As he stood, showing his full height her eyes did briefly go widen, sworn that he was much taller than she had thought. Perhaps he was a descendant of a giant. "Yer welcome!" She said with a smile, but it became shy when he asked her name. How rude of her to invite him to her home without introducing herself. Her parents raised her better than that, and know if she was around - she would scold her.
"M-My name is...Siobhan," She would respond, the shy smile remained on her features. "I'm s...sorry for...not in...in...introducing myself prior. N-None the less, it...is a...p...p...pleasure to meet you. Wh-What is y-y-your name?"
As she spoke, she realized how patient the man was with her speech. And noticed how similar their speeches were, mind you, her vocal circumstances were different compared to his. Still, it was nice for her to meet someone who was somewhat like her, and could be patient with her. Not many were.
"Do not be...a...alarmed if you...s...s...see a man...at th...th...the house. That is...j...j...just my brother, Blaise. He is...v...v...very kind. He is...n...n...not a m...m...morning person; he of...often sleeps...a...around this time. You...will...s...s...see him in the...e...evening."
Siobhan did speak the truth of her brother - he carried his heart on his sleeve, at times could be a bit guarded and protective of her. Probably a bit stubborn, too, but he was a good person.
The journey to the McDougal house was not far, about a mile. It was a white bungalow house, simple but had a cozy feeling. The grass was partially turning brown. Green bushes surrounded the front area, filled with black roses.
Siobhan walked to the front door, unlocked and opened it. "M-Make yerself at home." Siobhan said, walking inside, and closed the door after Adam came in. Just as they step inside, a black rabbit was standing in the hallway, its small tail swayed excitedly. But it was no ordinary rabbit - it was a two-headed rabbit. Their bright red eyes looked at Siobhan with admiration, and quickly their eyes moved on to Adam. One rabbit lowered his head, expressing shyness, while the other was looking at him with curiosity. They would approach him, sniffing him before gently pressing their heads against his ankle.
"Th-That's Jack...and H...H...Hamish, I h...h...hope you...do not...m...m...mind animals. They're...very...sweet." Siobhan reached over to gently rub their heads, then made a dash into the kitchen where a slow cooker was on the counter; the delicious scents of cooked beef and basil filled the house. "That sh...should be...ready in...a few...minutes. I...will set th...the table. Wh...What would...y...you like to drink? Hot chocolate?"
