These Triple Cheddar-Stuffed Sliders are a tasty take on the original sliders. They are great for burger lovers because each one has three kinds of cheese inside it and a tasty burger sauce.
Ingredients: 12 small slider buns. 1 lb ground beef 80% lean. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder. 1/4 cup diced red onion. 1/4 cup diced pickles. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup mustard. 12 small lettuce leaves. 12 small tomato slices.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well. Divide the seasoned ground beef into 12 equal portions and flatten them into thin patties. Mix the three types of shredded cheese together in a bowl. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto 6 of the patties. Top each with one of the remaining 6 patties, sealing the edges to encase the cheese. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the stuffed sliders for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. While the sliders are cooking, split the slider buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned. In a small bowl, combine diced red onion, diced pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard to create the burger sauce. Assemble the sliders by placing a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a cooked cheese-stuffed patty on top, and then add a dollop of the burger sauce. Top each slider with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
