This blog will be dedicated mostly to my ramblings/opinions on the following game series:

The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Call of Duty, Dragon Age, Watch Dogs, Gears of War, Assassin’s Creed, and the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games!

Of course these won’t be the only games I talk about, but they are the main ones I think about on a daily basis. <3

Call of Duty: Ghosts had potential.

This is a hot take, I know. But I genuinely feel that Ghosts was a good game. Well, in theory anyways.

The game is fairly short, the maps were too big and confusing, and the story lacked in many areas. All of this unfortunately made the game feel rushed, unfocused, and ultimately- unfinished. Because of these factors, the game was reviewed poorly and destroyed any plan for a sequel.

It’s been years since Ghosts came out and I’ll admit i’m still disappointed we were left with such a huge and infuriating cliff hanger, no sequel, and to top it all off they put an Eminem song in the end credits. This might be the worst crime of all. (/j…. /hj)

I can only hope they might consider a reboot, and with all the interest in Keegan lately, (y’all are so valid and same tbh) I think there could be a slight chance for an eventual comeback. (After the Modern Warfare reboots are completed ofc)

The characters were good, the plot was interesting, there were a lot of neat gameplay mechanics, and of course the parts where you got to play as Riley were all very entertaining.

The hope for a reboot is probably just wishful thinking and the desire to appease 14 year old me back in 2013 who was disappointed with the game’s ending. (And 24 year old me who recently replayed the game for nostalgia.) (And Keegan.)

Anyways, I just wanted to know if there was anyone else with an interest in a revival of Ghosts.
