I like how dated this advert for Gordon’s Gin is - the use of camera and musical accompaniment really captures the 1970s. I like its simplicity and effectiveness. It’s safe to say I felt thirsty watching this.

Created using found footage from 1980′s Pepsi commercials, this video by David Dean Burkhart makes me yearn for a time I never existed within.  Boy, do I wish I had made this. The video’s delicate curation partnered with an edit that works in partnership with the song ‘Cherry Pepsi’ makes for an amazing video. 

For me, there’s a sinister undertone to this video – the visual bombardment of commercials almost reminds me of They Live (1988).

Andrew Winghart’s Emergence

I’m in love with this video for its cinematic simplicity – it allows for the technicality of the choreography to take centre stage in the viewers’ mind. The camera work works in sync with the movement of the dancers’ body movement and formations.
