UNOIKI is an exploratory platform for electronic music, visual and related art nestled between the cornerstones CLUB and ART! UNOIKI is about exploring the spaces inbetween: searching for new grounds and ways questioning and undefining rules, limits and structures in music, art, distribution, promotion and all life! UNOIKI is based on the idea of a collective of like-minded artists with an original and unique vision. UNOIKI wants to initiate projects and collaborations - and plans to publish, release and sell music, visual, audiovisual and interdisciplinary works via this website. UNOIKI wishes to build links to innovative artists, thinkers, writers, dancers, filmmakers, media-activists, DJs, promoters and afficionados to create a network, which is getting prepared for the future. After a hiatus of 5 !!! years we release a new compilation, a commemoration of our dear member and friend KJ alias choenyi, who passed away seven years ago on September 4th 2013.

In the release notes you can find some words from his friend Kimathi Moore from Asheville, who contributed a track as well as American producer Revy, both heavily influenced from choenyi´s techno and post-techno approach. Besides these guest appearances you find six more tracks from UNOIKI members Andrés Marcos, Storlon, J-Lab, MRZ, Humeka and Dr.Nojoke. Graphic design by Jonathan Mangelinckx.

The compilation is musically strong as you are used to from UNOIKI. Today First we offer a digital download only, but we are planning also a release as a very limited and handmade music cassette lateron.

Misha aka Strukturator was born in Simferopol on the Crimean peninsula. He lived always close to nature, wind and the voice of the sea, which all leaves its mark in his unique take on what he calls bio-dub-techno.

In an improvisational dialogue with his machines he sketches seven beautiful pieces, each of them a technoid soundscape of his extraordinary vision. The shifting and phasing poly-rhythms sound organic and alienated at the same time reflecting the dilemma between nature and modern life.

Natasha Bogachkova is an artist from Kiev creating ceramic sculptures. One of her sculptures is the protagonist in this short film made by Sensimo Production (VJ Reign and Strukturator). The visuals are realized by v4w.enko. _________________________________________________________

UNOIKI is very proud to present the new album BERLIN WALL OF SOUND from Paralelo, a collaboration between J-Lab and Dr.Nojoke.

The project started in 2009 to the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and now comes to an end.

there are 50 copies only - a spectecular cover artwork hand-crafted by the UNOIKI designer Jonathan Mangelinckx himself.
