He crossed his eyes, looking at Lee’s finger. “Yes, but how am I supposed to get in when you’re not home?” he asked, not mentioning that when someone wasn’t home you usually just didn’t go in.
Another cat had now joined in with gently batting at Forest’s tail, completely oblivious to the fact that someone was attached to it.
Leeland snorted. “You’re n-not. G-good job it was me who w-walked in and not Rusty.”
“Who’s Rusty?” Forest asked, swishing his tail along the floor for the cats to chase. It was more fur than actual tail and he couldn’t feel them.
