Modern Day SVSSS AU where all the characters in PIDW are reborn with all their memories intact
Many of them get together and form a group with one goal in mind: find the author of PIDW (also find out where Luo Binghe is because none of them have seen him)
The group consists of the Peak Lords and some disciples (Ming Fan, Ning Yingying, and Liu Mingyan), plus Mobei Jun and Sha Hualing working together despite their past differences. They are all human now after all
Still, things are awkward between Shang Qinghua and Mobei-Jun, one who betrayed and one who killed the other, but they all still work together to find the man who ruined wrote their lives
After throwing enough money at the problem (Shen Jiu is reborn rich in this world) they finally find the author's tiny apartment and break in to find Xiang Fei, a small man who is clearly not doing well
He is past out on the bed with heavy eye bags and the only food found in the apartment is chips and ramen. He also looks like he recently suffered through electrocution and should be in the hospital, but he doesn't look to be able to afford it
Mobei-Jun is no longer angry at the author and decides to kidnap the hamster man and take him to be healed (and after maybe bring him home) and the others just allow it. Revenge didn't feel right when the person looked so pathetic
They're still worried about Luo Binghe, only to find out that he's dating Shen Jiu's younger brother! Shen Yuan is the reason Shen Jiu was even aware of PIDW, and the oblivious man is in a relationship with the protagonist?!
