toby’s ALWAYS going to be understanding about this even if he, himself can be pretty touchy around people he cares about—almost to a clingy point. but after you sat him down and talked about you wanting him to lay off it, he’s off. you don’t even have to explain why.
however, due to toby’s varying emotions he can be a bit pushy. like hugging you to suffocatingly and then getting irritated when you tell him to let go but it’s only because he feels like he’s nothing without touching you. that’s how he always has felt. you just have to tell him that he’s more to you than hands, that you love him because of who he is and he nearly cries.
the first time you intertwined fingers he almost screamed excitement but he kept it cool for you (minus the trembling.) he didn’t want you to get weirded out and pull away, not when he finally has the chance to love on his partner.
he gets so flustered when you touch him sometimes because it feels like a mega reward, getting a big stupid grin on his face when you hug him.

the second he heard your cry he swiftly turned around and scanned the area. seeing your body on the floor bleeding and attempting to fight off the rogue victim whom was quite literally trying to beat your face in made something in him snap more than it already was.
this was the first time Jeff the fucking Killer had felt scared in a LONG time.
he let out the most INHUMAN screech known to man, it even scared you. you weakly turn your head and tried to focus your blurring vision as the ring in your ears got louder when you saw him charging—looking like a dog when they see their owner getting attacked. your breath hitched at that glint in his lidless eyes, the emotion that was trying to be hid behind anger. fear.
he tackled the victim down and just began beating the living shit out of them. you know when Jeff isn’t using his knife to get it over with that there’s a problem. you’ve never seen him go so feral since he was taken in as a proxy and even then he was just new to killing and didn’t really know what he was doing. he was throwing everything at the poor victim like they poisoned his bloodline. punches, screaming, feral insults that made you wince and wanna cover your ears if they didn’t shake so bad.
once he was done taking his time with them, he ended it with a sickening crack of their neck and limped his way over to your now sitting up body. picking up his knife he stares you dead in the eyes and actually says; “i don’t wanna talk about it. get the fuck up and let’s go.”
the whole walk back was silent except for his panting and your slight winces but every time he heard your little sounds of pain he shook harder, like it physically wounded him as well.

he was already nervous from the moment you said you wanted to spar with Jack. sure he was eyeless but he already told everyone that he can sense movements BETTER than people with good vision. he warned you, he tried to tell you not to, hell he even said HE’D go up against you instead of the fucking eldrich being but nope—you wanted Jack of all people! after a bit of convincing, Toby and Jack agreed to let you spar with him as long as Jack didn’t go all out on you.
already, Jack can control himself quite well but it was the claws that he kinda can’t control all the way. they automatically come through when sensing heavy emotions from Jack so feeling he was frustrated, they came through unfortunately creating a large gash straight in your side and let me tell you…Toby has never moved so fast in his fucking life.
he sprinted towards you two, dropping his hatchets in the process and sliding toward the ground. his hands flailed everywhere but didn’t exactly touch you, he didn’t want to make it worse than it already was. “F-Fuck, FUCK! Jack I fucki-ng told you not to go all OUT!” he cries, voice cracking slightly and his neck hauling back for a second as a whistle escaped his lips.
Jack pants as he was already grabbing medical equipment. “and i told YOU that these things cannot be controlled.” he obviously felt bad but it was true, he did tell you all that his claws are extremely dangerous.
you cough out a little blood from your lips but tried to rasp out a coherent sentence through the pain. “it’s…it’s fine–“ “no the FUCK it isn’t!” Toby cuts you off. blaming everything on Jack even if it wasn’t necessarily his fault. he couldn’t help himself, he didn’t want to blame you for anything. he never did even if it was your own choices to blame.
later while you were healing in bed, Toby never left your side. sighing softly to himself as he rubs the healing gash ever so gently to not irritate you but instead soothe you. “i’m-i’m sorry i let you do that, (name). from now on, no more of that shit. you can only spar with me.” you knew he wasn’t trying to be possessive or anything, he was just worried and in a protective crisis.

he got the organ out of the victim who was currently under anesthesia. whispering softly to what he thought was you: “i’m going to stitch them up and clean the blood and then we can go, yeah?” when he didn’t get a respond, he realizes that he was to focused that he didn’t feel your presence was missing entirely. he jolts his head to look over his shoulder and sees the door agape. then he heard a thump in the downstairs which caused him to drop his equipment and book it down them.
he found you holding your wound while a dead body, which he only assumed to be his victim’s partner, laid on the ground. you look at him for two seconds before dropping to the floor.
the next thing you see is the blinding ass light of his little room at home. hissing slightly which you didn’t know if it was from the brightness or the pain in your side. moving your bloody hand to shield the light blinding you, you look down to see jack huddled in the corner—mask fully off and laying at his feet.
“Jack?” you mumble, he flinches and stares at you with those black sockets before scrambling over like a nervous puppy. holding you to his chest he sobs: “i’m sorry…i couldn’t protect you.” you’ve never seen the usually stoic being like this. ever. “i didn’t even notice you were gone, i was so caught up in everything that i—that i let you down…” you gently brush his shoulder to comfort him but he digs his head in your neck instead. “i’ll be doing my own hunting from now on.”

the second the words "we need a break" fly out of your mouth in a soft whisper, he just stops for a second. the cruel grin usually stuck to his face is no longer present and he almost looked stuck for a short period of time─like he was waiting for you to say "sike!" or maybe because he was just figuring out how to react. he's had people leave him but they never tried to leave by choice. not his parents, not liu, no one. he usually took them out himself or in liu's case─tried to take him out.
then after that short period of time, it was hell.
there's crashing, there's screams, he's acting like an actual animal only because he doesn't know this feeling. he's never known how it feels to be broken up with after giving all you've got to said person. or at least being to cocky and slef-absorbed to believe you gave any less.
"you can't leave me, are you psycho!?" he cries with a shaky grin on his crumbling face however his voice cracked at the end. "i'm jeff the FUCKING killer, you think leaving me is a good idea? I could slice you up right fucking now, babe..."
however once he realizes you're serious about the whole thing, his act drops and you can barely blink before he's on his knees and gripping your arms. something he's never done for anyone since becoming the thing he is today─begging.
"hold on, hold on please...i-i can change you know I can! or do you just not have faith in me?" he giggles nervously but the tears flowed like a waterfall. "AGH, FUCK! what are you doing to me?.." he tries everything from the book that he knows. pleading, promises, hell even trying to coax you into the bed but nothing works and that truly scares him.
"what...?" he shivers out. already reaching for you with trembling lips and widened eyes but you gently create space. "toby, I just...don't see this working out."
after a minute he's just sobbing at your feet. "nononono, please! I thought-f-FUCK─you said I was doing good!" his head jerks to the side. it hurts you so bad seeing him get this stressed out. his tics were starting to get really bad.
he's ugly crying. tears rolling down his face, nearly choking on them. the sobs that escape his lips are more like screams and cries of terror and agony almost like you were physically hurting him, even if you weren't and he couldn't feel it if you did anyways.
I personally believe breaking up with toby may be the worst actually because toby will threaten his life to get you to stay and would go through with every word because he truly doesn't see point in his life without you. "if you leave me...I don't know what I'll do. I might actually end it, [name]. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!" he'll sob into your stomach, gripping your arms so tightly that it might bruise later.

"I'm sorry...I don't know what I did but─i'm truly sorry if I hurt you, my dear." he brings your fingers to his lips and presses kisses to your knuckles. "if we can...please tell me what I can do to make it all better. please...I'd rather you scream at me for days than leave me alone, [name]. you're the best fucking thing that happened to me.
if you still refuse his desperate attempts he'll start pressuring just a little but will overall let you go. just not without a fight. "please, PLEASE...I know you were happy with me before, I could sense it. if I did something fucking tell me."
probably the easiest to let you go but not fully. he'll try everything he can after the break up to get you back. being so sweet, it's sickening...he might leave you flowers or your favorite treat, protect you in literally everything even if you should have been punished, flirting in his own subtle way or maybe continuing to act like you're still together by acting out when jealous.
overall he's easy to let you leave physcially but to him? you'll always be with him.

you held your best friends body, clinging on tightly to the lifeless corpse like it would somehow save them. looking up to see Liu—or was it Sully? no that was definitely Liu. you could see it in his eyes…you could see the horror he can’t hide at the action he had just committed. a horror you don’t think Sully could even mimic. the gun trembled with the movement of his right hand and his lips quivered as tears filled his eyes. he didn’t feel sorry about your friend, he felt sorry that you had to see that. had to witness the monster he really was. the monster he tried so hard to hide from you for all these years.
he tried to act like he was holy even with the actions he’s committed in his life. the audacity he had to wear a cross around his neck while pointing the barrel of a gun at someone’s head with zero feeling at all. he tried hard to convince himself that he’d never ever be like his brother. never be like the man who ruined his life but in reality, he was just like him. the only difference between them was Liu just knew how to hide it better and Jeff was a shameless, cocky fuck who couldn’t give a shit about anyone but himself. or at least that’s the persona Jeff tends to put up around everyone nowadays.
the gun drops to the floor with limp fingers as he staggered closer to you while holding open his arms like a child begging for comfort after getting hurt. you couldn’t move, your body wouldn’t let you. you had to except his twisted affections and sit there while he wailed in your arms and while your best friends dead body laid in your lap like some sacred sacrifice. sobbing, messy apologies escaped Liu uncontrollably. mixes of “i’m sorry” and “i had to do it, they were getting to close” were whispered into your neck, being muffled by the skin while he pressed messy kisses against it.
the trauma must’ve washed over you within five minutes or so because the second your wide, panicked eyes flickered down to look at the stiff, lifeless corpse against you, you passed out cold. it was all to much—everything about it—the blood, the weight, the fact your childhood friend was murdered by your boyfriend, all of it.
you woke up hours later, head throbbing. your eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room and you realize you’re in none other than your goddamn basement. you tried to move your arm to help you up and off the mattress that was holding you but you only got so far before hearing the sound of chains grinding against one another and then feeling the uncomfortable tug of them against your wrists. this motherfucker chained you up. he chained you up in your own goddamn house. you let out a cry of frustration and anger before just breaking down, completely overwhelmed.
this somehow made a ruckus because the second the salty tears came, so did the sound of the basement door creaking open to reveal the man you called your boyfriend. his eyes were red and puffy from crying and his posture was that of a scolded puppy waiting for another ear full.
he stumbled over to you, already getting on his hands and knees while gripping your stomach and pulling you close like he knew what was coming. “i’m sorry…” he sobbed. voice cracking with fear.
“i’ll be better, (name). i swear i fucking will…” he presses a kiss to your chapped lips but you pull away which made him cry out a loud,“FUCK!” he grabs his thick brown hair and pulled like a fucking five year old. he was never this…immature before. for as long as you knew Liu he had never been one to act out unless it was something really serious. seeing him behave like this, it scared you to be fair. how could it not? you just witnessed him kill your best friend of years right in front of your eyes before kidnapping you.
“i’m trying so hard, baby…” he grips your thighs and pulls you closer, digging his nails into the skin to create red marks which made you wince slightly. “Liu—stop-“ “i’ve tried for so long! you can’t say i haven’t!” he sticks a gentle but firm kiss to your cheek like it’ll make up for everything. “that “friend” of yours was being a BITCH and talking shit about you TO. You sat on Ben's bed. Your face was flushed and your glasses were tilted slightly while the asshole in front of you had the audacity to ask, "you good?.."
You sighed a little, nodding in response. It was hard to stay mad at him even if you didn't want to admit it. That smug smirk and half-lidded eyes, that normal people would've seen as scary, just seemed to light up the room a bit. Offering little comfort in such an awkward situation even if, on the inside, Ben was just as nervous and tense as you! Sure you've kissed before but it was only a peck.
Actually, what you're doing now was supposed to have been "just a peck" but you both just got lost in the moment since you couldn't even remember the last time you two were alone together without someone else. The next thing you knew it was getting heated, your lips were all OVER each others once you got the hang of it when suddenly Ben grabs you weakly by the shoulders and pulls you off panting.
"I was watching a YouTube video a few weeks ago...about a game I love...one of the characters looks a lot like you and...and they're really, really powerful." He looks at you, now his smug persona was starting to crack from how high he was on your kisses. He seemed dazed and his eyes weren't focused on any specific thing. You gasp in delight.
"Really, Ben?? That's so sweet!" You reach for him again and pull him back in for another kiss when it hit you and you pulled away as he whined in protest. "You know...there's this one abandoned themepark from decades ago. I was reading about it and it sounded so fun but then there was a few murders that happened which caused a big shut down. Do you think if it was still here that you would take me to it?"
He huffs, nodding. "I'd kill for you, I think I would be SO DOWN to take you too an abandoned ass themepark." You smile and he simply pulls you back in for another kiss. The loud clatter of metal hitting a hard wood floor shatters the silence of the lonely wood cabin you've grown used to. Your eyes flicker up from the book your reading to the man you now prefer to call a "friend", Toby. A soft hum escaping your lips as the brunette's head tilted slightly to the side and a look of confusion, almost...disappointment crossing his sharp features.
"You...didn't run?" He asks slowly, voice cracking with emotion. Heavy boots thumping on the floor as he approaches cautiously, almost like he's walking up to a wounded animal and not a person he's lived with for several years. 'Did he hit his head?' Is all you could think of. He must've because the way he's looking at you doesn't give prank vibes. He ACTUALLY looks confused as hell.
"I...no?" You reply, as slow as him. "Toby, are you okay? We've lived together for two years..." he scoffs in reply. Plopping down next to you in the old couch that bared tears from how much he struggled to get it in the house. it was almost funny how much he'd done just to get you to stay with him. I mean before you came all he had in the cabin was a mattress and maybe, if you remember correctly, a lamp in the corner. He didn't need much in his mind. The only reason for having it in the first place was to have a quick nap or shelter from the rain and snow even if he didn't doubt for a second that he'd survive without it.
Toby spent most of the time outside in summer and only stayed inside because he knew that, even if he couldn't feel it, the cold would get him sick. However, once you came along after he found you in the woods and for some reason, took a liking to you, he couldn't just let you leave after he got all attached. So he followed your wishes and worked his ass off building a new life for you like a couple after moving into a new house except you didn't know that "partner" of yours was a murderer.
You had just moved in when he found you and the news of killing off his dad before burning down his neighborhood didn't get exposed to you due to you being stupid and getting lost in the same woods Toby just HAPPENED to hide in.
You not knowing he was a full killer didn't mean you didn't know he was a full psycho. He kept you locked in the cabin after you tried to leave, begging you to stay. Telling you he'll build you an amazing, happy little life here with him. Promising he'll do everything to help you feel comfortable, and he didn't lie. He's busted his balls off for TWO WHOLE YEARS stealing things from the city and campers around the woods to make you happy.
He brought you both beds with new mattresses, fluffy little pillows and soft, cold blankets. He learned how to install a shower, a toilet, a freaking sink. He's even got you things to entertain yourself with like books, a old ass TV and some board games. It was all for you, everything he did was for you. It almost made what you're about to do cruel.
"Toby?" You whisper hesitantly. Scooting closer to him, almost like you were trying to soothe him into not flipping out. He growled lowly as he slowly turned his head to look at you with narrowed, knowing eyes. "I thought we agreed you'd stop asking the same fuck-FUCKing questions a year ago." He leans forward making you sigh and your head drop low. "Toby...I just can't stay here anymore." "Why do you think I'd let go of you now? B-bitching and moaning about missing a life you've never had won't get you far, I'll promise ya that." You move away from him in an attempt to sulk.
"I..." he groans, placing his head in his hands in frustration. "I don't fucking get it...that's it." He rubs his temples to soothe the ache he can't even feel. "I've tried everything. I've worked my ass off to make you happy here and you still wanna go crawling back to that fucking city like it will be any different." You don't reply, that's only because you feel guilty even though you shouldn't. You have every right to want freedom, every right to want away from this insane man whose held you captive for two years.
However the feelings still there. He was right in a sense, he made the cabin he once didn't give two shits about into a comfy little home just for you. Just because he grew attached to something he once thought was impossible. "Toby...please let me leave." You plead, gripping his shoulder as he tensed like a ticking time bomb ready to blow. You didn't stop though, you kept pushing in sheer desperation. "I promise we can keep in touch, I promise! You-you can even come live with me, you can-" there it was.
"For fucks sake- STOP!" He cried, grabbing a random thing from the coffee table and raising it above his head in pure instinct before pausing as you shrink back and cover yourself with your hands. He sniffles, not feeling the warm tears that slowly dribble down his cheeks. He hasn't cried in so long. Not for anything, not for anyone. "Just...stop..." he lowers the item and his head dropped low making his fluffy bangs cover his eyes. Shoulders jolting slightly from a tic but overall staying limp.
"Toby..." you reach out and grab his arm gently. You weren't pushing him, you weren't forcing anything. He slowly leans in and starts sobbing in your arms. He's done this far to many times that you both already knew the drill. He'd cry until you said you'd stay with him before he'd act like nothing happened just to protect himself. And you would stay. You would always stay because you knew if you left he'd make your life a living hell.

Your body aches, your hands tremble as you just barely trail the wall with your fingertips to keep you from collapsing, leaving a trail of blood. You tried not to look at it, it made your stomach twist and churn with unease and you fight back the urge to vomit. You can't do that right now it isn't the goddamn time! You have to keep moving, you have to get out as fast as you can. Damnit why aren't your legs moving as quickly as your mind tells them to!?
You sob as the pain lerches through your body, leaving you trembling. Your other arm, the one that's not bracing the flowery wall for support, reaches down to put pressure on the gushing stab wound in your side. You've seen the people do it in movies but why is it so hard now when you really need to do something or you'll die!? Your breath trembles as you force your head to just barely glance behind you, eyes brimming with the sting of tears.
Down the hall, you spot the grousome face you had once wished you'd get a chance to see again. Though the cuts in his face make it harder to notice (or maybe just the fact you're on the verge of collapsing), he's not smiling. Not smiling like he was when he brutally killed your parents while you watched. The large cuts in his cheeks now split from grinning so hard at the sight of your parents demise, it makes you sick. He tilts his head causing you to sob louder and cry for help though you know no one will come. Not this time, no...this time you know what's coming, don't you? He slowly starts approaching you. Purposely making his footsteps louder than they need to be just to scare you. He always got a kick out of scaring you, even when you were younger. Even when he barely knew you he just liked to scare things. That was one of the many bad things about him.

"Mom...I'm trying to sleep..." Jeff groaned as he approached the bottom of the staircase, almost tripping as he was still not used to it. After all, it wasn't at all like the one-story house he had back at home. Back at HIS home. He rubbed his eyes groggily, pausing quickly at the sight of people sitting in the living room and his face contorted in emberresment and utter confusion.
He got woken up at the ass crack of dawn in shorts and a T-shirt to a whole fucking family chatting it up with his mom!? He was a 13-year-old boy, the last thing he wanted was to look like a fool with no swag while people were over.
"Oh hi, honey!" Jeff's mother called in that annoyingly fake tone she always had when talking to people. Nothing at all like how she sounded in a day-to-day basis, "I'm just talking to our new neighbors who came to welcome us." She walked over to him, grabbing him by his hand and slowly pulling him towards the living room while he shuffled stiffly. This was so fucking embarrassing.
His eyes darted from a neatly dressed woman, to a slightly disheveled (but not dirty) man, then to you. Someone his age who looked just as uncomfortable as him. Playing with the jewelry you had while your knee bounced up and down as both your parents introduced you to one another. Jeff knew it was coming, you knew it was coming, you both knew so much that you could only spare a second long glance before your parents told you to go hang out while they chat more like they haven't been for over 30 minutes.
After, you sat in Jeff's room. You tapped away at your cell while Jeff sat awkwardly on his bed, lowkey admiring you. You looked really cool while he was some sweaty, pimply, messy eyeliner having creep who wouldn't stop staring. He picked at the bottom of his shorts while you glanced once, then did a double take causing you two to make eye contact for longer than necessary before you both tried to talk at the same time. "I'm-" you both stopped and laughed nervously as you let him go first. "I'm Jeffery..." he murmured. You nodded and introduced yourself back.
He took a glance at your phone, eyes widening. "Oh- no way, you already have the new cell phone!?" He exclaimed, gripping his emo-styled fringe in something akin to panic or amazement. You blinked, laughing a little. "Uh, yeah...my friend got it for me on my birthday." You didn't want him to think you were some spoiled rich kid that got everything handed to them. He nodded slowly, mouth still formed in an 'O' shape.
Somehow, as the time passed by you two started getting closer. You even stayed for a little after your parents left! When it was time for you to leave, he bid you goodbye before you left his room. It took him a minute after to realize that he didn't want you to just leave and have It be the end. He got up and started to run after you, once again nearly falling down the stairs with a panicked "WAIT!"
He shakily wrote down his cell and handed It to you, telling you to contact him if you wanted to make plans to walk to school together. You took it. Of course you did. He looked so nice that you just couldn't resist! Although now, you wish you could just go back in time and tell your younger self to not even interact with him but back then there wasn't an option...or so you thought.
There was something about him, something pathetic. His mother told you beforehand with your parents that after they moved, Jeff was the one who was the most affected. Sure, Liu was right there with him and all. Getting used to it as well but Jeff...his whole life was back at their hometown. His friends and all even if it wasn't much, meant a lot to him.

"Jeffery!" You sob, trying to knock some sense into him though it doesn't even LOOK like him. He hasn't since the accident and he has certainly changed even more so since the murder of his parents. Your cry sure didn't do much but it did cause him to pause slightly. You don't know why but you do the same thing. Maybe because your legs just wouldn't carry you anymore or maybe because you truly want to know if he is still in there.
"I...didn't want to do that but you got in the way." He murmurs, pointing at the blood that leakes from the wound in your side. Bull-fucking-shit. He looked straight at you, raised the knife, and swung. There is no way he DIDN'T mean to do that! You don't respond though, just staring at him with pleading eyes mixed with something like anger. Or maybe agony. You don't know. He let out a breath through his nose (or what's left of it.)
"Come here." He opens his arm, stretching them wide whilst leaning forward. What, was he expecting you to jump in his fucking arms so you could run off and live happily ever after in a shed!? You couldn't help the huff that escaped your lips. "Fuck you. You just murdered my parents you fucking psycho!"
He growls and jolts forward, acting like a damn animal. "For fucks SAKE!" You flinch, nearly falling over. The hand that clenched the wall slides off as you prepare to run but even then...you don't think your legs would carry you so at this point you were just instincts. "I did ALL OF THIS for YOU! I forced myself back to this goddamn hell hole for YOU and this is all you do!? All because I got rid of some PIGS that didn't give two shits about you?! Not more than I do. Never more than he did." He? He as in his past self?
You blink once and he was there in front of you, grabbing you roughly by your elbow and tugging you close to him. You felt the cold of his knife sliding across your back. Testing you. "Do you remember...when I protected you? Do you remember that?"

Your breath hitched as you laid on the cement of the sidewalks. Your head ached, vision blurring ever so slightly. You heard Liu's soft voice ringing through your ears, a mix of yelling and...something that sounded like fighting. Punches landing over and over and over again.
"Hey! Wake up...are you okay?" Liu shook you slightly. "Jeff stop!" His head jolted from you to Jeff, to you again when he realized he was NOT getting his attention. You raised yours to glance at Jeff, eyes widening as you saw him. He looked like a goddamn feral animal, punches from him AND Randy landed as they fought like dogs.
Troy and Keith were on the sidelines. Troy gripping his stomach from where he was stabbed, dazed as fuck and Keith knocked out cold with blood leaking from a wound on his head. You almost threw up as you saw the bone basically sticking out of his crooked nose. "Jeff..." you mumble and he somehow heard you because his head threw itself to glance at you which is when Randy struck him again. He let out a growl of anger and then went back to fighting until the three kids were laying on the ground.
He made his way towards you and Liu, holding his arm while it twitched restlessly from adrenaline. "What...happened?" You asked, making Liu let out a panicked cry. "Fuck! Do you remember anything? They hit you really hard! Do you...do you know who we are!?" Jeff rolled his eyes with a groan. It was always amusing to see his older brother get all worried. He slowly crouched down and checked your head. "Those assholes ran up on us, as you know...and while Randy tried to start shit, I shoved him. He, being the dumbass he is, raised his arm and knocked you upside the head."
That caused Liu to shove Jeff making him gasp sharply and look up at him with anger. "What the fuck?"
Liu started yelling at Jeff about beating those kids up while you gather the strength to stand. Apparently, once Randy accidently hit you...Jeff lost. His. Fucking. Shit. It almost made you feel glad he stuck up for you against three people with KNIVES. Key-word, ALMOST felt glad if he hadn't, y'know, broken a nose to the point the BONE stuck out and stabbed someone. As they bickered you all pause at the sound of the sirens blaring. Swearing under your breath you stood up and all of you started running before they found you.

Later that day, you heard the cops showed up at Liu and Jeff's house and apparently, LIu covered for Jeff and got arrested instead. The second your parents told you that, you got up and ran over to Jeff's house.
He sobbed in your arms all night while you gently stroke his soft, shaggy black hair. God, you felt so bad even though you were barely involved in the fight. Liu was a very selfless person, always has given up SOMETHING for Jeff when he got in trouble. Ranging from him telling his parents as kids that he broke the vase when they play fought even though Jeff did, to him literally going to juvie after his brother went feral on three kids all because they accidently hit you.
"I tried to talk to him, man. I tried!" Jeff babbled. Voice cracking shortly after. "But he never fucking listens, he NEVER FUCKING-" "Jeff..." you grab his shoulder causing him to look up. "You tried, okay? At the end of the day, it was Liu's choice. He might be a bit of a pussy but he's strong, yeah?" Jeff nods. "He'll be okay." You smile.
You didn't even register it before it happened, Jeff surged forward and kissed you. It was messy, his lips didn't even hit yours, instead they landed on the side of your mouth until he adjusted them. You blink in surprise before slowly melting into it. Despite both your lacks of experience, it felt like it was always meant to happen.
Little did you know it would all come down.

You sniffled as Jeff's grin broke through. You remembered, he couldn't believe it. He could see it in your eyes. "Yeah?" He grabs your face causing his knife to press against your face. You felt the blood of your own parents smear on your cheek and a whimper mixed with a sob escapes your lips. "Aww..." he mocked. Lidless eyes glinting with something akin to excitment, "don't cry...did you miss me? Hmm?"
You push against his chest, crying out which caused his smile to crack a little as he growls and grabs your wrists to stop your weak attacks.
"You're coming with me, babe...I let your ass go once, you think I'm doing that again? Plus, it's not like you'll last long with a wound like that." His eyes dart to the stab wound HE CAUSED. "And I REALLLY don't want that. So...you can either be a peaceful, civil person and come willingly so we can bandage that bitch up...or I can take you kicking and screaming."
You bite your lip, thinking about your options but before you could decide it looks like your body had other plans. Your vision blurs and your legs fail causing you to fall straight into him. Before your vision faded completely you heard the raspy sound of his voice as he holds your body up. "Exactly. That's what I thought. You were always mine." And with that, it all fades to black.
