Sorry I thought I posted this already but I made smoke-senior 4.2! Tryouts was good so much positive energy on both days and was good to see people from other teams and everyone encouraging each other. I genuinely can not wait to start this new journey, new stunts, new people, new music and a new uniform (which I'm DYING to see) I know it's gonna be sparkly one. Music should be interesting to as the whole music laws have changed in cheer so it'll be good to hear what our music is, Ruby and black had the music change last season and I loved theirs, couldn't stop singing it lol. Season starts next week and I can't wait 😁😁 Congrats to my bestie also who made her second season of nuclear and also started coaching a youth 1 team at Coventry dynamite m, this is going to be so amazing for you!! ❤️

Unity awards night was on Friday, and trails was the day before Everyone at awards looked absolutely beautiful! Sitting here writing this and tryout results are getting posted and I’m having the same type of heart attack as I did this time last year when I started this unity journey on tumblr, it’s so strange. This season I’m excited to have @upat2thinkingofyou join the programs amazingness and she took a big step out of her comfort zone to achieve what I fully know she deserves and is capable of, I’m proud of her and as we both shit ourselves for results I’m happy well be spending the season together whatever teams we make, welcome to the unity family ❤️

Such a random post but I was coming back from tryouts (yes tryouts Mrs I'm taking a year out- I'll get to that later🙄🙄) and my friend who I was with saw this in the sky. I shit you not next to it (I wish I took individual pics to prove it) on the right hand side was Jesus' face the witch was in the middle and a angel was on the left trying to get away but Jesus' face was stretched around the Angel to protect it from the witch. I SHIT YOU NOT. Can you see the witch shaped cloud? What does it even mean? Or am I looking at it too deep?

Well the season has ended but we ended with a bang! Future cheer internationals was this weekend just gone and was so amazing to see everyone there, all the teams I know and love. Was emotional too see my bestie (finally) and had a random emotional break down of me telling her I’m proud of her 😂😂sorry about that babes I did tell you id probably cry! She absolutely smashed her routine with nuclear and was so amazing to watch, I was scared because I thought I would miss it as awards was so close to her performance time, but I didn’t and that’s all that matters. Taking the mat for the last time with my spice girls was a seriously emotional one being told it was the last ever 2minutes 30 and last ever full out, it hit me and we all went out there and gave it our bloody all. The energy from the squad was amazing, the noise and energy from the audience was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better response at the last comp and one I won’t ever forget. Awards came, we’re all dancing before announcements top three came and I don’t think my heart has ever pounded so hard in my life. Of course the announcer said the scores were close, but he didn’t call our team 2nd place and started crying before they called us for 1st/national champions. Actual emotional wreck I was. We went to take our picture and hung around for grand champions but I was too busy posting the awards reaction on Instagram to even realise we just got grand champs aswell 😂😂 *que another emotional breakdown*

In all my years of cheer (which is a hell of a lot) I’ve never been a national champion or even a grand champion, but I am now and it was with the girls I’ve grown with as a athlete, friends and sisters and I couldn’t have asked for a better end of the season with the best program in the country. It’s so crazy how I took the step I knew I needed to take in order for me to get to this point, a grand champion. Who would’ve thought it?

Final show offs was today and was so good, time flew! I've pretty much seen everyone's routine at competition but the changes they made I hadn't seen, and was good. Ive been waiting all season to see pearl, the first comp at ICC southerns they were on Saturday, ICC nationals our coach was delayed by about 56763747 hours and I missed it, bca competition we just had the running order crossed over and while we was in warm up, pearl were competing (and some pearl girls are on saffron too) so today I got to see them and they were amazing 😭😭😭. It so nice to be apart of a program that supports everyone, even the coconuts (tiny 1) had their hands out giving every athlete that passed them saying good luck. It's our last comp of the season next week and I just know it's going to fly around and come, I honestly don't want the season to end, like ever. Also how beautiful is my bestie? She competed at jamfest yesterday and I'm so proud of you!! I'm so happy that flocheer were streaming it live so I could see it for myself, all competitions should do this!! Can't wait to see you @charlierosemay xx

Sooooooooo bca Summer showdown was last weekend and it’s flown past already. Was such a good day, though I was disappointed that my old team didn’t get their entry time so they couldn’t be there, everyone done so well, full of support and sportsmanship throughout the whole weekend, even though I was only there on Sunday lol. They finally changed the venue inside the spectrum to the ice rink which was a little concerning but was alright, except the floor was a bit cold to sit on and the tape was wet(not on the competing floor, the floor everyone was walking around on), but overall it was a hell of a lot better than the little sports hall they usually have it in so couldn’t complain to much. Saffron came first which we was super happy about as we worked so hard for as a team we faced a few ups and downs but overall raised above it and earned our trophy. Next weekend is show offs for athletes in unity only and the week after is our last competition!! So haven't been posting for a while to the point tumblr was emailing, spamming actually asking where the hell I been lol I've been training and about 3 weeks came back to the gym which is mad coz the minute I came back I remembered why I stopped coming in the first place, I lost motivation, and the minute I got here I was like 🙄 it's the same people, the same machines and the same feeling but it's ok coz I'm on the dead bike machine as I write this now, quite busy actually two cuties in here so extending my stay 😂 Working hard on the body I want and need throughout this year and most of all to be strong, fit, flexible, healthy and full of abs for unity allstars 2017, season 12. I know I have to because the 17-18 season will be the actual last year for me I actually have to retire as much as I don't want to, but let's face it I'm not getting any younger 💀 Training is going good, we only have two more competitions left and we got our email regarding our end of year party and the dress code, which was a tad emotional not gonna lie! But looking forward to what the future holds.

FINALLY got back into the gym today after telling myself for ages I'll go and haven't. I knew I definitely needed to start going back because I can feel the pressure on my chest after going full out at cheer, it's hard to explain but when I was going gym before and going all sorts of cardio and strength there wouldn't be a problem- yeah course I'll be out of breath but who wouldn't be after a intense mix of everything for 2:30 minutes. But now it's like a more out of breath but a hard type to breathe out of breath, like I say it's hard to explain lol. So went back to my old routine of warming up for 20minutes on the treadmill which was fine, chest was iffy but it'll get worked on. Rowing machine for 15 minutes, a 4 minute power plate plank which I promise you seemed like a good idea but that's a different blog entry 😂 I finished off with a bike session up the Kilimanjaro which is the picture above. It actually killed a lot more than I remember, but little steps aye? Back on Tuesday as I'm off cheer now for 2 weeks! 🤘🏽

Last night at training it was so chilled, we're not doing too much as some people are away and Ruby and black are preparing to go worlds next week so last night the coaches set a pyramid game between saffron and Jade (senior 2 who train the same night as us) but had certain rules like this pyramid had to have different levels, certain amount of flyers in the air, a photo op, a move and another photo op. It was fun and definitely a team bonding game. After we practiced tumbles and some conditioning, was a good training session. I know for a fact our coaches are going to come back from worlds hard and heavy ready for our second to last competition which is in June 💔 Last training next week then a two week break! What am I going to do with myself 😂🤔

Sooooooooo nationals weekend was last weekend and it went quite well! We woke up so early to catch the coach, we had to be at the meeting point by 4:45am but when we got there we was waiting for ever and it turned out the coach had broken down so had to wait for a different one to be sent, which came at 7am, obviously! Can't complain too much though was able to sneak a McDonald's breakfast in before it came!! It came and as it naturally takes a couple of hours to get there some of the girls performing on the Saturday were worried they'd miss their time slot but our amazing coaches had it all under control and was able to change the time! I missed pearls performance again which I was really annoyed at, but one of my friends recorded it for me so it was all good! We got there and I wanted to be sick the venue is so big and the biggest venue I've competed at prior to that was Newcastle echo arena, I thought hat was big enough! Nottingham is a million times bigger with the audience looking down on the floor. Saturday came and gone just cheering on other teams, and filming for my YouTube (go and search me u.a Lisette) and got to our hotel. Which the lady who took us to our room told us (as I asked) the hotel was haunted. ☺️☺️☺️😒 The room was tiny but it was ok, legally blonde was on the bed was bouncy and the bathroom was clean. I was so tired that Saturday I honestly couldn't wait to go bed!! Early Sunday morning came and it was time for me to get ready, which naturally took hours lol I was getting nervous from the minute I started my make up, maybe because I had already seen the size of the venue, it shook me up abit. My bestie @charlierosemay got to the venue before I did that morning and made me so calm she's so funny I was able to laugh my nerves away anyway 😂 Performance time came and looking out to the audience I couldn't even see anyone but could see everyone sitting on the side of the mat, we had a few bobbles and touchdowns but nothing that caused a major infraction, awards came and we came 2nd and one point away from first and one point away from grand champs-the team who beat us, we beat at southerns!! I tweeted them and we're having a final re match in Bournemouth (our last nationals competition for the season). Overall it was a really good experience, saw a few people I haven't seen in years and gained more experience memories with the team I love and the people I love having around me. Next stop bca Guildford where I get to see my old team compete!! I can't wait 💛💛
