the suit of swords is associated with intellect, air, understanding, the mind and mental activity, masculinity, sorrow, misfortune, truth, clarity, communication, thoughts/thinking and logic.
this suit commonly handles matters of the mind, troubled thoughts and things you think about/that are on your mind often and may be holding you back. often when a card in the suit of swords is pulled it points out something thats been on your mind, that thing typically being whatever the card itself or whatever the card it follows/comes before represents. often times this suit will offer you logical/logic based solutions to the issues on your mind.
this suit is also known as the suit of spades, has 14 cards from ace(1) through ten, page, knight, queen and a king.
common imagery in this suit includes but is not limited to: swords, spades, lots of movement in the artwork as a representation for air (meaning the lines and things arent still/stiff images), light grays, pale blues, muted tones.
