Hey guys. It’s been almost a year since I last posted on these blogs and… with a heavy heart, I finally have decided to retire these RP blogs. I’m sorry for the asks I never answered and for the RPs that I did not continue. I had some amazing times here and made some wonderful friends, whom I shall cherish forever. Journey still means a lot to me and so do all of you, but it’s time for me to move on.

I’m going to keep these blogs here just for old time’s sake. I may still finish Ancestor Torramh’s story and upload it onto my AO3, so you can keep an eye on that if you’d like. When I do start uploading the story, I’ll also make an announcement here.

You can still follow me on my personal blog, my art blog, and my cosplay blog. Thank you so much for the wonderful times and I love you all. <3

((Heyyyy everybody. If you all probably hadn’t guessed so far, the lost wanderer, Myfanwy, and  Erebos will all be on an indefinite hiatus. I still want to keep these blogs running… but I just don’t have the time or energy or inspiration to do that right now.

I’ll still check in, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to update. I hope my inspiration comes back sooner rather than later. I love you guys.))

Bubblegum Pink

Erebos leaned forward and considered the colour. There were very few things in the world that were bubblegum pink… and even fewer that were important to him. He could only think of one… but…

With a sigh, he rumbled, There was one time that I wore—HMH NEVERMIND.

{/Then she is lucky to have a brother who wants to see her.\} she murmured, still touching his arm.

{/For what it is worth, you are don't feel polluted. Different and frightening, yes. But not polluted. Once you get past the instinct to flee, you're quite...\} she thought for a moment, trying to put his feel into words, {/To me you feel otherworldly. Dangerous but not...wrong.\} a sigh sliped from her, {/I'm not good with this....talking thing. But you feel like the other half of the world. The balancing half. You're not uncomfortable to be around.\}

As she listened to his description of the world, her heart tightened. So much more than she knew was out there. How she longed to see it all, even if it was through this pseudo sight she had. {/It still sounds...nice. Not as boring as I like to think it is.\} she chuckled.

Erebos chose to let the conversation of his sister drop. It was still a very sore subject for him and he loathed thinking about her any more than he already did.

He thought about her words and her impression of him. Otherworldy. Well, it wasn’t totally false. But the fact that he didn’t seem wrong to her was interesting. He was not an unnatural being, true, but his power had become twisted and changed. He was a mere shadow of himself.

And Erebos wondered… what if he gained his power back?

He rumbled and shook his head, trying not to think of the possibilities—though the revenge would taste sweet. The tall shadow blinked slowly and added to Hellaet’s words, You are not wrong about balance. My sister and I were two halves of a whole—her day to my night.

Erebos noted the longing in her voice about the world. Perhaps even though she did not want to take the journey to the mountain, she wanted to travel the world instead? He wondered and then finally asked her a question, for the sake of ongoing conversation (he was definitely not lonely, oh no… she was just interesting).

Erebos blinked in surprise and squinted at the figure on the paper. Could it be...? How did they...?

He rumbled nervously and said, While I'm not sure how you found this photo of me, I do admit that I look damn sexy in that outfit.

She mused, {/Shy, or ashamed that hey hurt those that give everything to them?\}

When he spoke of his sister, her ears perked but she did not push him for more. Instead she murmured, {/Perhaps she came for her brother.\} she cleared her throat, {/When a sister longs for her brother, sometimes w....they will go to great lengths just to see their face again. Even if we know they are not the same.\} The comment was casual yet there was a small sliver of pain nestled in it.

His rumble was pleasant to listen to, soothing to her ears and giving shape to the tunnels around her. {/It did didn't it?\} she giggled, {/And despite all that, finite little ones such as myself still long for that interference.\}

Hesitantly, she reached out to touch his arm, just to confirm he was real. {/What did it look like...where you're from?\}

Erebos let her comment about siblings sit on the air. Her words made him uneasy, because the emptiness deep within him was still fresh and raw—there was no longer a part of him that felt warmth… he was cold and bitter. And very, very alone in the world now.

After mulling over her words, he quietly grumbled, Perhaps your words are true.... from your experience, I gather. But I have gone through great ends to find reunite with her again. He paused, Not the other way around.

The great shadow rumbled again and felt very old suddenly. A simple question about where he was from sent him back years, ages, eons to a time where things were much different. He thought about how to answer her question. How does one convey the abstract power through words?

Where I come from was not a specific place… He began, speaking slowly so to collect his thoughts. Rather, it was just existence. Just… essence and power. We had no physical form until around the time your ancestors decided to give us shape; a shape that held meaning to them. When I was cast out, I became polluted and my form changed to what it is now.

Erebos slowly lifted his shoulders in a shrug. Your world is vast, much larger than this desert and mountain. The landscape has evolved and moved so much over the years that I have lost track of what it looked like early on. Much different, to say the least.

The tall shadow looked down at the girl and wondered how she could get him to ramble on like that. It was a strange talent of hers. Perhaps he really was lonely enough to befriend a wayfarer. Interesting.
