Changes need to happen- its very hard.
I am proud of myself in a lot of ways but small changes need to happen

my hormones got worse, my anger got worse. I woke up and saw Don Lemmon was arrested and just lost it. And now work stress again and having cravings again. Wanting to depression sleep alot.
But working through the cravings and I have been resting. Now that my period is over this is supposed to be the time I feel stong and all that stuff- I hope it comes. I need motivation, I want to be recognized.
Also I did stick to my changes I wrote last post as much as I could. Trying to quit vape again. Today is day 10
Small Changes I can make this week:
-getting up the same time (7am)
-sticking to my Olivia routine
-no more vape
-getting my to do list done for week

Another month without BC and another period coming. I have definitely felt the emotions- a tiny stuffed bear with a rose in his hands made me cry at the store. I also feel like my life is out of control but that is just the hormones

Starting to get nervous cuz I have blemishes and feeling a little on edge but I did drink coffee. Food thing is top of mind- like maybe I have afrid? Mood feels a little irritable but ok overall today.
I need to gear up for these big changes- start small- things take time I know

This is my year of health, wedding planning, living room makeover, strucutre, lets get completely organized in and mind and body. I will help Dad this year too- maybe this years goal for Dads house is just cleaning and new floors.

Yesterday was much better concentration. Today feels a little lost but I can do it. When I am in bed and I know I should get up, I should just get up. I love my bed and I love mornings when I can sleep in.

Lets keep a mood tracker cuz I finally went off birth control. For context NYE was a doozy party and lots of stuff was consumed so first week of January was giving myself grace with things. I had my first period off of birth control on January 1st, best day ever to track and I had one meltdown day a week before I got my period. Period was ok- heavy but not super crampy but very exhausted.
My hormones might be off. Today I am feeling that nervous feeling, my stomach is about to go on a rolleroaster, concentration feels impossible. Bad news from my sister and friends and the MN shooting of Rene Good feel like a weight on me. Feeling overwhelmed with work and task paralysis all day. Did what I could today.

Hey Journal. This used to be such a part of my life - still searching for who I am. Trying to silence my critic and just send out messages. Is my motivation low cuz rejection, cuz I drank/k this weekend? Still trying not to binge drink but thats what happened last weekend and maybe the weekend before.
So many things have happened- all good but definitely going through so many emotions like:
-work: finding motivation and ways to be organized, belieiving in myself, asking for help when I need, educating myself on talent trends and things, networking, biz dev, getting a routine down
my engagment: yes it finally happened! of course I gotta start planning in 6 months or so- feeling nervous about my weight in photos, but feeling so incredibly grateful and happy to be marrying the man of my dreams. Such a huge milestone for us.
my body: still feeling like my self esteem is down but getting better and better. Trying to silence my critic and tell her we are a team to keep me in line but stop comparing myself to others or wedding photos I see online. questioning stopping birth control so I can drop at least 5-7 pounds- need to get my hormones checked. Went to yoga 4 sunday mornings in a row and that did feel good to be up earlt and energized rather than being hungover.
my addictions: well I decided to quit snow for good. I almost made it to 60 days but had one relapse. Today is day 14 of sobriety from that. This has been the hardest thing to overcome- im moody and irritated and drlnking too much, and trying to figure out my weekends with healthy and fun/intersting things but that is so much harder than you think. I feel fomo and like a loser and anxiety just gets the best of me about going to parties. Also have a new problem with whippets in the house. I came clean to joel which I am happy about and I need to give myself props for almost doing 60 days - I think I needed to experience these tests to continue to understand myself and work through this journey, but so much pain and sadness and comparing and wondering why I cant be more grateful.
Action: noticing I am addicted to scrolling a bit- mostly listening to interiews and research, not following through with my workouts- not holding myself accountable with this and work tasks. Why dont I want to excersie or read or find something different?
At the end of the day, I am doing good and starting more meds have seemed to help- the weekdays I am down- the weekends I am down cuz I am resisiting stuff. The last two weekends we have partied a bit low key. Last night I couldnt sleep so just masturbated and prayed.

Portal is where I am stepping into what I am becoming. On the blood mood, I wrote down what was no longer serving me. I let go and I will open the door to the next version of me.

Endings alignments shift- happens before a breakthrough
I align what is meant for me- I now embody " "
the past is closed, I walk forward with courage, clarity and power.
I am finally starting to realize what I need to do to feel better about myself and my outlook on life but its terrifying. Its very clear I am searching for something to numb- what pain am I numbing? Never feeling good enough for anyone-even myself is what its been like since I can remember. I thought if Joel proposed I would be elated and while I am so happy I am so scared.
Scared of failing, scared of not being or feeling how I want to look or feel for our day and getting my finances in order.
Turn what if I regret this into what if it sets me free?
I think I find it hard to find what really has brought me joy because I did not experience it - I cant think of what brought me joy besides playing with Barbie's, playing with Leah, playing sims. Reading was the outlet- now all I think is numbing the pain of feeling like a loser.
Its so difficult for me to be positive in any sort of way about myself or situations. I sometimes have panic attacks and one thought will pull me in a downward spiral.
Like right now I just feel trapped
What can I do this week to change?
gym
no snow on weekdays
read or try coloring/hobby

Im really disappointed in myself. I can feel this but move on. Im disappointed because I haven't changed my habits. Are more improvements happening? Yes and No?
Getting up earlier, concentrating more on work, not perfect but getting there. better relationship with Joel, feeling more relaxed and maybe "i dont care" kinda attitude. Is this the medicine?
Im in a weird bad mood and hope I can get out of this feeling- I didnt sleep well, I was sweaty, I was tossing and turning.
Just two months ago I was doing better then backslid so much. I am seeing more and more content that I am using so much because it helps my ADD. Makes sense so I guess I need to see a psychiatrist.
I want to acknowledge I cant be on and perfect all the time but I will try to do my best everyday.
Feeling numb everyday is sad to me so something is still going on. How is it possible that I have not worked through my trauma? I need a full reset or something. Maybe start from the beginning?
I know I am not fully living or is it just society now? I know the substances are holding me back.

I had the best birthday ever. So much love with friends on our Mexico Trip then Joel and I had an amazing dinner at Hidden House- slow and easy not rushed- we finished dinner at 930pm. We never do late dinners :)
Joel talked about getting engaged
Dear Meghan,
You are a capable and strong. You have a lot to offer and you need to start finding a hobby- start with gym, more action with work and the rest will come. Its scary lately
1. Stop Looking for a Quick Fix
Harsh truth: you can’t bypass the work. But you can make progress every week, and that progress feels amazing. Think of it as a process, not a personality trait.
2. Identify the Root, Not Just the Symptom
Ask yourself:
Where did this start?
Who made you feel like you weren’t good enough?
What events (rejection, failure, bullying, neglect) taught you to doubt your worth?
You don’t need to fix the past, but understanding it helps you detach from shame. You’ll start realizing: it was never about me being broken—it was about what I was taught to believe.
3. Challenge Your Internal Narrator
Self-esteem issues are often lies told by your inner critic. Notice the negative thoughts, and start reframing them:
From: “I’m not good at this job.” To: “I’m learning how to be better, and that takes time.”
From: “I always mess things up.” To: “I’ve made mistakes, like everyone—but I’ve also made progress.”
4. Build Identity Through Action
Self-esteem isn’t built by thinking—you build it by doing.
Speak up once in a meeting even if your voice shakes.
Take a walk when you want to lie in bed.
Finish one task, even when you feel low.
Every time you do something despite your low self-worth, you teach your brain: “Maybe I am capable.”
5. Start Setting Boundaries
Low self-esteem often leads to people-pleasing, which reinforces the belief that others matter more than you. Try small boundary-setting moments:
Say “No” to a favor you can’t handle.
Pause before you automatically say “yes.”
Protect your time—even from yourself.
6. Keep a Self-Esteem File
Every compliment, thank-you message, success, or win—screenshot it. Save it. Revisit it. You need evidence to counteract your brain’s negativity bias.
7. Therapy, Journaling, or a Trusted Mirror
Sometimes you need a safe person to reflect reality back to you. A therapist can help untangle the deeper knots and validate that your pain makes sense, but your story isn’t finished.
8. Forgive Yourself for the Past
You’ve likely made mistakes, failed, or let yourself down. That doesn’t make you unworthy. It makes you human. Start whispering to yourself:
“I did the best I could with what I knew. I’m allowed to grow.”
9. Anchor Yourself to Values, Not Validation
If you only feel good when you're praised, you're handing your self-esteem to other people. Instead, get clear on your values:
“I value kindness.”
“I value persistence.”
“I value authenticity.”
Then ask: Did I live that value today? That’s your new measure of success—not how perfect, productive, or praised you were.
Finally: You’re not behind.
You’re exactly where a lot of strong, thoughtful, sensitive people find themselves when they’ve been carrying too much for too long.

What is holding me back?
Phone- put it away and take small breaks
Internet- only use during breaks
Self Esteem- work in progress, think about your wins
Where to improve: serious sourcing time, ask for help, use deals to keep track of leads, change work space?
Networking- get out there to get leads and boost confidence
Action- apply this to work and getting to the gym or moving body at home
What’s Holding You Back (Root Causes):
Phone Distractions: You’re self-aware that your phone steals time and mental energy. Even short pickups can break your sourcing flow or distract from outreach plans.
Internet Wandering: Passive browsing during work hours is a form of avoidance. It’s not laziness—it’s usually tied to self-doubt or feeling overwhelmed.
Self-Esteem: You’re in a season where you know you’re capable but sometimes forget to feel that way. This affects risk-taking (like cold outreach or asking for business) and follow-through.
Where to Improve (Practical Levers):
Dedicated Sourcing Time: Treat sourcing like a client meeting—non-negotiable. Two 60–90 minute blocks a day without distractions could be game-changing.
Use Deals in Loxo: This is the system that keeps you honest and allows others to support you. You don’t have to love CRMs—but you need to leverage them.
Ask for Help: You don’t need to figure everything out solo. Whether it’s with a tricky req, a dry pipeline, or how to pitch a client—use your team.
Environment Upgrade: If your workspace isn’t helping you focus, switch it up. Move locations mid-day, clean your desk, use a standing desk—anything to signal “focus mode.”
Mindset & Momentum (Confidence Builders):
Celebrate the Wins: Farha expansion, Lamar reorders, smarter candidate screens—these are real wins. Write them on a sticky note. Read them when self-doubt creeps in.
Network = Confidence Fuel: Get on the phone, show up to events, or even just reach out to old contacts. Movement leads to momentum. Confidence follows action, not the other way around.
Whole-Life Action Plan: The same muscle that gets you to the gym or outside for a walk is the one that makes you follow through on cold outreach. Build one habit at a time—energy breeds energy.
