we love a duo that has each others’ backs
I remember Danai’s – not the scene with the walkers and the chains – her first scene coming into the prison with me and Andy. Andy and I were both like, “This girl is badass,” right off the bat. She’s been graceful. She’s been elegant. She’s been ferocious. She’s been a leader. She leads by example and she’s also infectious with her attitude and her professionalism. She’s never unprepared. She’s a joy to work with. If you’re in a scene with Danai, you know it’s gonna be awesome. She’s become a really good friend of mine. She’s going to be missed. She’s definitely one of the big ones. – Norman Reedus
wow he's so beautiful
Danai Gurira receives a standing ovation – San Diego Comic Con (2019) I can confirm that this is the last season I will be on this amazing tv show as Michonne. I would just like to say that this has been one of the purest joys of my life… to play this role, and to be amongst these people, and those that are not here right now, and amongst all of you… I’m very, very thankful for the experience that I’ve had, in ways I can’t even express right now. But I will say my heart does not leave in any way, shape, or form. The beauty of this show is that TWD family is forever. The first time I came here in 2012 I felt this energy, and it doesn’t ever end. The connection between us never ends, and that’s what keeps me going with the decision I made. It was a very difficult one. And it’s not connected to my heart. My heart stays right here. It was about my calling, in a sense, and other things I feel called to. All I’m filled with is a lot of pain about leaving, and a lot of gratitude and thanks to all of you. I love you guys. I love this show. TWD family is forever. Thank you so much. Thank you all. – DG
“Michonne is home.” – Andy Lincoln
Chadwick Boseman and Danai Gurira at The Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100 Women In Entertainment, December 5, 2018.
@michonneslove: “I’m not saying that Michonne is the best character on The Walking Dead, but that’s exactly what I’m saying. Legend.”
A very underrated T’challa look.
Jeff at the end. 😂
If something is difficult, even though it may not come out the way you envisioned it, if you’ve worked at it every day and you see the results of it, and you see the importance of discipline, and your commitment, that’s success. | (for @thewntersoldier ♥️)
