Summary: When you show up at Shokos house after a night out drunk, and with a swollen ankle that the alcohol leaves unexplainable, Shoko patiently takes care of you.
Warnings!: Alcohol! Ankle injury, reader is drunk, possibly foul language!
Authors note: GUYS FIRST FIC!!! I always loved shoko as a doctor and had this idea in mind and HAD to do it!
You realized a little too late that the freezing January weather clearly didn't come into consideration when you chose your outfit for tonight. Tiny black dress, and high heels were not the best decision weather wise, but you looked good, so it really didn't matter.
"Shit!" You slur out as you stumble your way to the front door of Shoko's place. On the bright side, Maki dropped you off, her being the only one sober and extremely overstimulated from the amount of drunk people she had to drive home. Nights usually end like that because of her distaste in alcohol, in which Nobara teases her on. Hell, Nobara was more drunk than you tonight.
The heels decided on were discarded early in the night, now being carried in your hand. Your hair a mess, and the mascara that was once perfected, now on your face, and a mysterious throbbing in your left ankle that randomly popped up in the night, but the amount of alcohol in your system makes it unexplainable.
"Fuck." Your hands fiddle with the set of keys in your hand, not being able to find the pink one Shoko had insisted you have, and made for you when you two started dating.
You hadn't happen to notice the light flicking on in the house, but the sound of the door unlocking without you touching it making you jump and drop the set of keys on the doormat infront of you.
The door swings open to a very tired Shoko scratching the top of her eyebrow and sighing when she sees the state you currently are in. She is wearing a oversized t shirt, no pants and her hair indicating the fact she just woke up.
You gasp when you see her, a wide, drunk smile crossing your face.
"Shokooo! I was j,' you pause to have a random thought, 'just think about for you." Your words slur and stutter, but the happy smile on your face causes Shoko to bite her cheek to keep from smiling back.
She ignores the random word bunch of 'about for you' and gives you a sigh. "I missed you too hun, let's get you inside and clean up, Kay?" She asks, nodding like she's answering her own question and grabs your keys from the front step, and moving to let you come in.
"Wait," your voice cracks from emotion, putting your hand up like she's too close and stumbling backwards, your back hitting the door frame.
She looks around, brows furrowing before answering, "what?"
"You're not mad, are you?" You slur out, tears already forming in your glazed over eyes.
"No, baby what?" She asks with confusion in her voice.
The tears in your eyes start pouring now, sobbing into your hands and dropping your heels on the floor as she shuts and locks the door, pulling you into her chest.
"No I'm not mad. I wish you didn't get so drunk without me, but I'm not mad sweet girl." She runs her fingers through your hair, her chin on the top of your head.
"I just..just don't want you mad at me.." you sob out, the rest of the sentence mumbled out and incoherent.
You pull back and rub your face, not minding how you usually would never do that because of the germs from the night, and full face of makeup now all over hands, causing Shoko to hum at the sight.
"I'm not mad. Let's go get you a shower. Have you eaten?" Shoko asks softly, her hands brushing your hair back from your damp face. She cups your face and takes you in. Looking at the aftermath of way too many drinks.
You shake your head and stumble towards the kitchen, the pain in your ankle throbbing as you go. You open the fridge, finding pizza from the night before and eating a slice cold, and inside the fridge.
Shoko comes up next to you after locking the door. The way you're putting weight on your right foot and not your left catches her eye. A concerned look crosses her face as she moves towards you.
"(Name) what's wrong with your ankle?" Shoko comes up behind you, putting a hand on your left hip to turn you towards her.
"Okay doctor" You slur out a tease and smile, continuing eating. "Nothing happened I just wore heels all night." The slight throbbing making its way into your senses, but instead of doing anything about it, you tear your eyes from her and back to the pizza box.
"Mhm." She hums, but her eyes don't look away from your foot. Suddenly the slight discolor and swelling catches her eye, causing her to bend down to look.
"Shoko stoppp." You back up from her, she rolls her eyes while tiredly rubbing them, and shutting the fridge while she watches you walk, well stumble, to the bedroom.
-
"Okay baby, I ran a bath for you, and set a towel out next to it." She tells you, kissing your temple.
"Where?" You ask confused. She mirrors the confusion while turning to the bathroom connected to her bedroom behind her.
"In the bathroom?" She answers and smiles sympathetically.
You nod in understanding like you've never been here before. She guides you to it, moving slower for your ankle and turns the water off, checking the temperature.
"Shoko I need you." You slur out, your hand goes to her waist and pulls her to you, messily pressing your lips to hers.
The kiss is messy, the lipstick that's left is transferred to her lips, and the makeup from your face smudges onto hers.
As you try and deepen the kiss, she pulls back and shakes her head.
"No no, you're bathing and getting in bed." She tries to reach behind you to unzip your dress, but you pull away.
"No, get out." You tell her, tears welling up in your eyes as they soon start pouring down your face. You hide your chest and back up, not before stepping on your foot wrong, causing you to yelp in pain and pull your foot up.
"(Name). Let me see your foot." She demands, not asking anymore. She sits you down on the side of the bath, crouching down infront of you and pulling your foot into her lap.
"I don't want." You can barely finish the sentence before you notice the concern in her eyes as she looks at your swelling ankle. Before she does anything else , she looks up at your face and studies your expressions as she turns the foot outwards slowly, stopping where it your face changes, showing where it hurts and she nods in understanding. She goes to turn it inwards, and before she gets anywhere, you jump and pull back in pain. In her mind she already knows it's a sprain, the unable to go inwards says all of that.
She nods at the reaction and stands up, gives you a soft smile and kissing your temple and cheek before crouching back down.
"Okay tell me when it hurts." You nod and readjust on the side. She puts her hand on the bottom on your foot, pushing upwards. After you say where it hurts the goes to point the foot downwards, and the pain being worse.
"Okay, it looks like a high sprain. Potentially inwards sprain but the main issue is that it's a high sprain. That's why the discoloration isn't as obvious." She speaks to you like you're a patient. Clearly getting lost in her doctor facts to realize you probably have no idea what these things are.
She stands you up, reaching behind to unzip the dress.
"Im hungry sho." You mumble, exhaustion kicking in and eyes heavy. You lean into her for support, subconsciously putting all your weight on her.
"You just ate pizza hun." She runs her fingers through her hair and puts one arm under your back, another under your bare legs and puts you in the warm bath.
"My foot hurts.." you tell her, you head lulling to the side on the bath and closing your eyes.
"I know my girl, but you need to bathe." She kissed your forehead and gets up, going to get a makeup wipe.
You watch her step out of the room, the exhaustion hitting you like a train making your eyes flutter shut and close. The warmth of the bath doing nothing to help you stay awake.
When she returns, you're already passed out.
Sighing. She wipes the makeup off your face, taking a rag with soap over your tired limbs, she kisses your shoulder softly before draining the bath. She pauses for a second, looking at you sleep in her bath.
"My sleepy girl." She whispers softly, mainly to herself, she slowly kisses your forehead twice, the kisses feather light. She groans as she stands up and grabs a towel fresh towel.
"Alright, hun I need you to wake up for 2 seconds so you can stand up okay?" She asks softly, stretching her aching back before putting her hands under your arms to help you up.
Your eyes flutter open and you mumble something incoherent as you push on the sides of the bath with all the strength you can muster, which isn't a lot, to get up.
"Mmm shoko I'm just..just tired." You tell her, mumbling and rubbing your eyes as you try and ease the burn of tiredness in them. You get lost in rubbing your eyes that you lean backwards, almost falling back before Shoko grabs you.
"I know, but we need you in bed." She kisses your temple before slipping her arm under your legs. You wrap your arms around her neck as she carries you to her bed.
She sets you down, grabbing your wet towel and going to hang it up before you stop her.
"Shoko can you sleep with me?" Your face smushed into her pillow as you ask.
"I would hope that was the plan since it's my bed." She smirks and hangs the towel up, going to grab clothes for you. You watch her go and tears well up again. Why was she leaving you? What did you do?
"Here, change into this...why are you crying?" She asks and hands you the clothes.
"I thought..thought you were leaving me." You sob out, covering your face and rolling over.
She sighs before coming over to rub your back.
"No hun, I'm not. I do have to clean up this bathroom though." She hands you the clothes again, turning to go into the bathroom before you stop her.
"No no I want you here. Please ko." You whine, reaching out towards her.
She hums and softly smiles, knowing being stern won't help this situation and walking towards you, helping you sit up.
She slips the shirt over your head, putting your arms through and slipping the pants on your legs.
"Im going to get you water, and pillows to prop this foot up." She kissed your head before turning to grab pillows for your aching foot.
As you watch her go, the pain in your foot becomes more apparent. The throbbing and pressure feeling from the swelling now hitting you.
Tears slip through your eyes as you look down at your ankle, the color of it slowly turning colors and getting bigger.
She walks back with 2 pillows from her couch, her eyes softening in sympathy when she sees your face. She comes and moves the hair from your face, brushing the tears away. "Shhh shh I know baby. I know it hurts. You're such a strong girl for standing on it." She puts the pillow under your foot, and softly places the ice pack on your foot.
"Shoko it hurts" you mumble out, moving and wiggling uncomfortably as your eyes flutter shut. The pain wasn't this bad before, or maybe you're just slowly sobering up and the pain is coming back.
"Here." She hands you pain meds and her black and teal Owala you got her for Christmas. Smiling softly at the memory, you take the two tiny pills and lay back down, the ice slowly making your ankle feel better.
She sets the water on the side of the bed, kissing your head before walking to her dresser and changing out of her wet clothes.
"Shoko hurry up." You mumble, rolling over while being mindful of your foot, and reaching for her spot in the bed.
You hear a soft laugh before you see her walking over and slipping into the spot next to you.
She scoots close, her hand going to your face as your glazed over eyes watch her as she leans down, kissing you softly.
"You had me worried (name). I don't like it when my girl comes back hurt and drunk." She leans behind herself to turn the lamp off.
She lays back down and she gently puts your head on her shoulder.
"Im sorry." You apologize, words almost incoherent. You close your eyes as the comforting smell of her body wash from her shower earlier in the night fills your nose.
"It's okay, sleep. We will check on the foot in the morning." She softly tells you, kissing your forehead before slipping into sleep herself.
Hello! Could you make a scenario with Mikey, who is crushing on a gn reader who is very nonchalantly mature and dislikes sweet stuff but lets Mikey feed them sweets? The scenario could be that Mickey overhears Takemichi or the other complaining to gn reader that they let Mickey get away with eating sweets while outright rejecting everyone else.
I really see Megumi as the type of lover who is very private with his love. He doesn't poster his girlfriend everywhere or shout it from the roof tops, but it's easy to notice if you look closely at the little things.
His demon dogs protect her just as they protect him. He always keeps an eye on her, not even realizing it before Maki points it out one evening while everyone else is training, and she's grabbing water. Making sure she eats and drinks water, especially in the heat. Looking at her with pure devotion and loyalty, that anyone who tried to walk between his line of sight to her would be stopped by a brick wall.
PDA is a big no, the most he'll give in public is him standing close by, or fixing her uniform. Even behind closed doors he doesn't normally initiate affection. But if she were to lay next to him, he would make room either by scooting over, or putting an arm out for her to lean on him.
I also see him as someone to date a girl who is a huge contrast of him. Maybe she's bubbly and talkative, while he's quiet and reserved. Maybe she prefers crowds, while he doesn't. Small things like that. But they contrast so perfectly that it's perfect.
Hangouts mainly would be in his room, probably after hours or when everyone's gone. Megumi doesn't get alot of sleep, but after being with her for a bit, he realizes he sleeps better with her company. Especially on her chest with her fingers in his hair? Out in minutes.
Definitely the type to text in the same room as her. 100% a big texter when he isn't busy.
Gojo knew they would get together the SECOND Megumi met her. Did he tell Megumi that? No. But he watched like a movie that he already knew the ending too. After all, he raised the boy.
But in summary, Megumi is the type of lover to love deeply, but privately. It's the little things.
