Zero… one of Mindia’s first friends on his trips outside; who would have thought he could have an amiable relationship with a being so malignant in his purpose. Beyond that, he even saved the rabbit’s life once. Mindia decided to do what he did best in the form of a greeting, float up and plop down on Zero’s head.

“It’s been… somewhere around more than a few months, hasn’t it? Things have been remarkably slow and uneventful, which I’m not sure whether to be thankful for or bored because. I had lost track of you and wasn’t sure where you’ve been, so I’ve been sort of worried!”

“Well, I’d rather not… dwell on the past,” he stated flatly, the hurt evident in his tone. “I’ll summarize it like this. Shit happened, and I fixed it in the end.” He sighed, his smile becoming more genuine as he pet the rabbit, glad to be getting back into his old routine. “What have I missed in my absence?”

A tilt of the head in response; endless curiosity over what events and information he wasn’t privy to had to have a lid on it, just for the sake of respect. He wasn’t about to let the petting end, anyways.

“I’ll take your word for it, then… as for what you’ve missed, remarkably little. You remember Mara, that hotheaded sister of mine? She’s been busy cleaning bounty boards and striking down beasts left and right! Myself, I’ve been spending a lot of time in Gensokyo for whatever reason, along with learning a bit of alchemy. My magic ability hasn’t really grown or shrunken in the time, though..”
