i don’t understand the concept of a friendship where you only have one foot in; you’re conservative with others that you call friends. these are people who cause parasitic or one sided friendships where they know that you want them to be your friend, and they will do the bare minimum to maintain it. whenever they need something whether it be support, a chat, sex or even an excuse for a night out, they will contact you and use you. as soon as you bring that up or try to get the same out of the friendship as they have, it turns into a battle. you will recognize that it is not equal but completely one sided. it will make you upset. it will make you question this persons intentions. 

i don’t believe that friendships should have expectations, however they do carry responsibilities. friendship is symbiotic. it is sharing. it is taking each person into consideration. 

and to think, all you wanted was this person in your life. and you let them in while they only allowed you to peak into theirs. and you will struggle to want that person even after they don’t want anything to do with you because of their own selfish perspective.
