things I will need to embrace when I move:

- budgeting. being more conscious with my finances, spending less, making better choices.

- walking more. both for getting around the city and also for health and wellbeing.

- resilience. it's going to be scary and uncomfortable and uncertain for a while whilst I build a new life.

- colder weather. getting used to regular snow and colder temperatures than i've been used to before.
