I’ve always been deeply attached to my mom growing up, it felt like it was just part of who I am. (When my parents divorced, I wasn’t allowed to see her for years, which was really tough.) Maybe that’s why I tend to form intense bonds, whether in friendships or relationships. Meeting new people scares me sometimes because, in the end, it’s always me who struggles to detach.
There’s so much that I can’t stand this month, even though, logically, there’s nothing wrong with any of it.
This year feels like a crash course in life lessons I should have mastered years ago. It’s as if the universe decided to hit me with every delayed lesson all at once, forcing me to confront my flaws, my choices, and even the things I’ve been too afraid to admit to myself. Every mistake, heartbreak, and setback feels like a painful but necessary teacher, dragging me toward growth I didn’t know I needed. It’s exhausting, but deep down, I can sense that these experiences are shaping me into someone stronger, wiser, and more prepared for the future. Maybe this is the year I stop surviving and start truly understanding what it means to live.

Even if your life sucks right now, you can do things to make it suck less. Learn to make your favorite coffee drink. Wear clothes you really like. Do yoga. Sometimes the small things save us.
i apologize to myself for pretending i was receiving enough when i wasn’t.

not me, not you.
Don't make the mistake of being so understanding and forgiving that you overlook the fact that you're being disrespected.
You hold yourself so well, people would never suspect you're going through hell.
