Things have been so crazy since getting our house! We’ve moved in, started our remodel (so really only half moved in), baby girl is sleeping in her own room and work has been crazy. I now understand why people hate living in a house during a remodel, I feel so unsettled and I just used the master bath as a kitchen 😂
12 hour shift on 4 hours of sleep?! I don’t think this is going to be very much fun... 😴
Back to work
I had to suddenly go back to work this week. The loan underwriters didn’t believe I was going to go back when my leave ended in March so I had to go back now to prove it! It’s complete bullshit! I did miss my friends and working as a nurse to some extent but I also miss my kids like crazy and would have liked to get baby girl sleeping better. At least it’s just 2-12 hour shifts a week, I can do this right?!

Sweet sleep 😴
Just when I thought I would never sleep more than fours at a time again baby girl slept for 9 hours straight last night! 👏👏👏 This awful cold we’ve been trying to kick may have something to do with it. Hopefully it’s not the cold and just a new trend.
Sometimes as a mom of a young baby the lack of sleep just catches up with you! It’s 3:04 am, I’m sitting in my living room pumping and thinking about how I can’t even remember what it feels like to sleep all night (or more than 4 hours at a time)! I’m so tired ALL THE TIME...but I don’t want to wish away the time with my tiny baby either.
House stuff is moving a long nicely, this may actually happen! Only took offering on six properties over 15 months to find a house, please let this be it!
We’re getting a house!!
Well hopefully, our offer was accepted and we have our inspection on Saturday! If everything goes according to planned we’ll close in January. I am so freaking excited, we’ve been house hunting for over a year!!!
There were ten other offers on this property and we got it! I can’t believe it!
I don’t go back to work for almost 3 months and I already have 62 4 oz bags of breast milk in the deep freezer! At least pumping pays off, even if I hate it!
My 2 year old has bronchitis! He was literally crying out for us every 20 min all night! Finally we brought him into our bed which was a little better until he started screaming there too and waking up his 2 month old sister😭, the whole family got less than 3 hours sleep. We really need a bigger house! 900 sq feet is too small for a family of four!

I wish I could just breastfeed and not worry about storing milk, but I must go back to work at some point so it’s really nice to have a frozen supply. Also I pumped and stored over 40 oz this week! So at least it’s worth my time😜
