What was your first time like? (I mean catching a pokemon you naughty person, you)
[Silly anon-kun]
"I gotta admit, my first time catching a pokemon was pretty scary. Yeah I was with daddy but there's only so much he could do, I still had to be the one to catch it. Come to think of it I think the first pokemon I caught was Rono. He was just a baby Aron back then but it was still a wild fight."
If you could only train one type, what would it be?
"Only one type?" Sapphire let out a hum. What was her favorite type. She had so many, she liked all of them. "Well...Mmm...Maybe fighting type. There are lots of em and their all good sparing partners. Their also really fun too."
Who has been the most important person in your life? Can you tell me about them?
"Well there have been plenty of important people in my life, almost too many to count. Obviously mom and dad are a big part of my life, dad especially. They are the ones that raised me into the girl I am now. Winona was also a person high up on the list. She taught me everything I know about battling so far. So I have a lot to thank her for. But..." She pondered and smiled lightly.
"I think Ruby has been the most important person in my life. Not only did he technically save my life but he helped open my eyes to the world. I took interest in battling and being able to fend for myself because of him, though I don't think he'd be to keen on me saying that. He's also opened my eyes to other things as well. Heck he's still showing me little details i've never noticed about myself or the world around me. While we may not see eye to eye on everything and we might get into little spats here and there he's done too much for me not to list him as important. If I hadn't met Ruby I don't know what i'd be doing right now. Probably still sitting at home in a dress doing housework with mom. Yuck!"
what are your views on magma/aqua?
"Do I really need to explain that one? Their dumb." Suffice to say she doesn't like them.
does it get really hot in hoenn?
"Uhg, yeah it can. It is a more tropical climate so with heat we tend to get humidity. Then it makes everything all sticky and hard to breathe. On days like those it's best just to stay inside with a fan blowing in your face or go to the beach. I don't understand how some of the pokemon there survive with all that fur."
Fancy meeting you here | Ruby and Sapphire
Ruby chuckled softly as Sapphire puffed up in response to his teasing. Adorable. Upon the topic of her battles, Ruby looked down to Dono. The coordinator knelt down beside the Pokemon, smiling gently as he examined it’s features. While he wasn’t one for battling, he did admire the strengthened look her Pokemon had.
"You’ve been working hard. Dono is looking a lot stronger, just by looking at his tusks and armor." confident in his examination, Ruby stood back up. "While still I can’t agree that battling is the most stylish road to take, I can tell you’ve improved."
Ruby’s words halted as Sapphire’s stomach rumbled, his own stomach making a similar sound. He opened his mouth to suggest leaving, but Sapphire beat him to it. Before he could say anything, Sapphire had him near falling over as she dragged him along the path. With his free hand, he fumbled to recall Mimi back, then proceeding to pick up his pace, as to keep himself from falling. His cheeks had become tinted with a light rosy color, his heart fluttering in the same way it did whenever he came in close contact with Sapphire.
Upon arriving at the cafe, Ruby looked over the menu, mentally debating which would be best. He hadn’t realized that he was still connected with Sapphire until she released the contact, his face becoming slightly red.
"The fruit platter sounds good," he replied, "Though a noodle bowl is sounding nice, as well. Did you have anything specific in mind?"
Sapphire sat there for a while, loosing herself a bit as she thought back to the previous words Ruby had said. She looked...stronger? Her eyes wandered back down towards Dono who had managed to keep up with his overly excited trainer. Trunk reaching up to hit her hand happily. Come to think of it, Dono's tusks did look bigger, and whiter. His armor also felt harder. Quickly she peered back up at her companion beside her, who thankfully was too busy looking at the menu.
It was weird how different the two thought and in a way how envious she was of it. It was as if Sapphire was a Rapadash with blinders on, only able to see in front of her down one path to her goal. Moving so fast that her body barely had time to breathe, much less take everything in around her. Yet Ruby always took note of the finer details, especially when it came to Pokemon. He was able to slow down and appreciate the world around him. Maybe...a bit of a break sounded nice. At least if Ruby stuck around for a while to. She'd need someone to keep her company and help her relax.
Either way the fact that Ruby was still able to give her and her pokemon a compliment like that, especially on something he didn't quite see eye-to-eye with her on, made her heart well up. To know she was doing a good job and it wasn't just her seeing it gave her all the more motivation to keep moving forward. "Thanks." She mumbled out lightly.
The boys question snapped her back into reality, realizing she had been staring at him for the past five minuets. "Huh? Uhh I want a noodle bowl." She squeaked out and faced forward, trying to hold in the oncoming blush. 'Wow I must have looked like a creep.'
"Well, We could get both? I mean...if you wanted to get an extra large bowl and share it that is?" Her arms folded across her chest once more, going back to rocking back and fourth on her feet. Dono, having witnessed the whole thing couldn't help letting out his own kind of Pokemon laugh.
Ohh, then may I ask where would you prefer to go on a date? Do you have anywhere special in mind?
"Oh there would be lots of places i'd go. But...If I had to pick i'd say somewhere were we could be alone. Maybe in the jungle somewhere, high up in a tall, thick tree, eating a packed lunch among the Tailow and Swablu. Or even better the beach! I love swimming at the beaches in Hoenn. Heck even swimming out in mid ocean with Walo. If I went there though i'd have to buy a new bathing suit. I haven't used my old one since I was...well...thirteen. I think i've grown a bit since then. Plus I normally swim in my shirt." She gave a toothy grin and winked.
"Yup, just spending some alone time with the guy who asked me out."
If Ruby asked you out on a date would you say yes?
"I - well - I probably would yeah. I see no reason why I should say no. Ruby’s a nice guy. We’ve already established I like him.”
"Man is it boring in here or what."

Ohh don't act like that Sapphire. I'm sure he still likes you and that he remembers. Maybe you just need to jog his memory. Just go try talking to him. Maybe in a more remote setting.
"I'd rather just leave it be. If he remember's great, if he doesn't there's no damage done to him. Sure I might be upset but it's not all about my feelings." She bit her lip and sat down on a nearby bench. "I'd rather not be a bother to him...i've always been a bother to him, i'm not going to be one now."
Ruby and I right now...
Just go kiss him Sapphire. You know you both want to stop delating the inevitable. What about what you told him on the island. Does any of that mean anything anymore?
”First of all who told you what happened there. You know it’s rude to go snooping around peoples personal lives like that! Second of all…” She stopped and bit her lip lightly, sapphire hues cast down to the ground.
”It happened a long time ago. I don’t even know if he really remembers it much. We were so caught up in trying to save Hoenn that it just kinda all came out in a hurried mess. If I could do it over I would but. What’s been done has been done. I’m not going to run the threat of losing my best friend all because of some stupid, girly, emotions.”

Fancy meeting you here | Ruby and Sapphire
Ruby gave a small chuckle as he watched the girl bounce around with excitement. Usually, he would advise her to contain herself in such a busy area, but it wasn’t the time for that. It had been a long while since he had seen his friend, and he hadn’t expected to for a while, given he had traveled to a whole different region. But, here she was.
"Figures you would run off to battle some more," Ruby replied, giving a shrug of his shoulders, "Guess I’m no different, though. This place has had plenty of contests-" Ruby was cut short upon receiving a surprise hug from Sapphire. He had to dig his heels into the ground as to hold his place, and gently wrapped his arms around the girl’s slender frame.
"It’s great to see you, too, Sapphire." Ruby said, while the two embraced. A light red had creeped it’s way to tint the coordinator’s cheeks, though it was quickly shaken off as the simple hug was broken. As she explained how she wound up running into him, he couldn’t help but smile up at his Milotic. Thank Arceus Mimi had seen the girl, or who knows how long it would have taken him to notice her.
"The attention here is great!" Ruby proudly announced, placing a hand on his Pokemon, "Everyone loves the team, since they aren’t native here." he explained, giving Sapphire’s hair a playful ruffle after she pulled down on his hat. "It has been a while, hasn’t it? Though, you don’t seem to have grown that much!" Ruby teased.
He was glad when she offered to spend some time with him. He was eager to catch up on how she’d been doing, and eager to spend some time with her in general.
"I’ve got nothing going on," he nodded, "There is a small cafe down a few blocks, how about we go have some lunch?" Ruby suggested. He knew she wasn’t too fond of closed and busy spaces, so he ruled out going to an actual restaurant. Mimi happily greeted the other Pokemon, leaning down to nuzzle Dono.
Sapphire frowned and puffed out her cheeks as Ruby teased her. Yeah she was still a bit on the shorter side but she never let that get in her way. She had a hunch he'd be liking the attention. Then again this was Ruby she was talking to. He was the master at being the center of attention. "Yeah I feel ya. In all the battles i've taken part of everyone comments on Toro, Rono, and Pilo." She gave a slight smile. "Though Dono feels right at home here." She giggled and watched the ground type nuzzled Mimi back happily.
The mention of food caused Sapphires stomach to rumble. She almost forgot how hungry she was through all the commotion of meeting Ruby and wanting to get her next gym badge. "That sounds great!" The female licked her lips hungrily and looked around until she spotted the sign. Her hand quickly reached out to grab Rubys, damn near dragging him along the dirt path to the small little cafe.
Once they arrived her eyes intensely scanned the list of items they were selling. A ramen bowl sounding the best out of all of them. Soon her gaze slowly trailed sideways to peer over at her friend. "What are you thinking of getting?" She dared to ask, realizing she was still holding onto Ruby and quickly let go. Hands folded behind her back as she shifted her weight from one side to the other.
