data was the final project for VFX production course. With this video I wanted to view the current phenomenom regarding social media. Nowadays everyone is more connected to each other than we've ever been, yet we are more disconnected than ever. It is easy to mindlessly scroll through the endless stream of content and drown your thoughts in it. While this video mainly focuses on the addictive part of social media, it also hints to pay attention on where your data goes to.

H3LM1Q started as a regular character animation, where the goal was to rig a character using Mixamo and then make it move with Mixamo’s animations. I started the exercise by making my character jump over a hole. After the first hours I got inspired by the materials available in BlenderKit and wanted to create a story of some kind.

H3LM1Q started as a regular character animation, where the goal was to rig a character using Mixamo and then make it move with Mixamo's animations. I started the exercise by making my character jump over a hole. After the first hours I got inspired by the materials available in BlenderKit and wanted to create a story of some kind.
The story behind H3LM1Q (Helmikuu) is loosely inspired by my own experiences during different Februaries. For me February is usually the time where I might fall into the hole of despair and shut myself out. The history was about to repeat itself when I couldn't get out of bed the day this exercise was given. I thought I should do the minimum for it and call it a day, since February was really kicking my ass. Against all odds I found the inspiration from my misery and pushed myself to visualize the struggle of avoiding falling into the hole.

Before this project I had only created one (extremely poorly made and with absolutely 0 smart decisions) low poly model of our teacher (featured in this project) and barely passed a beginner 3D animation course. In the span of 2,5 weeks I was able to grasp the basics of modeling and texturing in Blender and even tried a little bit of animation on my own.
The room I created was heavily inspired by my personal experience of 2016-2018. Back then I was heavily interested in "Tumblr aesthetics" and certain artists. The posters of these artists can be seen on the walls.
For me, the aesthetic I'm talking about meant grid patterns, vinyl records and vines climbing on the walls.
Although, if we're being honest, 2016-2018 were probably the worst years of my life I still think about those years with warmth and yearn for them when the wave of nostalgia hits.
This project also features the worst rigging ever created, but you would never know. I guess sometimes you need to fail miserably in order to succeed next time.
And because I'm extra, I made a little video showcase of my room too.

TWENTYSIXTEEN was an optional rendition for the final project of the 3D Graphics course and the first time I actually used Blender for modeling, textures and animating. The real final project of the course was to create a room and a character.
My room is heavily inspired by the 2016-2018 era from my personal point of view. I wanted to create the dream room of mine from said era, featuring plants and posters of my favorite artists, games and shows. The room also features a version of me wearing the ever so stylish space buns.

NUQQU - Brand identity project (2025)

Nuqqu was an imaginary night time tea brand I created at school for the course of Broadcast Graphics. The goal was to create a full brand and create logos, color palettes, mockups and advertising for the brand. For Nuqqu my goal was to create a mystic and calming night tea brand.
Assets created for this project
Logo and variations
For the logo my goal was to embrace the mystic, nocturnal feeling of the brand, warmth of a night time tea cup and the compassion the brand provides to its customers. The nocturnal feeling comes from the shooting stars of the Q-letters and also the stars. The shooting stars also signify the steam rising from a tea cup. Compassion is conveyed by the letter Q surrounded by the "arms" of the U's.
Color palette
The color palette is mainly inspired by the sunset sky. The main color, Blue Violet, is inspired by space. It stands out from the other colors, but makes a beautiful mix with the dark blue, Jaguar, and shows faint blue outlines. Pale Lavender represents the stars in the night sky. The supporting colors – Soft Blue, Sahara Sand and Pale Magenta – were picked from an image of sun setting and making the sky burst in colors.
Patterns
The patterns are made out of the Q-letters without the shooting stars. Because of the wide range of colors, the patterns can be widely used for different purposes, such as decoration for tea box interiors.
Typography
As I mentioned before, I wanted the logo to feel nocturnal but also magical. That's why I found Luna Morta to be a perfect start point for my logo design; the mystical shapes and the little stars encapsulated my vision. For title font my choice was Playfair Display. I have wanted to include it in a project since I was a kid and NUQQU was a perfect fit. As for body font I chose Nunito Sans for its simple, soft elegance.
Logo animations
For the logo animation I wanted to focus on the warmth of the tea and the steam that rises from it. I also wanted to communicate that drinking NUQQU makes your senses rise to new realms. The logo animation -video also features a little video transition I designed specifically for this brand.
Product mockups
The main product my imaginary brand produces is night time iced teas, served in cans. The inspiration for the can design was, once again, the night sky. My idea was to have a base can design and change the color of the sky depending on the flavor of each can. For example, the can of Purple Haze is inspired by twilight and the can of Mellow Mango is inspired by sunrise.
For the loose leaf tea I created a simple see-through bag with a little design on top. The inside of the bag is decorated with the patterns shown earlier.
Website mockup
A good brand needs its home page, so I came up with one for NUQQU. The landing page features simple clickable titles to learn more about the brand or scroll through the various projects. In the center of the page you can see the new products. Scrolling down will lead you to see all the social media posts of NUQQU, easily in one place.
Social media post example
I also created a short Instagram Reel demo for my brand. In this example I created an imaginary short form video series about tea tips. The video in question showcased the best night time teas with short descriptions, featuring magnolia, chamomile and lavender.
Outdoor ad mockup
For the outdoor ad, I wanted to create a simple poster with some animation. The slogan "Pikku huikka hyvää yötä" sounded great and calming to me but to my surprise I later found out that some people found it threatening, almost violent.

Fly Around, Fly Away (Official Visualiser) was made for the debut single of an aspiring artist named TiLHi. The visualiser is inspired by scrapbook aesthetics and childhood whimsy. The visualiser follows a story of a little girl waking up in her room to fairies wanting to lead her into their magical world.
For this project I was in charge of the final composition and animation. I created all the girl and fairy assets and also some of the backgrounds.
