I'm thrilled to announce that this time, the subtitles are a collaboration with the lovely Peony, who reached out to me and was kind enough to send me the Yi City arc subs she had previously done for personal use. Many many thanks to Peony, they've been super lovely to talk to and collab with!

At long last, the subtitle file for the stage play sequel of Unreal - Absurd Variety Store is ready to enjoy!
This stage play is a continuation of its homonymous drama, which can be found here with English subtitles.

- I am not fluent in Japanese, therefore I relied on a huge amount of online dictionaries and translation tools, as well as a machine-generated Japanese transcription, and the Japanese original manga. Though I have put the utmost care into translating, editing and reviewing every single line, errors and inaccuracies are very likely to occur.
I still don't quite believe this journey came to an end. Unreal means a lot to me, and I'm glad it got to have its proper ending in a stage play setting. I enjoyed it very much -- cried a bit, too. I hope it will move your hearts as well.
Quick update for anyone who might stumble upon this:
Unreal butai is fully translated and subtitled, just waiting for my lovely proofreader to greenlight it
I've finally started working on MDZS 2 butai! It'll probably take me months to finish it (I'm looking at the 3h30 runtime half scared half amazed at these actors' stamina) but I'm so excited I can barely think of anything else
Patiently waiting for July to come around and deliver the Gift butai (I miss Natsume)
Here to report that I have now cried twice because of the Unreal butai -- once while watching the livestream and once while subbing it. I will now be taking legal action against them.
The MDZS stage play subtitles are finally finished and ready to enjoy!

Since they cut out the interval in the zaiko re-stream, the second part of the subtitles were horribly out of sync for those who have that version of the stage play.
Luckily, a kind mutual of mine shared their recording of the re-stream with me, and I was able to re-sync the subtitle file to make it work with that version of the stream as well! Thank you, kind mutual.

I got my hands on the little interview Someya and Konishi did for Sparkle Annex and awww Saketoba's cat actor is called Kuromame and Konishi calls it Kuromame-chan and said it was a very quiet and well-behaved kitty
I was telling my friends about some parts of the Unreal butai and I got to the bit about Kurosawa and his fiancée and they both went "Kurosawa with a woman?!?!" lmao fair reaction I guess
I've just finished subtitling Gift, and I want to say first of all, thank you so much for the warm responses to my post about subtitling it!
A quick summary for those who might not be familiar with the show:
Set in the same narrative universe as its companion drama "Solliev0", "Gift" follows detectives Natsume Kanade (Someya Toshiyuki) and Akiba Kota (Wada Takuma) of the Special Crimes Unit as they, alongside their team, investigate crimes committed by people with special abilities -- in the hopes of shedding some light on the nature of the mysterious powers they themselves possess.
While in my opinion it is not necessary to have watched Solliev0 to enjoy this show, those who have watched it will notice some easter eggs related to it. To anyone who wants to watch it, it was kindly subtitled by noviceaoiryusei!
