Backstory for my dumb Murder Drones OC
Lily Adams
Lily’s story does not begin with Lily, but instead with Cyn.
In the universe everyone knows, Cyn was possessed by the Absolute Solver, and committed the gala massacre, going on to destroy Earth and numerous human exo planets. Humans on Copper-9 developed a patch for the Absolute Solver, which Cyn saw as a threat, so she took control of Nori Doorman to destroy Copper-9. Of course, she succeeded and you know the rest.
But in Lily’s world, things were a bit different. Instead of possessing Nori, Cyn and her disassembly drones (J, N, and V) went to Copper-9 themselves to deal with the problem.
This lead to Copper-9 still exploding, but in the explosion, Cyn and her disassembly drones were destroyed, seemingly destroying the Absolute Solver. Nori and Yeva, both being patched, did not become new main hosts of the Absolute Solver obviously.. so they both believed it was gone for good.
Many years passed, Nori and Yeva both made their own families, with Uzi and Doll being born. Uzi was still an angsty teen but Doll was.. nicer, since V never murdered her mom.
Nori and Yeva both had high positions in Copper-9 society, with their involvements in the planet’s current state being mostly under wraps.. so no one besides them and possibly Khan were aware of the Absolute Solver’s existence.
This is where we get to sweet little Lily. Lily was always a bit.. faulty.
Her programming caused her to be much more childish and innocent, struggling to fully grasp certain concepts.
One day, being a curious drone, Lily stumbled upon the ruins of Cabin Fever labs. She wandered deep into the facility…
Unknown to her or anyone, The Absolute Solver had survived the explosion.. somewhat. Its infection remained in something inconspicuous. A can of oil that some of Cyn’s own oil had leaked into at one point.
Lily, who had grown very thirsty/hungry during her little adventure into Cabin Fever Labs drank this contaminated oil..
To her credit, they never taught being careful what you drink in school, just stuff like “Don’t drink water or battery acid..” so she had no idea that drinking that oil could be a bad thing.. and no one else did to be fair.
So Lily drank the oil, unknowingly infecting with her the Absolute Solver.. unwittingly giving the Solver a new primary host.
The Absolute Solver was smart though, it knew taking control of this new host would likely lead to its destruction once more, so it layed dormant for a while..
Then on Lily’s 10th birthday, her parents gifted her a bunny plush, that she began to call Bunbun. The Absolute Solver, seeing this as an opportunity, pretended to be Bunbun. Speaking in her head in a kind and sweet voice, pretending to be her friend.
Due the Solver’s full activation, Lily also gained her own solver abilities. She had a unique one similar to how Yeva and Nori did. She had the ability to create clones out of flesh. She also gained Cyn’s illusion ability, allowing her to make her clones look more real.
Lily was obviously estatic about this, but Bunbun warned her to keep these powers a secret.. so she did.
However.. people began to notice Lily talking to the bunny plush. Most drones wrote it off as a hyperactive imagination at first, but as she talked to it more and more, more drones began to become concerned that she was defective.
When Yeva and Nori learned of the situation, they began keeping a closer eye on Lily.. and eventually noticed something that sent chills down their spine…
Every once and awhile, a certain symbol would flicker on her visor.
That haunting symbol.. the symbol of the Solver.
Since Lily wasn’t family of any patched solver hosts, they knew she had the Absolute Solver, completely unpatched.
They made the hard decision to push for her banishment. They obviously didn’t reveal what they knew to the public, but began to spread more rumors that Lily was insane and a threat to society. The two felt bad about it.. but they feared what could happen if Lily was ever taken control of.
Eventually, Lily was banished, and left out to fend herself…
