your surroundings to make sure you had everything with you.
“Let’s go, love.”
୨୧
“I can’t believe you both are dating yet.”
“Me either.”
“Like seriously, nearly fingered each other last week but can’t put a label on the relationship.”
“Caitlyn please I’m eating.”
“You did it not me.”
“Caitlyn.”
You and Caitlyn were seated in her living room completing homework together. Since you've been so busy with school lately you hardly had time to catch up with your best friend. It's been two days since you last helped Sevika with her schoolwork and making her she's on the right track. It's now wednesday night and you found out that she started seeing Maddie recently. Maddie is the girl that approached Caitlyn a few moments before you found Vi sucking on another's girls face.
"So how's you and Maddie?"
"Changing the subject aren't we?"
"Yes we are."
Caitlyn froze before she could answer your question. You assumed she was stuck on a problem with how her face scrunched up. She tapped the pencil on her mouth repeatedly, thinking hard. Moments later she seemed to have found the answer. "Not much to say honestly. She seems chill and we have okay chemistry. The sex I'll say, is great so far."
A few feet away, Cassandra, Caitlyn's mother was in the kitchen. She was making a certain type of pasta for dinner. "I didn't hear that Caitlyn, right?"
Caitlyn's face begun to turn red and you couldn't help but laugh, "Sure."
Before Cassandra could respond, the house phone that was in the living room begun to ring. "We'll finish this conversation later Caitlyn."
"Yeah yeah sure."
Caitlyn waited for a moment just to make sure her mother couldn't hear her. "Like I was saying, the sex is great. Like when it's so good you're just completely satisfied. You get what I mean, right?"
You blinked at Caitlyn dumbfounded.
You did not get what she meant.
"Y/n, you and Vi had sex right?"
"Define sex."
"Oh my goodness, you're a virgin."
"Wait wait, Vi and I were planning on eventually getting to that point but .. we failed to even say together."
"So you don't even know how is?"
You started at your best friend confused, not even sure what she's referring to, "No I don't know 'how even is'?"
"Wow I can't believe it. You guys were together for a while and didn't even do anything. I'm shocked. This is shocking news."
"Girl Relax."
"No seriously, like wow." Caitlyn had a (dramatic) shocked expression on her face. You assumed this would equivalent to possibly finding out that there would be a war again.
"Well .. I didn't want to rush it. I wanted to make sure that she was the one. I'm glad I waited."
"That's fair, it could be worse. Your first time could have been with a cheater."
"See, so it's fine. No biggie."
Caitlyn thought for a moment, wondering if what was going to ask you would be appropriate. "So hypothetically if Sevika wanted to have sex, would you consent?"
Huh.
You never thought about it.
Sevika hasn't even asked you to be her girlfriend yet, your mind hasn't even wandered to the thought of Sex yet.
"I'm not sure. Whenever is the right time will be right time." You never thought of Sevika in that way. Definitely she was attractive. You could have easily have admitted that even when you hated her guts. There was just something so attractive about the older girl, how easily it was for her to be so charismatic. From her height (the fact that she's insanely tall adds a lot of points), her gorgeous face that you can't even fathom how a high schooler looks like that, to her overall energy. It's easy to find her attractive.
You never thought of being intimate with her yet, but now the thought is in your head you can't get it out.
"How do you even .. do that?" You asked Caitlyn, hoping she would at least have some answers.
"Um well. It's hard to explain."
Great.
"How is hard to explain? I thought you had 'super great sex'. You were just bragging about it."
"Well it's different from me having sex compared to you having sex. That's something you have to just be in the moment for."
You started to sulk. How were you supposed to be ready if you don't know what to expect?
"By the way, are you gonna eat those?" Caitlyn pointed to the bag of chips that were placed in your lap.
"Knock yourself out." You passed her the chips and she instantly devoured them.
You glanced at your phone that was placed on the coffee table, the time read 5:02 pm. You needed to get to Sevika’s place in time to tutor her. You gathered your belongings and put in your coat, “I’m gonna get going Cait.”
“Do you have to gooo?” Caitlyn pleaded, lying dramatically on the couch.
“Yes Caitlyn you know I tutor Sevika at this time every week.”
“I remember when you had time for the first love of your life.”
“Oh please” You laughed at your best friend’s antics.
Cassandra walked back into the living room to go straight to the kitchen, she paused to look at you, “You’re leaving already (Y/n)?”
“Yes I have to get going now.” You looked around just double check you had everything.
“Okay then, please be careful out there.”
“Mom she’ll be like okay.” Caitlyn replied while texting on her phone, not even glancing up to look at her mother.
“You know Caitlyn, I didn’t forget about our conversation from earlier.”
“Ah damnit.”
୨୧
The pitter patter of the rain repeatedly hit against the windows, the rain has been nonstop for two hours now. Luckily you got to Sevika’s before you got soaked.
The two of you had been doing practice questions over and over again. You wanted to make sure that she got at least the basics down, there was a huge chemistry midterm approaching this Friday and you hoped that Sevika would be ready by that. Sevika actually was a pretty decent learner. The only thing that was preventing herself from actually getting the grades to prove it was herself. Sevika lacked the discipline and the care to want to have good grades. If football wasn’t her main motivation then she probably would have just flunked.
“Vika, what’s a binary compound?”
“Hm, i assume a compound of two elements?”
“Yes! Perfect! How about a combustion reaction?”
“Would it be a chemical change?”
“Close, there’s a bit more.”
Sevika paused. She thought about the answer for a couple of seconds, “A compound reacting with oxygen often producing energy in light and water, giving you a chemical change.”
You moved your body a bit closer to the football star, you gently pressed your lips against her cheeks to give her a kiss. “You did amazing.”
“I have a really good teacher.” Sevika placed her finger underneath your chin, she moved your face closer to hers to properly give you a kiss. You wouldn’t ever get tired of kissing her.
If you could kiss her for eternity.
The rain slammed hard against the windows, making you jump just a tiny bit.
“Wow it’s pouring isn’t it.”
“Yeah it looks insane out there.”
Randomly you had the urge to pee really bad, “I’m gonna use the bathroom. Make sure you continue working on the practice problems.” You got up and begun to all to the bathroom upstairs.
“You got it teach!” Sevika called out after you.
You laughed while walking away, making your way to the bathroom.
Sevika did exactly what you said and continued working on the problems. While she was writing her pencil broke. “Fuck.” She mentally cursed herself. She has a sharper but it was all the way upstairs in her room and she didn’t feel like walking that far to get it. Sevika assumed you would have one in your bag. She got up to retrieve it, while getting up she ended up accidentally knocking your notebook on the floor. When Sevika bent down to pick up your book a page she’s never seen before caught her attention.
You walked down the stairs, surprised to see Sevika standing up. Her back was facing yours so she didn’t see you approaching.
“I thought I told you to do the problems huh Sevika?” You joked.
Sevika turned around with an expression you’ve never seen her wear.
She held the notebook to face you, the page reading something you dread to share with her.
“Takedown demon spawn?”
Now it was your turn to wear an unfamiliar expression.
You weren’t prepared to explain.
“(Y/n) what is this?”

I loved Don’t Speak, Is there a part 2? I would love to see what happens next with Caitlyn, lots of jealousy/angst, does she try to win her back?
don't speak ♱ ༄ pt. 2
synopsis: Your relationship with Caitlyn has ran its course. All the late night fights, shouts, and apologies weren't worth it anymore. You both know it's over.
tags!&warnings!: angst like a lott of angst, depressed caitlyn lowkey toxic, men and minors dni!!, might include typos, mentions of cheating, no use of y/n, vvv short!
part one!
inspired by the glee version of don't speak <3
Caitlyn wanted everything to do with you.
She missed you.
Your laughter, the warmth you brought to her, how you would look at her like she was the only one that mattered.
It's been years since she's last saw you. Maybe five or eight? She lost count after year three. She's been hopeful that she'll see you passing by or see you at an event but her luck has gone dry. After losing you all she's done is just devote herself into her work. Not wanting to allow herself to think, if she thinks too hard then her mind will just go back to you.
Caitlyn knows she's fucked up. Everyone tells her that this is all of her fault and she's aware.
Caitlyn has been going to therapy recently, and she's noticed changes in herself. She's been more honest lately. She's been proud of herself. She only wished that you knew she was working on herself.
"I'll see you there right Caitlyn?" Mel asked, the council was having a memorial event for all of the lives that had been lost during the war against the Noxian forces led by Ambessa, Mel's mother.
"I'm not sure."
"Caitlyn you have to move on. And the only way you can do that is if you surround yourself with people that love you. Not coped up inside."
Caitlyn knew that Mel was right, she hasn't been out much since you left her. She doesn't feel like she deserves to have a good time, not after what she's done to you.
"Just think about it? Okay?"
"Okay."
And Caitlyn did, that's how she ended up here. Wearing her infamous color, blue. A deep blue ball gown with strappy black heels to pair alongside with. Surrounded by people she rather have nothing to do with. She's been at this event for the past two hours now and Caitlyn has grown restless. All she's done has been shaking hands and saying "Thank you for coming". She rather be doing anything else.
Growing tired of others, Caitlyn decided she wanted a drink. She dragged herself to the bar. She ordered herself a French 75, wanting to taste the effervescence of the champagne mixed with bubbly citrusy taste. Before Caitlyn knew it, she's ordered herself six of them wanting to drink anyway any feelings she has in that exact moment.
"May I please have an Old Fashioned Espresso Martini?"
Caitlyn froze.
She remembers that voice.
She remembers that specific order.
Her heart has been aching to hear that voice again.
Caitlyn walked looked around and her eyes had landed on you. You look different.
You looked happier.
You got your drink and then you walked away, Caitlyn couldn't help but follow you. Caitlyn followed you all the way to the balcony where you just stared in the distance. She felt bad for interrupting your peace. You remained like a picture forever frozen in time. Almost as if you were a porcelain doll, painted very carefully. Delicately beautiful.
"Hey you." That voice was familiar to you. A voice that you painfully recognized. A voice you didn't want to remember.
You spun around, your eyes meeting the girl who you once loved. Who you swore that the two of you would be together forever. The girl that broke your heart.
"What do you want?"
"I don't get a happier greeting than that?"
"Do you think you deserve it?" You asked Caitlyn.
Caitlyn shook her head, "No. No I don't. I don't even deserve to look at you right now."
"That's true."
Caitlyn couldn't help but be in awe by looking at you. You have changed since she last saw you, you changed but still in a way where you're still familiar to her. You still have the same sparkle in your eyes, the same sparkle that she adores.
"You look good."
"What do you want Caitlyn?" You felt tense. If you had known that she would be here then you would have declined Mel's invitation. You haven't thought about Caitlyn in years, and you liked it that way. After months of sorrowfulness and crying, you finally picked up and put back together the pieces that Caitlyn has broken. You felt good about yourself.
Of course it has to be Caitlyn to ruin it.
"I just wanted to talk to you."
"About what?"
"I wanted to see how you're doing."
"I'm doing fine."
The tension between you both could cut ice. Caitlyn felt it so she knew you felt it too. She deserves this energy. She knows she does. She doesn't deserve the sweetness you once had for her.
"I've missed you."
Caitlyn was met with silence. She regretted saying that to you but she had to get it off her chest. She had to let you know how she felt. She couldn't hold it in any longer.
"I don't."
And with that you left Caitlyn on the balcony, all alone. Not once you looked backed. Caitlyn was your past and all you cared about now was your future. Caitlyn could fuck herself for all you cared. All the love you had for her, would forever be gone.
All Caitlyn could do now is cry. She didn't know she was crying until she felt the tears rolling down her face.
Caitlyn has lost you forever.
You will forever be the one that got away.
Until death consumes her.
Caitlyn will only be thinking of you.

Your mind felt a treadmill with all the running around it was doing. Running fast but somehow in the same place. You've overwhelmed it. Unsure of the next.
You've been standing in the same spot for six minutes. All you needed to do was cross the street to get to school. But you're stuck.
So much as happened this past weekend that you're scared of what you'll endure when you open the school doors.
You've kept in contact with Sevika over the weekend. When you got home after Caitlyn's house your eyes were practically glued to the screen with how much you were texting her. You're surprised you got any work done.
You had to move, you didn't have much of a choice. School starts in fifteen minutes. Feeling ponderous and powerless, you dragged your feet across the street to your high school building. The moment you entered you were hit with anxiety. You didn't want to face Vi.
You walked up to your locker, seeing Sevika already there. A smile found its way to your face. Even though you hated her for two years and a half, seeing her right now in this moment brought you so much peace.
Sevika walked up to you as you approached your locker. Giving you a tight hug and then a kissed on the forehead, "Hey beautiful."
Hearing Sevika call you pet names made you feel a way you never felt before with Vi. Not wanting to compare but you can't help it. You thought being with Vi was enough, that being with her was something you had to do. But you don't have to do anything, you should want to.
And right now you want to be with Sevika.
"What a beautiful fucking sight, it's the happy couples guys."
You turned to the left side of you and you already knew who it was, she didn't need an introduction.
"You better watch yourself Lanes.", Sevika defended the two of you.
"What your girlfriend can't speak for herself now?"
"Vi what do you want?" You hoped she would leave soon, you couldn't even stand the sight of her face, it was like a rush of repulsion. She had no right to have the audacity to talk to you like this.
"I want a lot of things, for starters, when did you and muscle woman started dating? You know we never 'officially' broke up."
You looked beside you and you practically saw the fumes coming from Sevika's head, "How long have you been cheating on me?"
"Answer my question first."
There was now a crowd of people in the hallway, everyone was dissecting what was going on between the three of you. You didn't want all of this attention, maybe your negativity brought it into reality but you knew this was going to happen.
"Vi why don't you leave (Y/n) alone? She doesn't want to talk to you." Sevika took a step closer to Vi, asserting dominance over her. It seemed to work a little bit, Vi seemed imitated. But not that much.
"Just because you're inhumanely massive, you don't scare me." Vi pushed Sevika away from her.
Sevika pushed Vi back to the lockers, her back slamming against it. There was a lot of "ooo" and "ahhh" in the crowd, trying to instigate a fight. The bell rung meaning that school would be starting soon. But no one moved. It was as if everyone was glued to watching the scene unfold, not caring about the consequences later on.
"Vi that's enough." You walked closer to her, you just want all of this to be over with.
"That's crazy, that's so crazy. You probably didn't say that when she was fucking you. You probably said keep going and-" Before you knew it, your fist made contact with her face.
And it felt so good.
You didn't realize what you had done until everyone just stopped. No movements, no talking, just everyone staring at you. Great.
Just what you wanted.
Was that the best possible thing you could have done? No. Definitely not. But did you feel better afterwards? Oh You felt insanely good.
You had to have punched Vi hard enough for her to have fallen to the ground, She looked stunned. Not even thinking it was a possibility you would have punched her. She remembered you slapping her but to her that barely hurt. That punch hurt her more than she would have admitted.
Through the crowd you heard footsteps, sounds of heels clacking on the hard school floors. The figure emerged from the crowd, stepping forward.
"Who would like to explain what is happening here?"
୨୧
"No way."
"Way."
"You did not get detention."
"Caitlyn I swear we do this everytime."
"You're lying, no way Miss teacher's pet got detention."
"I'm literally holding a detention slip in my hand. What else do you want?"
Caitlyn and you have been catching up over lunch in the cafeteria. You were beyond grateful that the two of you shared a lunch period.
"So what did the principal say?"
"Well she expressed her disappointment a little bit but she wasn't mad. Well that mad." When the principal asked what was going on, it was embarrassingly quiet. No student wanted to be the first to speak up. After ten long seconds, you finally caved and told her what happened.
She expressed her disappointment in you and hoped she wouldn't catch you doing something like this again. She gave you and Sevika detention, while Vi got a week's worth of suspension. Vi ended up getting a worser punishment considering she instigating the turnout.
You thought you would have been in a distress after receiving news about detention but you're handling it way better than you thought. It could have been worse. You could have had gotten suspended like Vi for a week or longer, or had your position as class president terminated. Having detention seemed like your best bet.
"I'm just mad that every time you do something crazy I'm never there. It's like you plan it each time."
"I'm appalled that you found a way to make this about yourself Cait."
"You love me anyways."
"Muscle woman is crazy though." Caitlyn giggled remembering the details from what just occurred.
"Shut up Caitlyn."
A few seconds after you felt a warmth on your shoulder, looking up your eyes met Sevika. You couldn't help but notice the nervous expression that was placed upon her face.
"Damn Sevika what you're so afraid of?"
"Hi there to you Kiramman."
Sevika sat down next you on the lunch table's bench. She wrapped her arm around you proudly, not caring about what others had to say.
"(Y/n) would you mind if I walked you to class early? There's something I need to ask you."
"No I wouldn't mind, Caitlyn would you been okay by yourself."
"I'm not six (Y/n), go please leave." Caitlyn mocked you by doing pleading hands, you rolled your eyes while simultaneously picking up your lunch tray to discard while you left.
As the two of you walked to your sixth period, Sevika (smoothly) intertwined her hands with yours. Her hands felt so soft and very inviting. They were bigger than yours but not that much bigger to the point where it felt overwhelming. Your hands fit like a glove to Sevika. Like a puzzle piece that's been missing for years and now everything makes sense to Sevika now that you're here.
"Sooooo, what's new?"
"Vika just ask me, I don't bite." You smiled at her, finding amusement in her shyness.
"You do bite."
"And you liked it."
"That is true."
Sevika had stopped the two of you. She gently let go of your hands. She stood in front of you now, looking at you but really looking at you. It was a challenge for Sevika to not stare at you. She's always thought you were beautiful, you had this certain beauty that the older girl couldn't get enough of. And she didn't want to let you go.
"(Y/n) would you make me the happiest girl in the world and go out with me tonight?" Sevika clenched the singular strap of her backpack while avoiding eye contact with yours. She was so nervous. What if you said no? Or laughed at her? Sevika would like to think that she's a very confident person all round, but something about you makes her want to believe in love. This was a new craving she chased. You were a drug to her. One taste of you and she knows she'll never be the same again.
She's praying she doesn't fuck this up.
"I would love to go on a date with you, Sevika." You instantly replied. You could feel how much your cheeks were going to hurt by how much you were smiling. You felt happy. You liked being happy.
Sevika lifted you off the ground and spun you around, she couldn't hold in her excitement. Sevika was really going on a date with you. She reluctantly put you down, scared to break away from you. Scared that the light you brought in her life would go away. You were her peace of mind.
Sevika was falling and boy was she falling hard.
She didn't mind falling as long as it'd be you to pick her again and again.
You rampaged your closet, every piece of clothing you found you suddenly hated it.
It was now Saturday afternoon and you were getting ready for your date with Sevika. The week flew by quickly, you served your detention time, you and the student council continued plans for the winter masquerade ball, and you were focusing on school. Fortunately this week was surprisingly less stressful than your usual weeks. Maybe being with cough cough she that shall not be named anymore was an added stressful factor. You felt really good.
You hesitantly asked your parents for permission for your first date with Sevika. Which also caused you having to explain to your parents what happened between you and Vi. They never liked Vi that much anyways. Your father always thought she was a bit of a kiss ass.
You added the finishing touches to your makeup, while applying a bit of lipgloss you heard your door bell ring. You grabbed your purse and made your way downstairs. Your mother opened the door for Sevika and invited her inside your home. Your father who was in the kitchen made his way to the older girl. You did a quick speed walk down the steps, scared of what your father will say.
"Good afternoon Mr and Mrs (your last name). I brought these for (Y/n) and for you Mrs. (L/n)." Sevika handed you and your mother two beautiful bouquets of flowers each. Your bouquet was a beautiful mix of pink peonies, azaleas, and tulips. While your mothers was red roses, dahlias, and marigolds. They were absolutely breathtaking.
"Oh my goodness, these are marvelous!" Your mother exclaimed. She took her bouquet and studied it, like she was taking in every detail of the flowers.
"Thank you Vika, you didn't have to do this." You also took your bouquet from Sevika, this was your first time receiving flowers. You were very appreciative of them, not knowing how to act without scaring Sevika away. Even though you doubted she would be scared of you.
"So, where are you taking my daughter?" Your father used his authoritative voice, trying to intimidate her. You rolled your eyes and laughed at your dad. He's the sweetest man you know. You glanced over at Sevika not thinking she would be affected by his tone but she looked scared shitless. You wondered what happened to the girl that wasn't afraid of anyone.
She found her match, and that was your father.
Sevika looked over at you and then your father. She walked up to him and whispered in his ears, your father eyes lit up and then he walked over to your mother and did the same action to her. A smile found its way to her face.
"Very well, just have her home by 11:00 pm. No second later." Your father said.
You looked around the room, "What's with the whispering?"
"(Y/n) sweetie don't be rude. It's a secret." Your mother answered while placing the flowers in a vase, she already put the water in and had cut off the stem.
You rolled your eyes at them. They had just met less than ten minutes ago, how do they already have secrets. You walked over to the closest that was wedged between the front door and the living room and grabbed your coat. Sevika opened the front door for you, and said goodbye to your parents. You told them the same thing with an added "love you". The two of you walked up to her truck, the football star held your car door open and made sure you were settled in before closing the door.
As Sevika began to drive, she intertwined her right hand with yours, while the left stayed on the steering wheel. She drove through Piltover, making way to the destination. Roughly around ten minutes passed, you couldn't help yourself so you had to ask. "Where are we going?"
"Not telling."
"Whyyyyy?" You tried using pleading eyes but Sevika intentionally looked away focusing on the road, not wanting to give into you.
"Becauseee we're about to be there. Can you be patience?" Sevika mocked you, she squeezed your hand tight. "I think you'll love what I have in store for you."
You tried holding in your excitement but you were struggling bad. You didn't care what Sevika had planned, you wouldn't even care if the plans were to get out of a dumpster. All you wanted to do was spend time with her.
"Okay close your eyes."
"What?"
"Your eyes. Close them."
Not wanting to resort to your usual banter, you decided to humor Sevika and for once listen to her. As you shut your eyes, Sevika continued to drive the two of you to the destination.
She pulled into the parking lot, "Okay keep your eyes closed. I'll guide you."
You hummed meaning okay. You felt silly sitting in the car while your eyes closed giving Sevika all of your trust but you were having fun, you were enjoying yourself so much and the date hasn't even started yet.
Sevika helped you get out of the car and guided you towards where she had set up. "You can open your eyes now love."
When you opened your eyes you were greeted with a stunning picnic set up and your favorite library. You gasped in astonishment. There was a blanket on the floor placed in the middle with a beautiful blue picnic basket. You also noticed and couldn't help but love the fort that was made out of books.
"Sevika, how did you even manage to do this?" You pulled her in for a close hug, feeling so much admiration for her.
"I asked Caitlyn what did you like to do in your free time, she told me you come to this library a lot." She hugged you back while patting your head.
"I love it. I love this so much. Thank you Vika."
"Anytime love, now can we eat please? I'm starving."
"Come on." You giggled while holding her hands in yours while the two of you made your way to the picnic fort.
୨୧
"Oh come on you have to pick one."
"Those choices are horrible."
"Sevika it's not hard."
"Why are my only choices being abandoned in a warehouse during a zombie apocalypse or being shot in the head by a zombie? And how can a zombie use a gun?"
"You're not supposed to think about it that hard."
"It's hard not to, I need new choices."
"Sevikaaa."
You and Sevika have been in your library fort, just enjoying the presence of each other. The two of you got to know each other a bit better. You found out a lot about the older girl that you wouldn't have expected. You found out that Sevika is a hugeee marvel fan (her favorite marvel character is spider-man), she secretly loves jpop, and she gardens.
You were sitting up while Sevika's head was in your lap, you felt so comfortable being with her. The two of you ate the food Sevika had packed earlier, she packed all of your favorites and you couldn't have been happier. You were having so much fun with her that you didn't want it to end. Being with Sevika was easy and it carefree. You didn't have to think too hard, everything just became so natural.
"Vika?"
"Hmm?"
"I have another question."
"Ask away darling."
You ran your fingers through her hair, taking a deep breath. "Is it okay if we kissed?"
Sevika removed her head from your lap to look at you. Once her eyes made contact with yours it felt like she was melting away from pure bliss. Sevika moved closer to you, cupping your face with her hand. You couldn't help but press your face against her hand as the both of you broke the space that was separating the two of you.
You missed the way her lips felt on yours. You became addiction to the sensation you felt with her, this was nothing you ever experienced before and you didn't want to ever forget feeling like this. You didn't want to break away from Sevika, her lips felt so soft against yours and you couldn't get enough. You threw her arms against Sevika as the pulled your body closer to hers. Kissing Sevika was slow but passionate at the same time. You felt as if you were in a bliss, melting away from all of the stress you felt from the past. None of that matters now, the only person that mattered was Sevika.
Sevika has kissed handful of girls before you. Sevika could say she was definitely more experienced than you in a bunch of departments (sexual and non sexual), but none of that matters to Sevika now. The only girl she wants is you. Right after Sevika dropped you off at Caitlyn's after you stayed the night at her place, Sevika blocked all of the girls that she had a relationship with in the past. She didn't care about them, and she doesn't believe she ever had. She liked how they made her feel, she liked the attention. Sevika has always wanted to be with you.
Now that she has you, she won't do anything to jeopardize this.
She cares for you too much.
As Sevika drove you home, she couldn't help but smile as she would glance every now and then at you and watched you sleep. Not in a creepy way (obviously not) but more of in a appreciation for you way. Right after the two of you decided it was getting late and you should make your way home, you had fallen asleep within five minutes of Sevika driving, and Sevika couldn't help but call you adorable over and over again in her head.
Sevika had a plan to ask you to be her girlfriend.
She just hopes everything goes smoothly as she planned.
Sevika knows this is too early to say but she doesn't care at all, she wants to marry you. Not anytime soon, considering both of you are in high school still but eventually. In the future she wants you to become her wife.
She wants a family, something she didn't get to experience much as she grew up. She really likes you, heck Sevika might believe that she's in love with you.
All the love that she has for you is free and there's not a price on her loyalty.
Sevika has become hopelessly devoted to you.

Immediately after you told Sevika what happened she came within 8 minutes, and then she apologized because she "took too long".
"I can't believe she did that."
"It's fine Sevika."
"What do you mean it's fine (Y/n)? Nah i'm beating her ass."
"No you're not."
"Yes the fuck I am. Who's gonna stop me?"
"Me."
Sevika turned her head to face you for a second while she drove. She was driving the both of you back to her place so you can spend the night with her. You didn't feel like waiting for Caitlyn to be done.
"(Y/n) I honestly think it's really cute how you genuinely think you can put me in my place."
"I mean it Sevika. You're not gonna do or say anything to her."
She didn't say anything after that but just continued focusing on the road. You're grateful she didn't say anything because you didn't have much to say. You didn't want to think about Vi right now. All you wanted to do was sleep. Sleeping and crying were the only things on your agenda right now.
As the two of you walked up to her house, you instantly felt a wave of exhaustion rush over you. You were tired. You've been tired. You just always had something to do so you couldn't exactly focus on how tired you were.
Oh boy you're feeling it now.
"Okay so you can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the couch."
"Wait no I'll feel bad, you take the couch."
"(Y/n) does everything have to be a back and forth with you? Just take my bed you need your rest."
You cross your arms against your chest. "And you don't?"
Sevika sighed, "You know what. Fine. We can both share my bed."
Well that's not what you were expecting.
"I'll sleep on the floor."
"I swear (Y/n)-"
"Okay damn. I'll shut up."
Sevika looked at you for a second and walked to her closet, "Yeah you're not coming in my bed with your outside clothes you have on. You can borrow a t shirt of mine."
You weren't go to protest against her wishes. Life is so funny in a way. How do you go from hating the football star to wearing her t shirt to bed?
Sevika throws the crumbled up shirt at you. "Here. Wear it."
"Okay. Get out then."
"Get out? what for, we're both girls."
"Sevika."
She raised her hand up in defeat. She walked out the door and you quickly got changed into the shirt she gave you. There was nothing special about it. Just a huge black t shirt with the name of some band you don't listen to. You were wearing shorts underneath your miniskirt so you're just going to use those as shorts to sleep it.
"Okay you can come back in."
Sevika opened her bedroom door and walked past you, walking straight to her dresser. She grabbed a t-shirt pairing it with basketball shorts. You're assuming to sleep in.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom and change in there. Get comfortable and try getting some sleep."
"Thank you by the way. I don't think I've said thank you since you came to get me. I really appreciate everything."
Sevika didn't respond. Well at least not verbally, her way of saying you're welcome was nodding her head with a smile. And with that she left, leaving you alone in the dark of her room.
Hesitantly you laid down in her bed, feeling so awkward. How can you not feel awkward? You don't know how to casually go about this. You try finding yourself drifting off to sleep but you've been faced with disappointment.
Moments later, Sevika came back. You assumed she thought you were sleeping since she didn't say anything when she entered her room. You heard some footsteps around but they stopped when she entered her bed.
Now it's just the two of us.
In her bed.
Great.
You found yourself staring at the ceiling. Thinking about what happened hours ago. What did this mean for you and Vi? Are the two of you still together? Broken up? Should you talk to her?
You don't want to talk to her. It'll be too much for you. The craziest part is you don't think you're sad. You're just mad of how she handled it. You think you would have been fine if she just broke up with you like a normal sane person.
"Hey (Y/n), you awake?"
You thought the older girl would have been sleeping by now with how quiet she was.
"Yeah, why?"
"I just wanted to see how you were doing."
"Could be better." You laughed.
Sevika liked your laugh. She liked how real it sounded. Not fake or for show but genuine.
Sevika would never admit it (at least not now) but she liked a lot of things about you. She's always liked you since the moment the two of you met. Granted she did tripped you on the first day of high school but that's only because she thought it would be really funny. She never thought you would get that upset about it but she thought you were really cute when you were upset. So it was a win-win.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"You already did."
"Shut up (Y/n)."
Sevika turned to face you this time. Shifting her entire body to face your side of the bed. You did the same, flipping to face her.
"What did you see in that girl anyways?"
"You mean Vi?"
"Yeah, why did you even date her in the first place?"
You had to think about it for a while.
"Well she wasn't always a jerk. She was super sweet to me at first. She was nice and liked me. I guess that's what it took honestly."
"I still think you deserved better. Better than that ... thing."
You laughed at her, "Okay and who do you think I deserve?"
"Me."
"Sevika stop playing."
"I'm being serious (Y/n)."
You stared at her through the dark. Trying to find her face and any indication that was joking. You've never seen her look more serious.
"(Y/n) I've always liked you, seriously."
"Then why be mean to me?"
"I'm sorry I didn't know how to express my feelings to you. That wasn't fair to you."
You couldn't believe what you were hearing. You never thought Sevika would ever have a crush on you, the thought of that even sounds like a joke. You've never even considered that being a possibility.
"Okay but why are you telling me this now?"
"I finally have the chance to. Didn't make sense if you were with Vi."
It feels like somehow the two of you go closer. You were so close to her, you saw every little detail on her face. You never noticed how grey her eyes were.
The two of you were face to face, you could feel her breath on you. You were questioning if any of this is right, if this is supposed to happen. But for the first time in a very long time, you didn't care.
"Since when did you like me?"
"Could I be more obvious?"
Sevika doesn't know what came over her or if this was even a good idea but she wanted you, and that's all that matters to her right now.
She looks at your lips, her eyes flickering to your lips and then your eyes. "Can I?" she was hopeful.
"Yes." In that moment Sevika didn't care what you had to say after. Her lips crashed into yours.
It was so wrong but so right.
The two of you were fighting for dominance, Sevika won naturally. Both of you had an unspoken rhythm that you just seemed to found. You never expected her lips to be so soft.
Both of you are now devouring each other, tongues are clashing and you let out a whimper, making Sevika's knees buckle. You bite her lip in a slow motion. You wanted to take your time. You weren't in a rush.
You grab Sevika by the nape, wanting her impossibly close. It feels like she wasn't close enough. Sevika flips you on top of her. You straddle her thighs trying to find a new rhythm. Her hands found way to your hair and they get lost in it. You start to grind on her lap, finding some way to relieve yourself.
"You want more baby?" Sevika asked with an expression you never seen before, her eyes were filled with dominance and lust.
You smirked back, You didn't care about anyone else at that moment. You didn't care about Vi or Caitlyn's remarks. All you wanted was Sevika.
You kissed her and then removed the shirt she gave you, It was like a light switch had flipped, not caring about anyone else. More boundaries between the two of you continued to cross, Sevika's lips latched onto your chest. You moaned in pleasure. While her lips were on one she massaged the other. She switches now, giving the other breast the attention she gave the other one before.
You tugged on her shirt, signaling that you wanted it off. Sevika understood immediately, she moved her hands to the side as you lifted the shirt off of her.
Both of your lips made way to each other again. Kissing Sevika was passionate, enticing, and so much different than what you're used to. Nothing about this was mundane. You could kiss Sevika forever if you could.
And oh how you wanted to.
There was so much warmth between the two of you. You had your arms wrapped around Sevika's neck and she held your waist. Not wanting to spare any space. She guided you through the kiss. You didn't know it was possible to feel so much sensation from a kiss. Sevika's tongue wrestled yours, You let her consume you.
You kissed Sevika's neck, you were repeating the kisses in the same place. You weren't ready yet, this was nice. Amazing even. You didn't want to have sex off the bat. You didn't even intended on kissing her.
Sevika let out a quiet moan, and that's when you knew you found her sweet spot. You began sucking on the sweet spot of her next. You wanted people to see she was marked up, wanting everyone ask her who left those marks.
While you left marks, Sevika helped moved your hips back and forth on her. You moaned in pleasure of how good it felt.
How good Sevika felt.
The two of you kissed as the night continued to darkened. You didn't want to forget this night, trying to lock it away in your memories, scared that you'll forget in the future how she made you feel.
You were a complete utter mess on top of Sevika.
A mess you knew that she could clean up with an ease.
Sevika felt the same, she wanted you and she will have you.
No matter how long it takes.
You got her right where you wanted her to be.
With you.
୨୧
Wrapping her arms around you tightly, you accepted the warmth coming from the football star you once had hatred for. The sun peeking through the blinds attacked your eyes, you fought to open them. You attempted to reach for your phone that you left charging on the nightstand. It was a bit hard moving with Sevika's arm laid over you. You unlocked your phone and was met with a thousand missed calls and messages from Caitlyn, you mentally cursed yourself. You forgot to let Caitlyn know where you would be for the night. You hoped she didn't start a search party.
You placed your phone on the nightstand, it was still early enough in the day. You could get back to Caitlyn's place and she could drive you home. It was Sunday meaning you had a lot of things to do in preparation for the upcoming week.
You tried escaping Sevika's hold but found no luck. She was twice your size, of course you were going to struggle.
As if she was on queue, Sevika moved over. But not in a way to where you could get up, it was like she intentionally trapped you more. "Good morning baby." Sevika said as she put her face deep in your neck. You assumed to cover her face from the sun.
You couldn't help but laugh at her, "Good morning Vika."
"How'd you sleep?"
"Peacefully, How about you?"
"Pretty good. It was a struggle to with someone snoring right in my ear. You sounded like a damn bear."
"Hey!" You playfully pushed her to the side.
Sevika stared into your eyes, making mental notes of how beautiful you looked so early in the morning. "I had fun with you last night."
"Yeah me too, I really enjoyed it."
"Maybe we can do that again sometime?" Sevika pushed a bit of loose strands of hair to the side.
"I dunno it's a bit of a conflict of interest for a teacher to make out with her student."
"You're right it would be a conflict because I'm very interested and I know you are too."
"Perhaps."
Sevika laughed while pulling you closer into her embrace, afraid you'll run away.
"Shut up (Y/n)."
୨୧
"You're lying."
"Literally why would I lie about any of that."
"I just can't believe your life was actually eventful."
"Caitlyn I swear."
You've arrived at Caitlyn's house thirty minutes ago. Sevika had dropped you off (after a quick makeout session) and you told Caitlyn everything. Well first you apologize for going m.i.a and made a promise to her that it wouldn't happen again.
You told her about Vi cheating to you staying the night at Sevika to you then making out with her. You just thinking about that doesn't seem real.
"Okay wait wait so, you and Vi? Not getting back together right?"
"Fuck no, I'm over her."
"Over her and under somebody else?" Caitlyn winked repeatedly at you, well her failed attempt at winking.
"Cait please stop winking I'm uncomfortable."
"You're so dramatic."
You grabbed one of the blue fluffy pillows she had on her bed and playfully threw it at her, she grabbed the same pillow and threw it back at you.
"Caitlyn help me what should I do?"
"Help you with what exactly? You made out with Sevika and it sounds like to me you enjoyed it. Just be with her."
"What if I get hurt?"
"I sincerely doubt that she'll do anything to you."
"What makes you say that?"
Caitlyn moved closer to you on the bed, trying to make emphasis about what she's going to say. "You spent over half an hour talking to me about Sevika and how much she cared for you last night. You've dated Vi for over a year and she didn't care for you as half as Sevika does."
"Be with someone that makes you feel good after someone makes you feel shitty, don't be with the person that makes you feel shitty."
Your eyes just opened.
What Caitlyn just said, put so many new things into perspective for you.

don't speak ♱ ༄
synopsis: Your relationship with Caitlyn has ran its course. All the late night fights, shouts, and apologies weren't worth it anymore. You both know it's over.
tags!&warnings!: angst like a lott of angst, mean caitlyn lowkey toxic, might include typos, mentions of cheating, no use of y/n, vvv short!
part two!
inspired by the glee version of don't speak <3
You were starting to feel restless, you're unsure of what the argument is about this time. It always seems to be your fault somehow.
Caitlyn slammed the door shut. Signaling that the conversation is over. You found yourself walking over to the couch, you were drained. This relationship that was once full of love and light, was draining every bit of life left in you.
You wondered what went wrong. How the two of you even got here. The more Caitlyn started to stay out late is more you questioned her and her behavior. Caitlyn hated being 'accused' for something she didn't do.
Or so she claimed.
You couldn't help but hear a buzzing sound on repeat. You got up from the couch and made way to the kitchen, where you saw Caitlyn's phone lighting up with notifications.
You weren't the type to go through your partner's phone. You never have and you didn't intended on doing so, however your gut was screaming at you to check in. You knew her password.
What could a little peek do?
Caitlyn was pacing back and forth in the bedroom the two of you share. She was attempting at trying to calm herself down from the heated argument the two of you had.
She knew she was in the wrong.
Caitlyn knew what she did but she couldn't tell you the truth. She knew how you would react. She doesn't deserve you, but she wants you. Caitlyn knows how selfish she was being but she couldn't find it in her to care.
She made a mistake, if that's what she tells you then everything would be fine.
You both would be fine.
Caitlyn calmed herself down and decided it would be best to smooth things over with you. She didn't know when she wanted to tell you what happened but the sooner she tells you hopefully the better you would react.
Caitlyn just hopes so.
She walks out the bedroom and carefully closes the door not wanting to make any loud sounds. She feels like she's walking on a ledge.
"Babe?"
Caitlyn calls out, when she doesn't see you in the living room she gets worried. It's not like you left, your purse and keys were in the usual spot you always left them.
When Caitlyn walked into the kitchen she was relieved to see you. She wanted to make things right between the two of you.
You looked up and saw Caitlyn entering the kitchen, you couldn't make eye contact with the woman you once loved.
"How long?"
"What?" Caitlyn questioned
"How long Caitlyn?"
"Babe I don't know what you're talking about? Can you explain please?"
"Fine. How long have you been fucking Vi?"
Caitlyn froze, "What?"
"Should I repeat myself?"
You threw Caitlyn's phone to the ground, you watched as it shattered into pieces. You looked back up at Caitlyn watching her usual cold stoic expression become frantic and perturbed.
"I saw the message."
"You looked through my phone?"
"That's your main concern right now? Really?"
Caitlyn sighed, "What do you want me to say? Yes we fucked. That was months ago. Get over it."
"Get over it?" Your voice started shake. "Get over it??"
"It was months ago?? I saw the fucking dates you had sex with her on my fucking birthday Caitlyn. What the fuck is wrong with you?" You couldn't fathom this.
"You were out of state."
"For my birthday. A trip planned by my family that you were invited to but you had to work. Now I know work meant fuck other bitches."
"I cannot believe you."
It was almost as if you were talking to a different person. The sweet girl you once were madly in love with is no where to be found. You were losing your best friend. This was really the end for the two of you. No matter what she can say or do can fix this.
"Get out."
"Excuse you?"
"Get out Caitlyn. Out."
"This is our apartment."
"My name is on the lease, now get the fuck out."
"Baby please don't do this to us."
"Just please stop explaining, don't speak this-" You paused, holding back tears. "This is over."
You left Caitlyn alone in the kitchen with her phone shattered and your heart to match. You gave her everything and so much more. You were there for the death of her mom, when she became a general, and so much more. And she just casted you aside without a second thought.
You were done.
You wanted nothing more to do with her.

It's been exactly three weeks since the first time you helped Sevika study.
You made zero progress.
From helping Sevika study, being student body president, working on your relationship with Vi, and making sure you're on top of your studies, You have absolutely no time to make sure Sevika fails.
Is it too much to ask for to make sure you have time to watch your enemy crumble?
As of right you were at your student council meeting. You and the rest of your members were deciding on what should the theme of this year's winter formal dance should be. Last year's dance theme was nutcracker and you wanted to switch it up this year. You and your members have been coming up with ideas for the past hour and a half along with other topics, but nothing has been sticking.
You felt a headache coming, you wanted to come up with an idea. The sooner you came up with something the sooner you can go. And the sooner you could go, the sooner you can help Sevika study.
And then it struck you.
"What about a winter masquerade ball?"
Everyone's face lit up. Your members all agreed and voted on the idea. The theme for this year's winter formal dance would be "Winter Masquerade."
You and your members packed up for the day. The next meeting the council will have will be next week. Normally, you would meet everyday but with it being exam season now, the meeting's got reduced to once a week.
The time was now 4:30 pm, Sevika would get out of football practice at 5:30. Only an hour to go until she was free.
You didn't know what else to do so while you waited so you decided to use this time to do your homework in advance.
Before you knew it the time flew by, you saw Sevika walking up to you while holding her helmet. She looked worn out and tired. You don't know much about football but you do know how exhausting it can be on your body.
"Hey are you ready to go?"
"Yeah let me just pack up my bag and we can head out."
You followed the other girl to her truck. This has been a routine the two of you shared for the past couple of weeks now.
As the two of you were walking, a gorgeous girl came over to the two of you. She was tall. Well at least taller than you, but still shorter than Sevika with her being 6'4 (What the fuck was she eating??). She had gold accents woven into her hair and she was wearing a beautiful white dress. A white dress to school is crazy .. your internal voice spoke.
The beauty walked up to the both of you, "Hey Sevika. You just got out of practice?"
"Sure did."
"Wanna get out of here?" The girl touched the football star's shoulder.
You coughed. Were the two of them seriously going to act as if you were standing right in the middle of them.
"Oh sorry didn't see you there."
"I noticed."
"Are the two of you like together or?"
Before you could even answer, Sevika immediately replied with "No."
You rolled your eyes.
Why did she say no so quickly? ..
"Ah I see. Well are you busy?"
"Yeah but you and I can do something another time uh-"
"My name is Mel. Mel Merdara."
Mel .. You've heard of that name before. She was senior just like Sevika. You've seen her hanging out around school before. With two guys you think their names are Jace and Viktor? You didn't talk to them, neither have you and Mel ever spoken a word to each other.
"Alright Mel, just give me your number and i'll text you."
You swore Mel would have just waited for Sevika to hand over her phone so she could enter her phone number. But instead she whipped out a pen from her bag and wrote her phone number on Sevika's arm. Slightly pushing you out the way. The fuck.
Were you invisible? ..
"Alright later Sev." And with that she disappeared.
Sevika began the walk to her car again and you couldn't believe what you just witnessed. That was one of the grossest things you've ever seen.
"What's your problem?" Sevika asked you as she turned into a lane. The two of you were on your way to her house for her study session. (The same study session where you've been making no progress with the game plan btw.)
"Nothing."
"Nah don't pull that bullshit with me. You've been quiet since .. Wait a minute. You're jealous."
"Excuse you?" You couldn't believe what you were hearing? Jealous? Jealous of who exactly?
"You heard me. You're jealous just admit it."
"There's nothing to admit because I'm not jealous. I'm in a loving and happy relationship and you know that."
"A happy relationship with someone that treats you like shit? Yeah okay."
"Sevika. Watch yourself."
"Everyone can see it. How she treats you. She treats you like her bitch and all you do is take it. It's pathetic."
"Are you done? Are you done telling me about my relationship? The same relationship that has nothing to do with you."
The truck got quiet. Now this quiet was uncomfortable. And all you wanted to do was leave. You know your relationship with Vi wasn't perfect but it also wasn't anyone's business. Especially Sevika.
Hours have passed and you were packing up your bag, all ready to go. You were still pretty annoyed with Sevika. How dare she feel like that was an appropriate way to talk to you? To someone that was helping her?? Granted you had ulterior motives but she didn’t know that.
You grabbed your bag and walked downstairs and waited for the older girl in her living room. She went to the bathroom a couple of minutes ago and you got tired of waiting in her room.
Your eyes lingered on that family photo you first laid eyes on when you first entered her home.
That same photo. You can't help but stare into the eyes of the younger version of Sevika. Her eyes were so soft, delicate, not seeing what the world had in store for her yet. You wanted to hold the younger version of her face. Letting her know that it would be okay.
"What are you doing?"
You jolted, "Shit you scared me."
"You'll be okay." Sevika paused, "So whatchu looking at?"
"You."
"Okay .. Why?"
"Seeing you as a child is cute. You were a cute kid."
"Thank you, You know i wasn't just cute as a kid. I think I'm still pretty cute now."
Sevika winks and you roll your eyes. "I've been meaning to ask. I know it's not any of my business or anything but i've been coming over to your house to study for some weeks now and it's just-"
"Spit it out (Y/n)."
"Where's your parents? Do they work a lot? Just looking at the photo made me curious about them. I'm sorry if that's too personal."
Sevika's gaze on you softened. But quickly was replaced with sadness.
She took a seat on the couch and patted the space beside you, gesturing for you to take a seat. You listened and waited for her to continue.
"They didn't die if that's what you were wondering. At least I don't think they did." Sevika pointed to the smaller child in the picture.
"That's my younger brother, Ameer. Ameer was so special. He had so much potential. Remember years ago the huge protest Zaun had with Piltover? Before we combined?"
She took a couple of breaths. "My brother was outside playing with some other kids. The protest and just begun and a lot of enforcers were hurting innocent people of Zaun. The enforcers didn't care if you were 5 or 50, they had guns and wanted to use them. Thousands of people died that day. They captured some and arrested them. My brother was one of them, at least that's what my grandmother says."
You interjected, "Arrest?? How old was he?"
"He was only ten. Like I said. They didn't care how old you were."
"But after that my parents were obviously devastated so they went looking for him. We don't know where they sent them. So they keep looking. I haven't seen them in years since they decided to search for him."
"Sevika .. I'm so sorry. I cant believe this."
"Don't apologize you didn't take him. It sucks but at least I got my grandma with me. You just don't see her because she's always asleep."
"I know but I had no right to be in your business like that."
"Honestly (Y/n) it's fine."
The room got quiet. Still holding onto the words Sevika had just shared with you, in such a vulnerable state.
"Do you think they would ever find him?"
Sevika stared into the wall, boring her eyes into it, "No. I seriously doubt it."
"How come?"
"They're searching for hope. If they have to come home then they have to face the reality that their son died .. That I lost my brother. They're searching for something that isn't real."
You don't know what came over you. But you hugged her. You hugged Sevika tightly scared that if you let go then she'll vanish. You never felt so much empathy for someone before. You and Sevika have your moments but losing someone so close to you, especially family, you wouldn't want to wish that on your enemy. Even Sevika.
The hug that the two of you shared felt real, genuine, and raw. You didn't want to let go but it had to be done. Sevika was twice your size but it made you feel good to comfort her. She felt small and all you wanted to do was hold her pain.
Your mind wandered off to the plan you made.
And now you feel like an idiot.
୨୧
"You are an idiot."
You were laying in Caitlyn's bed while she was brushing her hair at her vanity. You ended up telling your best friend what happened two days ago at Sevika's house. You felt bad and wanted advice on the matter.
"I told you that this was a horrible plan."
"Yeah Cait I know. Stop telling me you know me so and help me figure out what to do now."
"Personally me, I would just drop it. You said it yourself, you're not making any progress anyways."
"Hm you have a point .."
"I know I do it's me duh."
"Shut up Caitlyn."
Just when your best friend was about to respond, she got a text. Looking to see who it was she unlocked her phone and opened the text. Her face immediately lit up.
"Oh we're so there. (Y/n) come on we're getting dressed."
"Wait getting dressed for what?"
"A party?? What else?? Come on let's get you into something slutty."
And that's how you ended up here.
On the lawn of someone you don't know house, dressed with hair and makeup done. You're not even sure if you can say dressed with you wearing the most revealing black low cut top to have been made with a matching black mini skirt.
Courtesy of Caitlyn obviously. You didn't even know she owned something like this with her mom being a Piltover Counselor.
"Cait I don't know if I should be here. I have a reputation to uphold."
"(Y/n) I promise you no one cares. Everyone is more worried about themselves than the student body president shaking ass."
You scoffed but knew Caitlyn was right. You doubt anyone would recognize you anyways. You normally dress more reserved and tonight it's so far away from that.
Caitlyn grabbed your hand and walked the both of you into the house. The house was filled with practically everyone from school. Teenagers were making out, drinking, smoking, and doing whatever type of drugs that were currently out.
The two of you made your way to the kitchen. Caitlyn grabbed a red solo cup and picked up a bottle of what you're assuming is tequila and then another bottle of what you're now assuming is vodka and mixed it together into the cup.
"You want a sip?!" Even though she was right next to you, it was as if Caitlyn had to scream so you could hear her. The music was so loud you were struggling to think.
"No i'm okay. Thanks!"
Caitlyn chugged the drink down. You were just watching the scene and standing there so awkwardly. You were trying to fit in but it was hard.
"Wanna dance?" A ginger haired girl came up to Caitlyn. Her eyes scanning to see if she would say yes. You never seen her before and you're not even sure she goes to the same school as you two.
Caitlyn was about to answer but her eyes landed on yours. She wondered if you would be okay but yourself.
"Go Cait!! I'll be okay!" You called out.
Caitlyn smiled. "Alright just text me if you need anything!"
Caitlyn left with the girl, walking side by side with her.
You didn't know what to do now. You felt so awkward standing in the kitchen. All of a sudden your throat felt insanely dry. You looked around the kitchen searching for something that wasn't alcohol but that's what the only choices were. You figured they would have to have a cooler somewhere.
You left the kitchen and began your search for a cooler. You just needed something cold. You first checked in the backyard but was met with disappointment. You saw a guy standing with a familiar blue hairier girl.
"Powder?"
"Oh my gosh! (Y/n)! I didn't know you were here! Vi didn't tell me?" Powder hugged you tight. You haven't seen her in a while. Even though her and Vi were sisters (with Vi being older.) Powder was homeschooled instead, the teachers thought she was a bit too 'disruptive' for the other students.
"(Y/n) this is my boyfriend!"
The guy with the bleach blonde locs stuck out his hand for the two of you to shake, "Name is Ekko."
"Wait Vi is here? She didn't tell me she was going out to a party tonight." You questioned.
"Oh? Well she's here. She's been here. You guys came separately?"
"Yeah my friend dragged me out here, I texted Vi that I would be here but she hasn't responded."
"Uhh the last place I saw her was inside by the living room. I have no idea if she's still there."
And with that you went to the living room. You got a weird feeling. How can Vi not tell you that she was at a party. You're a not control freak, you just like communication. You don't care where Vi goes. But you find it suspicious how she didn't tell you where she was going and how she hasn't responded to your text you sent two hours ago.
You had very right to be suspicious.
You saw your girlfriend's lips on another.
You're pretty sure you blacked out right after that.
You don't remember much except for you pushing whoever she was kissing onto the floor and you slapping the shit out of Vi.
You think you were screaming but you can't remember.
You're now standing on the curb, blocks down from the house party. You had to get out of there. You felt like you were suffocating. You been crying since you left, you probably look like a hot mess. You can't believe her.
She accused you for cheating on her, but was kissing another girl.
How could she do that?
How could she do that to me?
You've been dialing Caitlyn's phone for the past 30 minutes, each time no answer. She's definitely with that girl. You checked the time, 11:15 pm. it's getting late and you're starting to feel unsafe in a neighborhood you don't know.
Your parents don't know you're here so it's not like you can call them. You're supposed to be having a sleepover with Caitlyn.
Your mind goes to the only person you can think of right now.
You hesitantly called her, not really wanting to. But you're out of options. Caitlyn drove the both of you here. It was either wait at the party and deal with your (ex) girlfriend or walk.
"Sevika? Can you pick me up?"

“Yo”
You stared at your phone in disbelief.
Of fucking course.
You weren’t completely sure it was Sevika but who else would it be at this hour? You checked the top left corner of your phone and saw the time 10:05 pm.
Now you’re irritated.
Why does she feel justified for bothering you this late? So late into the night where this is the only time you can get consistent uninterrupted peace. Peace from the constant attempts of living up to everyone’s standards of you. The night is where you find your mind free from everyone's thoughts even your own.
It was quiet. It was what you wanted.
Now how the fuck can you enjoy the quiet when she's found a way to fuck it up.
You started a mental war with yourself. To reply or to not reply. You didn't honestly have to text her back, at least not right now anyways. But something in you wanted to text her back. Maybe it was for the plot or maybe it was just pure curiosity.
Your freshly manicure fingers hovered over the keyboard. How do you even reply to "Yo." It was so lackluster, straight to the point. Offering you nothing to piggyback off of. If you wanted the plan to go along perfectly then you had to find a way to grab her attention.
How can you do that if she's offering you nothing?
After taking way too long on what to reply with (8 minutes is longer than what you would like to admit.) You settled with, "Who is this?". It's perfect. It's grabs her attention by questioning her popularity. You obviously know who this is but that would stroke her ego a little bit and you need her ego deflated by the end of this.
The little text bubbles immediately started to pop up, It took about five seconds until you got your text back.
“You know who this is?”
You rolled your eyes. the cockiness seems to be evident through text, “If I knew then I wouldn’t have asked.”
“Come on don’t act stupid.”
“Are you going to tell me who you are or …?”
“Come on princess, you know it’s Sevika.”
You’re upset at how your face began to heat up. You’re getting flustered. She’s not even in the same room as you but you find yourself envisioning her calling you that. Princess. She’s never called you that before. And you hated how it made you feel. You’re in a relationship. You’re in a relationship with someone you love, you love Vi. You don’t love Sevika.
She doubled texted, “Wow so we’re leaving me on delivered now?”
”What do you want Sevika.”
“Are you busy right now?”
“No, what do you want?”
The text bubbles appeared and then vanished. You waited for five minutes and it seemed like she disappeared. You were about to put your phone on the charger and call it a night until you got a notification from an incoming call. Unfortunately it's the same dights as the one that was just texting you.
Reluctantly you picked up the phone call, "What."
"Don't be like that princess."
"Stop calling me princess."
"Why are you in such a crabby mood?"
"Sevika what do you want. It's late, i'm tired, and we have school tomorrow. Why are you calling my phone?"
"I can't just call you to say hi?"
Your tone being earnest, "Sevika."
"Damn chill, I just wanted to ask if you were free to study tomorrow night? Football practice got cancelled, coach's son has a doctors appointment."
You didn't want to study with her tomorrow night. Or honestly, any night. You rather be doing anything else. But it was a necessity to complete the plan.
"I guess. What time were you thinking?"
"Right after school, I'll drop us off my place but give you a ride home afterwards."
"Okay sounds perfect to me."
"Your little girlfriend won't mind us hanging out together? You know how easy ladies fall for me."
She cannot be serious ..
"First of all we're not "hanging out". I'm helping you study. Helping you study because you desperately need it. And second of all, Vi won't mind."
Oh vi definitely minded.
You were facing Vi while she was searching through her locker for her math textbook. You just told her your plans with Sevika later today and to say the least she's not really happy.
"No."
"No? Vi I'm not asking you, I'm telling you what I'm doing later tonight."
Vi turns to you and rubs your shoulder, "Babe why can't you just ditch her and come to my place instead? We haven't had us time in a while. Powder is gonna be babysitting tonight so it'll be just us. I promise I'll make it worth it." She winks.
"As tempting as that sounds I can't. I made a promise to Miss Sky. I promised her I would help Sevika study so she could pass."
Vi slightly pushed you against the locker while slamming her locker shut, failing to find the textbook she was looking for.
"If that's how you want it to be. Fine."
Her words hurt you.
Why was she acting like this?
You didn't have time to think about it. You made your way to your next class, after finding your seat you grabbed your notebook and your pencil case from your school bag.
Only three more periods and then it'll just be you and Sevika alone in her room.
You have no idea what you signed for.
୨୧
You were standing by your school's front entrance waiting for Sevika with Caitlyn by your side.
"And she just slammed the locker?"
"Yeah and she shoved me a little bit."
"Wait what do you mean shoved? Was it giving she was joking with you or did it give she was seriously upset?"
"I dunno it gave seriously upset."
On the walk to the front entrance you mentioned to Caitlyn how Vi acted earlier. It's been bothering you since it occurred.
"I don't like that."
"She was just upset that I'm not spending my Friday night with her."
"Okay so? Doesn't give her a right to shove you (Y/n). If she's shoving you when she's upset at you, what else will she do?"
"Wait what do you mean by that?"
Just when Caitlyn was about to answer, Sevika pulled up to the front in her pickup truck while honking her horn.
"Come on (Y/n) I don't have all day."
You fought back the urge to roll your eyes. You gave Caitlyn's hand a tight squeeze, "I'll text you later tonight and tell you how it goes."
Caitlyn squeezed back, "You better."
You walked up to Sevika's car, you got inside and buckled your seatbelt. Her car was wayyy cleaner than you ever expected it to be. It was surprisingly very organized.
"Sooo how was your day?"
You turned your head to look at the older girl confused, "Why are you making small talk with me right now?"
"Why do you always have to question everything? Geez (Y/n. Fucking relax for once."
You sighed, "I'm sorry it's not you it's me. Just having a lot of thoughts." You paused, "It was okay, how was yours?"
"Wait really? You wanna talk about it?" For a second it seemed like sevika cared. You can't really tell. Her tone gives caring but the "hidden" motives might not.
"No thanks it's fine."
"Alright if you say so, just now I'm here. And my day was good thank you for asking."
The rest of the drive was in silence but a comfortable silence. Not awkward where you feel as if you have to make conversation but just nice and easy.
Like this feels natural.
It didn't take long for Sevika to drive you two to her house.
You didn't know what to expect honestly. The outside of her house seemed fine but you don't always just judge the exterior, there's always the interior.
You and Sevika walked to the front of her house. It took her a second to unlock the door. Once she had opened it and you walked inside. The living room was very cozy. With a beautiful white couch in the middle. the theme of the living room was probably white and brown. Seeing that those colors were everywhere. You couldn't help but linger on a family photo that was smack down in the middle of the entire room. Seeing an innocent version of the person you hate was odd. How can a seemingly cute child grow up to be such a bully?
"Follow me. My room is upstairs."
You didn't reply with words instead letting your actions do all of the talking. You followed right behind her walking up the stairs. As she guided you to her room you can't help but look on the walls. Seeing more family pictures. Her house seems so quiet compared to the pictures. The way how her parents look so in love with each other, and you're assuming her brother as well with him smiling in every photo. The house in comparison seems so sad and empty while the photos are so full of life.
The two of you finally stopped in front of a room, she opened the door and you immediately knew it was her room. It wasn't as messy as you expected it to be but it was clean enough for a stereotypical jock. The older girl had posters everywhere, had monster and red bull can placed around on her nightstand. You saw some clothes on the floor but it wasn't too bad.
"Sorry for the mess. It was clean yesterday but then you know, had to get ready for school."
You placed your school bag on the floor while taking off your shoes. "No worries. It's cool mine looks the same probably." You looked around the room, "So where do you want to work?"
"We can work on my bed I don't mind."
"Sounds cool to me."
୨୧
"Fuck Sevika." You groaned in frustration.
You definitely misunderstood how hard helping Sevika study would actually take. The two of you have been working on the same material for three hours now. She was understanding it but it was taking longer than you expected.
You're not upset at her or even the situation. You just wish you knew how to handle it better.
"I don't understand why can't I understand this." The football star said while placing her finger on her temple.
"It's okay you just need to remember all matter is composed of atoms, which have a central nuclear, protons & neutrons. And orbiting electrons and that the number of protons defines the element on the Periodic Table, with atoms having equal protons and electrons being neutral, while ions have unequal numbers, giving them a charge."
Sevika was listening and righting down exactly what you were saying. You didn't expect for her to be so attentive. You honestly thought she would goof off.
You expected a lot about her but every expectations haven't been met.
You truly didn't know her.
You phone started to vibrate, it was Vi, "Sorry one second I have to take this."
Sevika nodded while you touch the answer button on your phone, "Vi? Is everything okay?"
Your girlfriend scoffed, "You tell me. Are you fucking her right now?"
"Vi what? What are you talking about?" You got up and walked into the hallway. You didn't want Sevika to hear what Vi was saying.
"Are you? I bet you both are having a good ass time."
"Babe can you just relax? I told you I'm helping her study, can't you just listen to me right now? What is your problem?"
"No fuck you, you're such a slut. Don't call me back." and with that Vi hung up the phone.
You froze not knowing what to do.
Part of you wanted to cry but another part of you wanted to curse her out but it was hard to do so with a lump in the back of your throat.
You walked back into Sevika's room not wanting to take any longer. She looked at you with sad comforting eyes. "I didn't mean to eavesdrop I swear it's just us in the house and voices carry. Are you alright (Y/n?)"
Maybe it's because she asked you if you were okay or maybe it was how nice she was being right now, nonetheless in the end it didn't matter what all you knew now was you couldn't see anymore due to the tears pouring out your eyes.
Sevika immediately walked over to you and pulled you into a hug. This was the first time you both had ever been so close to each other.
It felt nice. Comforting.
"We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Just know i'm here."
You smiled, "Thanks but if you don't mind i just wanna call it a night." You don't think you can be around anyone right now. The only thing you felt like doing was crying into your pillow.
"Yeah of course, I'll take you home."
And she did. She drove the two of you safely to your house. As she pulled up, you saw the dining hall lights on so you knew your parents were home.
"Thank you for dropping me home."
"Don't mention it."
You were pulling on the door handle to get out the car when Sevika stopped you. "Hey (Y/n.)
You paused, your hand still being on the handle, "Yeah Sevika?"
"Don't let anyone treat you like shit. You're too pretty for that."
"Thank you."
And with that you got out, you walked up to your door while simultaneously shuffling through your bag looking for your house keys. You finally found them and opened the door. You didn't even notice Sevika waiting for you to get inside.
You said hello to your parents and immediately went to your room. Happy to get the day over with. You had so many mix emotions.
Your mind was racing and you felt as if you couldn't catch up.
Everything was not going according to plan.
