this is kinda random but when i watched alien: covenant (my first time seeing any of the alien movies), a friend and i jokingly compared what david 8 was doing to ruan mei/the premise of the 1.6 quest

now that i’ve seen a few more of the alien films (so far i’ve seen covenant, romulus, prometheus, and alien 1979 in that order, don’t ask 😭) i actually kinda like the idea of some sort of cross over/AU lol

i think an AU would moreso just be the main 1.6 quest characters taking part in a situation more like what’s happening in prometheus which in my humble opinion would basically just be 1.6 with (a new type of) xenomorphs instead of the stings

ruan mei discovering the black liquid and using it in her experimentation to bring back the emanator of propagation and it leads to some more insect looking xenos LMAKSJSKSN or even if not for that i think she’d be fascinated by the liquid and see what else it could lead to in general

this is just a silly idea that i’ve kinda sorta had since may/june after watching covenant and after seeing a few more of the movies i feel like an idea is actually brewing. if anyone happens to be an HSR and alien enjoyer plz share thoughts and opinions ily
