hi i saw the spiderverse au made by @kyri45 and @sam-i-am-27 and went insane over the idea of symbiote simon so i kinda did my own take on the concept! kept the hood and cape to be in line with their AU design, but very much went insane on the Everything Else. like how the fuck did i paint that. VERY pleased with how it turned out lmao

I have been trying so hard to get Googleplier with K from Blade Runner 2049 to catch on. Like, the whole plot of Blade Runner revolves around synthetic people, Google is an android, it’s perfect!

I am upset you sent this as an anon ask because you deserve credit for this absolute banger duo. I, for some reason, used to be so attached to Googleplier so maybe I’m biased, but I love this sm. It just objectively makes sense. Like they could easily exist in the same world.

Even tho I be redrawing scenes between K and Joi, I actually don’t think Googleplier would be a stand in for her. He’d be his own Replicant. Perhaps an older model for some angst between the two (◑_◑)

Okay you mentioned going in the ask box for crackships, and I would like to suggest to you: stuntstar OR La-La-by, you can do either, or none. Stuntstar is Colt Seavers x Actor Mark, and La--La-by is Dave (from The Edge of Sleep) x Sebastian Wilder. Obviously you don't have to do either, but I sincerely love both of them, for very different reasons lol.

I do plan on eventually doing stuntstar since it is one of the more popular ships, BUT, the concept of La-La-By was so fascinating to me I had to ponder it first. Like first off, one of the smartest ship name I’ve ever seen, second off, I weirdly see it. I feel like their personalities would work really well together. I personally ended up landing on them lowkey being in a qpr (or at least they never label themselves and just exist together) The true definition of “and they were roommates”.

Also just a silly ‘comic’ idea that would not leave me alone.

I’m not surprised this is a kinda popular pairing. They make sense together truly! I can see so many interpretations of them together, here’s what I personally thought of:

For some reason they give off short time besties as kids before Yancy suddenly vanishes. Then they just happen to cross paths again whenever Yancy hears word of a great get-away-driver. Only for them to be separated again once Yancy gets arrested and Driver goes on the run. Meeting up one last time (after Yancy’s release), and finally, able to stay at each other’s side for good.

I imagine they like just sitting in any forested areas and just enjoying the view and tranquility of it. Even if it always makes them wonder, “How did we get here?” They obviously know the answer, but sometimes it feels unbelievable.

Also I’d like to apolocheese for not responding to goslingplier requests for a while, just had other ideas in mind + being busy, but I’m back at it.
