Incredibly random, but honestly… Sonic Unleashed would be pretty neat as a TV show.

Obviously there might be some changes and the need to give the story more “meat” since gameplay makes up most of the story time and pacing, but I can’t help but think it’d be a great opportunity to 1) Expand even more on sonic lore with the Gaias, ancient history, etc and 2) getting to see Sonic and Chip (as well as potentially Amy and Tails?) interact more with the various cultures that parallel real world locations. It’d also 3) be cool to see how the world breaking impacted the populace even more.

Obviously I doubt that Sega would ever make that, but one can dream…

one thing i really appreciate about Unleashed is its NPCs

they aren't crucial to the story and completely optional. you're not forced to interact with them (with the exception of some instances when the game does require you to talk, like to gain access to more of the world). but they exist!

what's even better is, if you spend enough time with them, they start mixing together and interacting with the different nations. ya love to see it!

there's a hardworking little girl in Spagonia with a sick grandmother, a shy globetrotting salesman with a Chao puppet companion, a sailor in Apotos who lost his memory and forgot his son, a son in Shamar who wants to pursue his dream but is held back by his father, a girl in Mazuri looking for her true love, and that's not even half of them

heck, there's even a grandfather in Chun-nan that tries to cure Sonic of his 'ailment' (Werehog transformation) and goes on to mentor a med student from Empire City

each one of them has a different story to tell, has their own unique personality and goals, and they're all great.

i mean gosh their designs alone fit so well in the Sonic theme, it's sad they kinda just came and went

hot dog missions i don't really care about but the NPCs are just so fleshed and diverse i care dearly for pretty much every one

i've kinda taken a surprise hiatus and just left Tumblr entirely. didn't inform you guys and i'm sorry about that

Unleashed content isn't done for, i'll try and get back into the groove since hey it's summer and the vibin' isn't done yet. i still love the game and still plan on digging up stuff to share with you about it by the way, that IS still my plan for this account. whether or not it'll be as consistent as before i can't guarantee though.
