A story about ming fan to regresses continuously just to end up with a confinement end every single time. (This one is gonna be long. But I gotta let it all out or I'll go crazy)
The first timeline, PDIW was totally fucked and not even gods can save it. However with the way things are progressing it's very likely that it'll affect the other timelines and start corrupting them too. So the council of systems quickly decided to alter the past, even though it was usually considered a taboo. If the first timeline were to be destroyed, human desire for entertainment would disappear, and the systems would be out of a job. Since it was such a big deal, no one disagreed.
However, in order to avoid chaos on the timeline (it was very likely that multiple systems would lead to multiple different opinions and would likely make the situation worse), they also decided to minimize their intervention as much as possible. Therefore, they decided to send the consciousness of a person who had these memories back into the past, and give that person the mission to go back in time repeatedly until they prevented Bunhe's blackening and subsequent destruction of the three realms.
However, the problem was that when sending a person back in time, they could only carry over memories of what they actually experienced during their lifetime. No matter how much information the gods tried to cram into them after death, it was useless.
The information from their lifetime was far too insufficient for anyone, making it extremely difficult to accomplish the mission in a limited number of loops. However, making him go through the loop too many times could cause him to suffer mental breakdown.
In that case, it would be better to entrust the mission to someone with an iron will who doesn't break until the end. Someone with no deep worldly attachments but still enough loyalty and no overwhelming control over binghe's life which could possibly lead to a power trip and more abuse.
The spotlight fell onto Ming Fan, an authority figure with a suitable amount of control over binghe's childhood, someone who is quick witted and doesn't have attachments and complicated emotions like Sqq (SJ), and is mentally strong enough to endure the strain of continuous reincarnation... (Or something along those lines idk any reason you can think of as fo why ming fan would be chosen is fine ❤️).
Anyways, with that the systems have ming fan a mission and the bare minimum amount of information necessary to complete said mission. Then sent his soul back to the past where binghe was just accepted onto the peak.
To put it simply. It went badly. Ming fan was obviously still reeling from his own death (iron will or not being eaten alive by ants isnt something that you just ignore). And while he didn't actively abuse bunhe he also completely neglected the kid and stayed far away from him. In fact often telling other disciples to stay away as well, some do, some don't. Either way, it led to binghe leading a very isolated life in qj peak, and with no one on his side to protect him (nyy constantly swept away by mf who believed he was doing so for her own safety), lbh actually suffered even more under sqq. And so the first loop ended miserably without mf even being able to do anything. Tortured to death again. Though this time. Binghe kept him locked up like a prisoner and treated him like sqq mini, often demanding to know why shixiong was so fearful of such a little boy, revelling in mf panicking just at the sight or smell or sound of him now. Eventually mf succumbed to stomachache from being penetrated too deep and died.
Having learned from his mistakes, mf decided to suck it up and become a good shixiong. Most importantly starting with his own peak. Despite being head disciple, ming fan's popularity is lowk rock bottom, due to him mostly working behind the scenes to help his master and being Shizun's asslicker instead of making a name for himself like other head disiciples (liu mingyan for example).
So he started being more attentive to his own peak, instead of ordering them around and bringing his lackeys to bully people or discriminate or flirt with girls. He tried to be a good Big Brother who cares for everyone and everyone fairly. Binghe's life was improved.
And in conclusion... Ming fan failed. Behind his back, some disicples were still bullying poor bunhe for being close to nyy (he didn't dissuade her from approaching binghe this time). And ming fan couldn't do anything about his Shizun's abuse of binghe, aside from causally looking out for him and giving him a room and board, ultimately he still couldn't do anything about binghe's blackening.
This time around, ming fan was given a room in the lowest concubine ring where he was treated like a living stress toy binghe was only mildly interested in, deigning to give him attention only once every two three months. Mf succumbed to poisoning by an ambitious concubine who wanted to move up the ranks quickly.
Ming fan thought he would be alone again this time. But surprisingly Shizun came to visit him in the middle of the night and told him that he remembered. It turned out that the systems realize with the way things are going the only way mf could possibly save binghe is if he literally eloped with the boy, so they bent the rules a little more and gave sqq his memories, but only of mf's second loop.
He convinced Shizun to at least be just be neglectful of binghe. Since there was no way they could win against him. And sqq, having experienced enough torture and seeing yqy die, agreed. Mf managed to stop the bullying as well with many lessons about the psychological impact words could have on youths. And made sure and lbh and nyy had plenty of space and time to develop their romantic feelings. He believed himself to be a great brother figure this time around. Convinced that it finally worked
Things almost, almost went well this time... But the immortal alliance conference came. And this time around, bunhe's identity as a heavenly demon was broadcasted to the whole world for some reason, as sqq's milder personality led to some other peak lords and immortal masters to follow sqq into the jue di gorge. Shizun has no choice but to push bunhe down. But the boy swore he would return.
Anyways, this time, ming fan found himself in the middle of harem politics. His Shizun was confined eternally in a small room where lbh would occasionally visit and have very tense talks with him. And mf was once again trapped. Though this time as a beloved "wife" of lbh's, one of his many many many. Mf shared close quarters with nyy and was treated roughly the same as her. Mf succumbed to harem politics blowout, and died from another wife's plotting.
Now that both sqq and mf knew that there was absolutely no way they could avoid lbh being pushed down into the abyss, Shizun took mf to get some emergency countermeasures. The previous life was the closest one to making sure binghe doesn't corrupt so far, they just needed more time and ore freedom. So he took mf to Bai lu forest to get the sun and moon dew flower seeds to make a body.
They got in contact with an ugly ass snake, and mf feeling a sense of pity for it decides to toss it some seeds. They planted the bodies and returned where they did the same thing but spoiled bunhe more and gave him more attention.
After bunhe was pushed into the abyss however. Mf went snooping around the hhp records trying to figure out how binghe was able to take over such a major sect so quickly, wherein he stumbled upon the tale of tlj and sxy... Then he was caught by the ugly snake he took pity on.
Zzl and tlj kept him around for a little bit, teasing and touching and fucking him moreso out of boredom than genuine desire. Until mf ended up making some kind of mistake (perhaps snooping or talking too much, mf has never been quite as charming as his Shizun after all). And mf died, his emergency body was destroyed as well as tlj forced mf to tell him the location to use as blackmail. Mf died before binghe even exited the abyss.
This time. Mf pulled out all the stops.
He spoiled bunhe but only enough so that he didn't fall in love with him, made sure no one was bullying him, he taught bunhe on flora and fauna and how to prepare monster meat and how to hunt them and trained him so bunhe is capable of standing his own. Shizun also increased his affection with the other peak lords to make sure that when the time comes they will back him up and make sure no one gets hurt overall.
Though, mf actually still decided to help the snake. After the previous loop he went digging as much as he could and got the true story about what happened to sxy. He came to tlj, freed and told him the truth. Then quickly left as soon as he delivered for seeds.
This time around everything was genuinely perfect, bunhe had entered the abyss by his own volition promising he will return alive and victorious and bring Shizun and shixiong very nice gifts, everything was looking up... Then he got kidnapped. This time by tlj! Shizun was so mad he vomited blood as tlj paraded the fact that he has the qjp head disciple with him and mf was going to be his next wife/toy now that sxy is dead. This is the bare minimum of what humanity could do in order to repay him for all they have done against him. Mf was fucked daily and died on the bed because he couldn't handle pureblood heavenly demon dick
When binghe exited the abyss and heard the news about what happened with his shixiong, it turned into an epic battle as lbh stumbled upon the sight of tlj hugging mf's freshly died body, looking lost. The subsequent fighting destroyed mf's body in the process and neither demon noticed until it was too late.
Mf woke up... Chained to a pole?!? Mf looked up shocked to see his Shizun bloodshot eyes and angry muttering and boarding all the windows and doors. Oh no! Mf had been so preoccupation with lbh and tlj that he didn't notice his Shizun was cracking from seeing his disciple die in such gruesome ways over and over again!
Now mf was tied to a pole and confined in a secret chamber in the bamboo house while sqq claimed he would solve the problem on his own. Sqq spun a tale about how mf had tragically passed from an accident merely a few days after binghe was admitted to the sect. Mf was kept in total isolation by Shizun and although he wasn't abused, every attempt to move or escape resulted in brutal punishment that left mf paralyzed.
Of course, it went badly, Shizun tried but his unstable mental state meant that bunhe was still blackened, cqm was attacked by Huan hua, sqq was taken, and mf died again in isolation.
When mf woke up, it was to frantic apologies from his Shizun, who said he was temporarily overtaken by a qi deviation and it won't happen again. But before he was able to say anything, he was roughly pulled away, by binghe?! Binghe growled at Shizun and claimed this lord will make sure shixiong is safe this time. But bunhe was suddenly pushed away by nyy leading a group of qjp disciples who surrounded mf and Shizun abd protected them. Then a snake demon jumped out at them as well as a tiny baby heavenly demon who looked suspiciously like tlj.
As it turns out, lbh's blackening problem was already solved 2 loops ago. And it only continued due to the systems feeling bad for mf. And so they changed the objective from saving lbh to making sure mf gets a happy ending. They reincarnated everyone with memories from loop 1 onwards (not counting the original timeline).
So in everyone's eyes, mf is currently "the poor martyr who always tries his best to help everyone yet he is kidnapped and imprisoned every time, suffers a tragic fate and dies, and is someone who must be protected at all costs."
And so, a massive brawl exploded on qjp. Mf wears a vacant expression, wondering how it ended up like this
