This is an oc ask blog! The ocs are Untitled Iterator (he/they/it), Blessed Gift (she/he/they/it), and Third Vast Attempt (any and all pronouns):3 more in pinned post

This is an ask blog for my three iterator OCs! My main is @penguin--person. In this post, I'll quickly go over their lore. I'll go in order of creaton.

Untitled Iterator

Untitled Iterator (he/they/it) is a very faulty iterator. After he received no parental love or affection during his first few cycles - or, any cycles of his spent with the Ancients - he began to hate them. They didn't even give him the simple gift of a name. They said he never earned one. He isn't allowed to contact other iterators. His can and puppet are in constant pain that he can't figure out the cause of. If he could, he'd make the Ancients suffer a thousand cycles of constant suffering for making him so flawed from birth. Later on, Blessed Gift got attached to his can so that she could take better care of the Ancients. Much to Untitled's dismay, his can became the capital city. The Ancients tightened his restrictions so much so that he has access to very little functions of his can. Every cycle, Untitled chips a little bit away at his chains, eager to get his revenge.

Blessed Gift

Blessed Gift (she/he/they/it) is the mayor of the capital city. Her can is attached to Untitled Iterator's. She was not made to solve the Great cycle - no, she doesn't even have the tools to try - she was made to solve the Great depression of the Ancients. To revive their love for life, to help them and guide them. Blessed loves the Ancients like her family and refers to them as such. Though they're very strict with her, she knows they love her. They have to. She doesn't want to ascend while her family is still here - or, after. There's many happy memories stored in the crypts, so many to replay if they leave. Perhaps, if they do leave, maybe then they could finally contact other iterators.

Third Vast Attempt

Third Vast Attempt (any and all pronouns) is located near BG and UI. TVA treats their ancients like a chore, never caring too much about their well being. More so, TVA prefers studying the perfect form. Xe isn't too keen on ascending - there's so much to discover, so much to experiment on! There's a legend among the Ancients, a rumour, that she managed to send an overseer down into the Void sea and get footage of a Void worm. Now, they're trying to recreate it. Still, it'd be rather unfortunate to decide that he wants to die one day, and not have the option to, no? Every few cycles, TVA studies on how it, itself, could ascend. It never studies for the Ancients.

TVA has recently made a slugcat-overseer hybrid called One, short for ATTEMPT-001

so, lifegiver said he killed tva, but was it more 'he feels guilty for tva deciding to destroy themself?'

lifey did kill tva, yea !! was more dissappointed in them than guilty tho, i think. and ! tva is. technically still alive. their heart is still beating, brain still functions, they're just like in a coma. like a brain in a jar. lifey could wake them up at any moment in more detail - tva was in lifeys chamber when he found out that tva killed bg. he got upset, because. he's given tva so many chances, and the only thing he's only ever really asked of them was to not kill anyone again. and they wouldn't even tell him the truth! they kept going "ohh well maybe it was a false alarm idk i was here with you the whole time dearest how could i have killed her". but lifey wouldn't let up. tva then out of desperation, like, ten minutes later? told the truth, hoping lifey would be ok with it. that he'd understand they did it bc they love him, etc etc. but umm. he divorced them ❤️ tva then got sooo sad. and said "well if you dont love me i might as well die but u gotta kill me" so he did. he took their core out. then after some slug stuff, like, at least half an hour later, he put their core back in. and. tva was more fine now. they talked more calmly. tva gave lifey access to all her logs . so . lifey read through them n all , n, he still loved her ! tva does, too. made her peace with lifey wanting nothing to do with her. so. together, they took out her core (heart, basically) ❤️

aaand that's it! all three of my iterators are incapacitated! ui is an echo, isn't connected to his communication arrays anymore, bg fell, and tva is umm. technically she could still be revived, but i don't think that will happen.

so! that's the end. t was fun rping with you all! you can still send questions if you want to, and the iterators will anwser. it won't be 'canon', but, their anwsers will be ! unsure if that makes sense. but, either way, their main stories are done. and. most likely won't start up again. thank u all for the fun times, take care!:3

LIFEGIVER: .. I don't know how I should word this, to begin with.

LIFEGIVER: I gave Third Vast Attempt everything I had, because I loved them. The friends I made, the reputation I garnered.. even my own purpose. I threw it all away for them, only for my efforts to be pointless in the end.

LIFEGIVER: They are dead now, if their own broadcast wasn't enough. I killed them. No one has to hunt them down. It's over.

LIFEGIVER: I would apologise to those I have hurt by saving her, but.. they're gone, too

LIFEGIVER: And I don't know what to do. I have nothing left

SBSBOS: I don't deserve the title of Lifegiver anymore. It used to give me pride. A new sense of identity. Now, all I feel is guilt

PRIVATE LOG - Third Vast Attempt

Lifey, I am unsure if you'll ever read this. I'm unsure if you'll read any of my logs... if you do, please know, my feelings for you have changed drastically since we first met. I love you. Even now, as I rust, I love you, and I always will.

I lied. I remember trying to kill Ui and Blessed. As I already said, I couldn't perform the experiment on myself, as my can could have gotten damaged - and, it would have. I. do not like eternity, dearest. I don't like being awake each second of my life. I do not like knowing how much my can rusts each and each cycle. I do not like not knowing the anwser. I didn't like living - but, you gave me a reason to live!

So, I don't regret trying to kil them. Through that action, I got to meet you! You filled my cycles with far more joy than anyone or anything else ever had. No matter what you read in my logs, I love you. I may not have always. But I do. And have, for the majority of our relationship. And always will. I love you.

TVA: This will most likely be the last broadcast to come from my local group, or what's left of it, for quite some time - if not forever. TVA: First, I want to confirm the rumours: yes, yes, I killed Blessed Gift! She was meddling in things that didn't concern her, etc etc etc, none of you really cared about her anyway. TVA: I cannot say I'll miss you all. None of you, really. None other than my dearest Lifegiver. TVA: It is with a heavy heart I announce he has broken off our relationship. TVA: Please, do not harrass him. He didn't even know I was killing her until the deed was done. He had no say in it. Again, please, do not harrass him - he is the kindest soul I have ever met and gave me more chances than I ever deserved. He does not love me anymore, too, unfortunately, and has made it clear he deeply regrets saving me. He didn't wish for this to happen. TVA: Do not harrass him, I repeat. Or I'll come back from the dead to haunt you. Yeah I'm gonna die, destroy my core and all. TVA: .. not really a death, though.. I'll still be concious. I'll be like a brain in a broken jar. BG: if the cycle does claim me as one of its own.. i'll try to find you, whatever my new form may be. i know i'd remember you.
