RIGHT asexuality doesnt “”water down”” any other sexuality, gayness is gayness whether with or without asexuality, a gay ace is just as gay as a gay allo, having sex doesn’t make you any more of a Real gay than not having it regardless of if you’re ace or not and it’s deeply strange to suggest otherwise for a multitude of reasons. ace gay people ARE gay people. an ace gay person isn’t “taking” away anything from gay people. that’s still a gay person. this is like binary people crying and kicking bc a nonbinary person headcanoned a character as nonbinary & mlm instead of binary gay. can you all learn to behave!

on a related note can you all learn the difference between “desexualized” and “asexual” because despite how you all act about it those are in fact not the same thing because asexuality is not stripping anyone of anything it’s simply having a sexuality you apparently think they shouldn’t have because reasons. if you think asexuals are some kind of alien creatures incapable of sexual agency and whose sole purpose in fiction is to take things away from you then that says much more about you than it does about the ace people who lovingly HC their faves as asexual.
