Trying to improve the “game feel” of Frog Corral. I want gathering the frogs to be an interesting challenge, but I still want the player to feel like they have control.

This is a hard balance to strike but after some tweeking I think I made it better.

Everyone else on YouTube seems to be making these really cool devlogs for their games and I've been enjoying watching them so I figured... perhaps I should do that.

Especially since I feel like "not-male person over the age of 30 making a cosy game inspired by 19th century literature" is not a well represented demographic for devlogs.

Thinking about exos in the Destiny universe again. Ik subliminal body dysphoria is a huge issue with them, but what about trans folk whose exo bodies are closer to what they want than their flesh ones? What about robot/cyborg otherkin who already see themselves as a robot in their mind's eye, and waking up to see metal hands has always been a lifelong dream? How would that affect the onset of DER? What about someone with autism/adhd who already has issues with touch and sensation processing, so the differences in sensation in their exo body is nullifiable or even preferrable? Much to think about

Ever since I saw Robin with their headphones, I keep thinking that they hear the game music in the Spirit World.

Would probably get them killed because of the distraction and not hearing all opponents. But they've got good music to listen to, at least!

Robin actually does listen to the game music in the Spirit World! They have a music player with them that the music you buy in the game shop will play from. As for if it distracts them or not, that depends on you the player. lol
