โY-Yeah and I was just going to say tha-โ she felt her voice catch a little as Fareeha leaned against her. She felt warm. Mei hoped and prayed that her face wouldnโt betray her. For once, please donโt catch on fire.ย

The Egyptian giggled , lightly at the nervous ramblings of her favorite scientist . Her arm wrapped around the shorter woman , bringing her in for a tight hug . Excitement was obvious in her movements . Her face was lit up like the fourth of july .

She was super excited about the beach ! It was the middle of summer after all and the sun made the water look extremely attractive . Her eye brows wiggled as she turned to look at Mei , with obvious lecherous intent .

โAlright. Youโre on!โ Fareehaโs childish nature was very much still present within her. During missions, she was a leader, a captain. There was nothing more important than the mission objective to her then, but off mission? She was a rowdy prankster just like the love of her life. Her lips curved into a smile as she grabbed his free hand, brown eyes searching his own.
โWhere do you plan on taking me for dinner? I'm feeling Chinese. You?โ Her voice was soft as she stepped closer to him. A loving sigh escaped from her lips then, lost in him and the moment. She sometimes wondered how they came to be, but seeing as how they were always clowning around in their youth... she guessed it wasn't a big stretch. โYou have such lovely eyes, you know that?โ

Should he be trusted with anything hot anymore? No. Was he going to humiliate and burn himself and concern the girl he loved? That was highly likely.
โYouโre right. Your hands ARE the wrong ones to put that in. Just what do you intend on glueing?โ She was already concerned. Knowing him for years and being with him long enough has taught her to watch out for his ridiculous pranks. They usually ended with him being hurt or someone being upset enough with him that he still got hurt. She sighed and ended up with a small smirk on her lips. โI hope you intend on including me, Jesse. Or I promise we won't go out later.โ

it looked like it was going to be a lackluster day . for a small and young fareeha , being at the overwatch base was not out of the ordinary . her mother would occasionally bring her in while she did paperwork or had meetings . this would ultimately lead fareeha to do one of two things , wander about the place and get into trouble or actually sit still while playing alone . god , she HATED playing by herself . it was what she mostly did since ana never had much time to take her to a friend's house .
this , of course , meant she spent most of her time wandering about . once ana's hand let her loose , she ran towards the most interesting looking place . it was a darker building , a sullen aura formed around it , indicating that this building held something . . . dangerous . fareeha kept going forward to satisfy her curiosity , unknowing ana was following close behind . the little girl opened the door to the terrifying building ; she hoped to discover it's secrets . small feet tip toed inside , the vast emptiness of the place made sure every step echoed loud and clear . yet there was one door full of light , one hopeful glimmer in the distance . she raced towards it , unafraid of what she'd find. fareeha was like that โ curiosity first. fear later.
her tiny hands grabbed at the door knob , opening it , slowly. brown hues peeked inside , they catched nothing until she fully opened the door . seconds before she could say anything , a booming voice sounded behind her , scaring her .
โMOM!โ it was ana , who spoke as she took fareeha's hand to pull her further inside . her eyes caught the view , a young man who seemed to be much older than she was sitting at a table . he was covered in dirt and blood stains , had he done something wrong ? or was he saved by overwatch ? her mother explained that he was part of overwatch now and that his first mission was watching over her while ana held a meeting with gabriel . this was not fair , within seconds fareeha's face turned into an upset potato . โ I am not a baby! I don't need to be looked after. โ
she pouted , not wanting to be tied down by some teenager. at that point , a call took ana away and left the two alone . fareeha sat on the opposite side of the table , brown eyes focused on him like lasers.

Pharah seemed entirely too excited when approached, but to her defense the feelings of fondness about Mei always knew when to bubble up. Sure, science was a bit different than what she was used to, but she did love discussing certain aspects of it. Mei was the one who most indulged her. She wondered if this was yet again a "science session" as she called it. Pharah lived for them almost as much as she did for flying.
