He wanted to fly back up but he couldn't. His wings were already burning up and shrivelling away from the friction of the fall. He kept screaming in pain, tears forming in his eyes as he was continuously falling until he landed onto the surface below and then passed out.

Rody woke up, groaning in both exhaustion and pain. He wasn't expecting to see that his whereabouts completely changed. He was petrified, of course. He observed his location and he was absolutely sure that he ended up in hell. He didn't want to believe that he had fallen.

He was about to rub his temples to release some stress but was abruptly stopped when he felt something attached to the sides of his head. There's not one, but two of them, one on each side. He traced his fingers along the objects to identify, realising that they were horns.

His eyes widened. This can't be happening, right? Right?? He wanted to be in denial but he couldn't change the fact that he's also grown a long black tail. What shocked him the most out of all was that his wings have gone completely black and now resembling a demon's wings.

Rody now has snake eyes instead of his normal eyes. He can no longer see the stars. As much as he wanted to, he's completely blinded. It's a side effect of becoming a demon. His vision to see those twinkling beauties in the sky was no longer possible for him. How sad.
