Listening to the chrocktikal album and running into the problem where it’s fine sounding but ultimately a straightforward, no-frills-whatsoever rock album is a lot less interesting than the rock-fused-with-pop/edm dreamcatcher was doing

I want to go up for the new le sserafim song because a new wave of edm in kpop is appealing to me in a lot of ways even if I do actually like a lot of elements of the post-newjeans fifth gen sound (just find the presentation unforgivably boring), but alas. That song is half-baked. You gotta commit to being as loud and annoying as possible if you’re gonna do that stuff.

Like people can shit on young posse but they fucking committed on their last song. Mid-tier bgs commit and you get stuff like allhours which I actually like lol. Edm but still clearly trying to get radio play and mainstream promotion? Insulting to me personally.
